This Surprises You?

Google Holds Copies of All Emails and All Websites Visited

Some commentators are describing Google, the world's most used internet search engine, as "scary," after learning that the internet giant stores web search history and e-mails.

When you surf the web you have to be aware that every site you visit and every search you make is logged somewhere. Your ISP keeps records, the search engines keep records, individual sites keep records of who's coming from where, what they are looking at and for how long, and where they are going. You can be sure I missed something, too. Nothing is secret on the internet. For most people, most of the time, nobody cares what you are doing and they are not really keeping track of you personally, but you can be sure that if they need to know - they can.
