Even Pollyanna Gets the Blues
By the time the lessons are learned , it will be too late. Too late to get back what we had. Too late to keep what we have.
We are not the only country who will feel the pain. The whole world is on the verge of collapse and change. We are all taking turns adding straw to the camels back, the end will be sudden, the consequences disastrous.
I know, la, la, la, la, la.
It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God drives them out from before you, and that He may fulfill the word which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Therefore understand that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people. Deuteronomy 9:5-6
That fits this country from start to finish. And we're going to lose this great blessing for the same reasons.
