Looks Like We Made It

Yes, we made it to New Orleans. We left Saint Cloud at 9:00am eastern time and got to the hotel at 10:00pm central time. What a long drive. We drove through the city but of couse it was dark. Still, it was easy to see the charm of the city. You can see the city from where we are (Gretna) if you look in the right place. Most of today was spent at services as it was a holy day. Tomorrow, I'm not sure what we'll do. Perhaps a walk in the French Quarter. The hotel is very nice and it has wireless internet access in the public areas. So far as I can tell that means just outside the lobby where there are no chairs to sit. If I walk farther I lose the signal. There is also no place to plug in the computer. Oh well, I found a place to sit.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Well, actually a van. When I get off work James and I will be headed to New Orleans with our friend, Abner, for the Feast of Tabernacles. Irma will stay home with Joshua. We were supposed to go to the Florida panhandle but hurricane Ivan put an end to that.

I will be bringing the computer and the camera so I should be able to do updates while there. I've never been to New Orleans - it should be interesting. James wants to go so badly he was crying the other day because we weren't leaving yet. I think he just wants to go swimming though. He will.

FREE TAPE: The DIVINE Destiny of America

To the End

I took a shower before I left work Monday morning. On the way home I noticed all the gas stations had plastic bags over the pumps (international symbol for no gas). I knew if I found a station with gas there would be a line. I had to wait, I think it was 40 minutes, the first hurricane. I passed a Shell station that was all boarded up, closed and empty. On the plywood was painted "Open, pay at pump." Too good to be true, no way. I turned around to check it out - no one was around. The pumps were on, so I put in my credit card and filled up the tank. That was easy. The rest of the way home was the same as before - no gas and only two other stations were pumping and they both had lines. It pays to pray. On my way back to work the Shell station also had bags on the pumps, but the plywood was gone.

Speaking of answered prayers, the power came back on today at 12:30pm. When I got home I cleared some debris - a few branches - and put the plants and chairs back outside. I also took the plywood off the windows. I watched a movie (Sweet Home Alabama) on the computer while leaving the car running with the inverter to power the fridge. I had a fan going too, it was a bit hot. And windy, it was so windy today, even with the hurricane in northern Florida or Georgia. When the movie ended, the power came on. I plugged in the fridge, put on the A/C, called Irma to tell her the power was on and went to bed.

I had it easy during these hurricanes. So many people in the area have lost everything. The only thing to do is hang in there and get through it. Sometimes that's all we can do. Read Staying Power.

Do You Hate God?

Why is there so much hatred for anything to do with the Bible and the God of the Bible? No other god has that effect. People may or may not care about them but they don't loathe them the way they do the God of the Bible. Did you ever stop to think about that? Here's a short study that goes into that: The Hatred of God

It's Cleanup Time

Now that the hurricane has done it's damage the cleanup begins. My home was not damaged but we are without power once again and for how long is anybody's guess. It wouldn't be as bad if we didn't have a fridge full of food. I can stay at the hotel and shower here, no problem. I was at work when the storm came through here and it really began to hit hard after 7:00 am so I couldn't go home. The power at the hotel did not go off. At 10:30am I decided to drive home and it wasn't too bad but I had to drive around debris and downed traffic lights. I plugged the fridge into an invertor for a while to recharge the cold air. I'll go home in the morning and do the same. I just hope I can get some gas for the car soon.

Disintegrating Bonds

"If men and women tried to create a society in which there is no fundamental agreement about good and evil they will fail; if having based it upon a common set of core values, they surrender those values, it will disintegrate. For society is not something that can be kept together physically; it is held by the invisable but fragile bonds of common beliefs and values ... common morality is part of the bondage of a good society, and that bondage is part of the price of society which mankind must pay ..." Sir Patrick Devlin (Lord Devlin)

Dumb and Dumber

New Iran missiles can reach London

Iran said today it has successfully test-fired a long-range "strategic missile" and delivered it to its armed forces, saying it is now prepared to deal with any regional threats and even the "big powers."

Iran's new missiles can reach London, Paris, Berlin and southern Russia, according to weapons and intelligence analysts.

Prepared to deal with the "big powers?" Who are they kidding. Do they have any idea what the big powers are really capable of? The problem with Iran is it is run by insane Muslim clerics (are there any other kind?) and they would not be allowed to proceed any further in their nuclear program if the "big powers" had any sense at all.

For those who don't think that is fair should seriously consider the fact that the countries that have nuclear weapons at this time are sane and interested in the preservation of life - especially life in their own country. Iranian mullahs or whatever they call themselves would gladly sacrifice the life of everyone in the world except that of their immediate families just to be able to kill a few Jews. Got to do the will of allah, don't you know.

Kerry Faults Bush for Pursuing Saddam

Kerry either has no clue whatsoever what we are involved in or doesn't care and just wants to be President at all costs. Either way, electing this guy would be a serious mistake.

Here we go again! Another hurricane right through this area. We're all boarded up and ready - just waiting it out.

Believing the Big Lie

The Presbyterian Church USA and the Episcopal Church, USA are siding with the Palestinians and Arabs over Israel and divesting from the the Jewish state.

The strategy of pressuring the Jewish state by divestment – a tactic last used against South Africa to bring about an end to apartheid – is advocated by Palestinians and Arabs worldwide, Dinsmore told the wire service.

There is a petition in protest of the action.

The petition says the church's resolution is "anti-Semitic because NO OTHER nation is being singled for divestment, not even those whose violations of human rights are truly egregious."

"Only the moral blindness of Jew-hatred could lead the church to compare Israel’s multi-racial democracy to apartheid South Africa," the petition says. "Only anti-Semitism could lead the church to condemn democratic Israel, while not voting divestment from Saudi Arabia, where women have virtually no rights and non-Muslims are not even permitted to enter the country without special permission, from Sudan, where race-based genocide is occurring even as we speak, from Iran, where Bahai are murdered for their faith, or from the many other countries where human rights are violated as a matter of routine." The petition concludes: "We condemn the Presbyterian divestment resolution as an act of hatred against Israel and the Jewish people and call for its immediate revocation."

Amazing. It's truly amazing to witness events unfolding so similar to those that took place before World War II. Even more, most people don't even recognize it, don't even care, and play right into it. The Israelites treat Arabs living in Israel and not trying to blow them and their children up better than any other Muslim or Arab state treat their own citizens. There is something to the comparison of Jews to the canary in the coal mine. All hell will be breaking loose in the not too distant future. I don't know when, but it's coming. It doesn't have to happen, the warning signs are there and they are obvious but it seems the world just doesn't want to bother to read them.

Works of an Amalikite

Here is a must read speech on the war on terror by Haim Harim called A View from the Eye of the Storm

So what is all the fuss about suicide killings? It creates headlines. It is spectacular. It is frightening. It is a very cruel death with bodies dismembered and horrible severe lifelong injuries to many of the wounded. It is always shown on television in great detail. One such murder, with the help of hysterical media coverage, can destroy the tourism industry of a country for quite a while, as it did in Bali and in Turkey.

But the real fear comes from the undisputed fact that no defense and no preventive measures can succeed against a determined suicide murderer. This has not yet penetrated the thinking of the Western World. The U.S. and Europe are constantly improving their defense against the last murder, not the next one. We may arrange for the best airport security in the world. But if you want to murder by suicide, you do not have to board a plane in order to explode yourself and kill many people. Who could stop a suicide murder in the midst of the crowded line waiting to be checked by the airport metal detector? How about the lines to the check-in counters in a busy travel period? Put a metal detector in front of every train station in Spain and the terrorists will get the buses. Protect the buses and they will explode in movie theaters, concert halls, supermarkets, shopping malls, schools and hospitals. Put guards in front of every concert hall and there will always be a line of people to be checked by the guards and this line will be the target, not to speak of killing the guards themselves. You can somewhat reduce your vulnerability by preventive and defensive measures and by strict border controls but not eliminate it and definitely not win the war in a defensive way. And it is a war!

What is behind the suicide murders? Money, power and cold-blooded murderous incitement, nothing else. It has nothing to do with true fanatic religious beliefs. No Moslem preacher has ever blown himself up. No son of an Arab politician or religious leader has ever blown himself. No relative of anyone influential has done it. Wouldn't you expect some of the religious leaders to do it themselves, or to talk their sons into doing it, if this is truly a supreme act of religious fervor? Aren't they interested in the benefits of going to Heaven? Instead, they send outcast women, naive children, retarded people and young incited hotheads. They promise them the delights, mostly sexual, of the next world, and pay their families handsomely after the supreme act is performed and enough innocent people are dead.

Suicide murders also have nothing to do with poverty and despair. The poorest region in the world, by far, is Africa. It never happens there. There are numerous desperate people in the world, in different cultures, countries and continents. Desperation does not provide anyone with explosives, reconnaissance and transportation. There was certainly more despair in Saddam's Iraq then in Paul Bremmer's Iraq, and no one exploded himself. A suicide murder is simply a horrible, vicious weapon of cruel, inhuman, cynical, well-funded terrorists, with no regard to human life, including the life of their fellow countrymen, but with very high regard to their own affluent well-being and their hunger for power.

To go along with this speech I highly recommend listening to Ron Dart speak about it in a talk he gave called Bad Seed. Got to this page, register (free and they don't send you anything) and sign in to hear his archives. You will see Bad Seed listed near the top. Mr. Dart has really been on a roll lately and he's a good teacher.

What Are They Smoking in the Panhandle?

Sheriff Denies He's Hiding Bodies Of Hurricane Victims

One rumor has it that a tornado hit a hospital and killed 157 people, another that a 40-foot tidal wave washed 20 people to their deaths and a third has hundreds of bodies being hidden away in a morgue.

That prompted Escambia County Sheriff Ron McNesby on Tuesday to deny that he was hiding bodies of people supposedly killed during and after the storm.

"There are not dozens and hundreds of bodies hid anywhere," McNesby said during a nightly news briefing by local officials.

Why would the sheriff be hiding hundreds of dead bodies? Was the hurricane actually a top secret government project tested on it's own citizens? Or maybe a new terrorist weapon and they don't want us to panic?

They did get hit pretty badly over there. Check out these before and after photos. Wow. The pictures are actually of the Alabama coast, not Florida.

Check out that last photo - they sure didn't waste any time getting that new house built! One gone and a new shows up next door.

"The human mind is not capable of grasping the Universe. We are like a little child entering a huge library. The walls are covered to the ceilings with books in many different tongues. The child knows that someone must have written these books. It does not know who or how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. But the child notes a definite plan in the arrangement of the books - a mysterious order which it does not comprehend, but only dimly suspects." - Albert Einstein

Are We Willing to Pay the Price of Peace?

Would You Make a Treaty With the Devil?

So they entered into treaties with Germany, created the League of Nations, and held their breath. Men like Winston Churchill (sadly, only a few) recognized the danger. Why would no one listen to them? Why did they continue to trust treaties with the devil? For the simplest of reasons. They were tired, worn down by war and deathly afraid of war. They wanted peace at almost any price, and so they grasped at the tenders of peace and hoped for the best. They got the worst. And they got it because they weren’t willing to pay the price of peace.

No Soup for You!

Al Yeganeh (of Seinfeld "Soup Nazi" fame) was on Neil Cavuto today. Very interesting. I fully understand why he doesn't like to be called the soup nazi, who would. That's really a terrible name, But ... everything about him, his demeanor, his speech, the way he looked - he's like a soup nazi.

I always thought the whole thing was an exaggeration. No, it isn't. The guy apparently is very good at what he does, perhaps the best. He is very particular about the way he does things which makes sense - he always strives to be the best. He's got so many people who want his product that he just doesn't have time for chit chat or indecisiveness. I really understand, some people can check into the hotel in less than a minute and there are some who just takes 30 or 40 minutes or more - coming in, going out, talking to their friends, talking on the cell phone - it's like they are moving into the lobby, the whole family comes in and takes over. Just check in and got about your business - other people are waiting. I understand.

But he even said you have to qualify to purchase his best soups. They go for $30.00 a quart. You have to qualify! I wonder what the qualifications are? He's doing something right. His website is here.

"He's not a Nazi. He just happens to be a little eccentric. Most geniuses are."

They Have No Clue What We're Dealing With

Iraq Hostages' Kin Appeal for Their Lives

These monsters must be eliminated from the face of the Earth as soon as possible and at all costs. I heard John Kerry say he is afraid President Bush will get us into another war if he is re-elected. More proof he is in way over his head and also has no clue. Afganistan and Iraq are merely battles in a much larger war with more battles on the horizon. Those are the facts and we either take a stand and defeat these evil bastards or we die. Well, perhaps you can convert to Islam, if that is a choice for you.

Anyone with a grasp of history knows what Islam did when it had power. They spread the Islamic religion all the way from Spain clean to Indonesia.

Do you know how they did it?

They did it with the sword. Their tool of evangelism was with a sword at your throat or a spear at your chest - accept Islam or die. It was one of the most successful evangelistic efforts in history.

Now, you can call Islam a religion of peace if you wish, but it's not their history. --Ronald L. Dart

It's not their history and it is not their present.

The beheading was shown in a nine-minute video posted on the Internet on Monday. In the footage, a sobbing, blindfolded man identified as Armstrong knelt in front of five militants dressed in black. The banner of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's Tawhid and Jihad, a group linked to al-Qaida, hung on the wall behind them.

The man in the center read a statement, then pulled a knife, grabbed the hostage seated at his feet and sliced his head off. The victim screamed and blood poured from his neck. Al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian who is the most wanted militant in Iraq, purportedly conducted the beheading himself.

They will do the same to you and to your children. They will do it to your children in front of you or to you in front of your children. Begging and pleading have no effect. Islam is evil personified. It is the same evil that was in Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot and yes, Saddam Hussein. The longer we put off an all out assault on this evil, the more of us are going to die and the harder it's going to be. The Democrats are dead wrong on this and the Republicans are not doing enough.

This is the next World War and it has already begun.

Christians and Vengeance

A Hard Look at Vengeance

In the aftermath of the World Trade Center bombing, there was one question raised that no one really stopped to answer. Is it wrong for the United States to seek vengeance for the murder of the 5000 innocent people who died on September 11? Should we, as a country, turn the other cheek? There were those who thought the criminals who did this act should be brought to justice, but that it was wrong to merely seek revenge on Osama Bin Laden and the Al Qaeda organization.

When I thought about this, it seemed obvious that there were some fundamental misunderstandings about both vengeance and the responsibilities of governments. So here we will try to clarify the issues and deal with some misunderstandings relative to vengeance-especially as it relates to Christian people.

First, a definition. Vengeance denotes: "The infliction of injury, harm, humiliation, or the like in return for an injury or other offense received; revenge." Related to vengeance are the ideas of retribution, punishment and justice.

A Rose By Any Other Name ...

Catholic hospitals commit - and U.S. bishops condone - live-birth abortion

The news was a real bummer. A reporter named Tom Szyszkiewicz, who writes for the Catholic publications, Our Sunday Visitor and the National Catholic Register, was calling to tell me he had discovered two Catholic hospital systems were committing the induced-labor abortion procedure - live-birth abortion - on handicapped babies.

The bad news warped to bizarre when Szyszkiewicz said these hospitals were waiting until babies were 23 to 26 weeks gestation before aborting them - i.e., until they were of viable age - so they could say these weren't abortions at all, but simply labor inductions and, thus, sanctioned by the Catholic Church
.

We're against abortion so let's wait till the baby is viable, induce labor, and cast it aside to die in hospital soiled utility rooms, or drowned in buckets of water, or sealed to suffocate in biohazard bags. I'd like to have been a fly on the wall when they were reasoning that out!

They have become fat, they shine. Yes, they go past the deeds of the wicked; they do not judge the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may get rich; and they do not judge the right of the needy.

Shall I not visit for these things, declares Jehovah? Shall not My soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

An astounding and horrible thing has happened in the land.

The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so, and what will you do at the end of it?

Unruly and Depressed

How the pressure to succeed is creating a generation of unruly, depressed teenagers

Is it pressure to succeed? Or is it because they are not allowed to fail? The prevailing thoughts the past 30 years have been toward not allowing children to succeed or fail. No winners, no losers. Self esteem absent accomplishment. Children who are not allowed to fail never learn how to overcome failure, they never learn how to win. That makes life tough in the real world where success is built on failure.

I'm going to post something here that goes into this deeper in the next few days. Watch for it.

How Cheap Has Life Become?

Now They Want to Euthanize Children

FIRST, Dutch euthanasia advocates said that patient killing will be limited to the competent, terminally ill who ask for it. Then, when doctors began euthanizing patients who clearly were not terminally ill, sweat not, they soothed: medicalized killing will be limited to competent people with incurable illnesses or disabilities. Then, when doctors began killing patients who were depressed but not physically ill, not to worry, they told us: only competent depressed people whose desire to commit suicide is "rational" will have their deaths facilitated. Then, when doctors began killing incompetent people, such as those with Alzheimer's, it's all under control, they crooned: non-voluntary killing will be limited to patients who would have asked for it if they were competent.

And now they want to euthanize children.

In the Netherlands, Groningen University Hospital has decided its doctors will euthanize children under the age of 12, if doctors believe their suffering is intolerable or if they have an incurable illness. But what does that mean? In many cases, as occurs now with adults, it will become an excuse not to provide proper pain control for children who are dying of potentially agonizing maladies such as cancer, and doing away with them instead. As for those deemed "incurable"--this term is merely a euphemism for killing babies and children who are seriously disabled.

We haven't gone this far yet but there are those who want it. Killing babies - that we do. What is the difference between child sacrifice and abortion? Is it any less evil if it is done in the name of a god or for no god? A temple or a doctor's office? By a doctor or a priest? America needs to wake up to this evil as well. It's not enough to just leave it to the choice of the mother and wash your hands of it. The consequences of these actions fall on the heads of all of us.

So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it.
Numbers 35:33

Mr. Judgement

Kerry vs. Kerry

JOHN KERRY said yesterday that Iraq was "the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time." Translation: We would be better off if Saddam Hussein were still in power.

Not an unheard of point of view. Indeed, as President Bush pointed out today, it was Howard Dean's position during the primary season. On December 15, 2003, in a speech at the Pacific Council on International Policy in Los Angeles, Dean said that "the capture of Saddam Hussein has not made America safer." Dean also said, "The difficulties and tragedies we have faced in Iraq show the administration launched the war in the wrong way, at the wrong time, with inadequate planning, insufficient help, and at the extraordinary cost, so far, of $166 billion."

But who challenged Dean immediately? John Kerry. On December 16, at Drake University in Iowa, Kerry asserted that "those who doubted whether Iraq or the world would be better off without Saddam Hussein, and those who believe today that we are not safer with his capture, don't have the judgment to be president or the credibility to be elected president."

Kerry was right then.

Letter to Mankind

Last night I ran into a couple of websites I hadn't known about before. One of them is Jihad Watch. On that site I read a "letter to Mankind" from another site I didn't know existed. It's a site dedicated to telling the truth about Islam from the inside by people who really know what it's all about. Here's the letter and afterward the link.

Dear fellow human,

Today humanity is being challenged. Unthinkable atrocities take place on daily basis. There is an evil force at work that aims to destroy us. The agents of this evil respect nothing; not even the lives of children. Every day there are bombings, every day innocent people are targeted and murdered. It seems as if we are helpless. But we are not!

The ancient Chinese sage Sun Zi said, "Know your enemy and you won't be defeated". Do we know our enemy? If we don’t, then we are doomed.

Terrorism is not an ideology, it is a tool; but the terrorists kill for an ideology. They call that ideology Islam.

The entire world, both Muslims and non-Muslims claim that the terrorists have hijacked "the religion of peace" and Islam does not advocate violence and terror.

Who is right? Do the terrorists understand Islam better, or do those who decry them? The answer to this question is the key to our victory, and failure to find that key will result in our loss and death will be upon us. The key is in the Quran and the history of Islam.

Those of us who know Islam, know that the understanding of the terrorists of Islam is correct. They are doing nothing that their prophet did not do and did not encourage his followers to do. Murders, assassinations, beheadings, massacres and sacrilege of the dead "to delight the hearts of the believers" were all practiced by Muhammad, were taught by him and were observed by Muslims throughout the history.

If ever truth has mattered, it is now! This is the time that we have to call a spade a spade. This is the time that we have to find the root of the problem and eradicate it. The root of Islamic terrorism is Islam. The proof of that is the Quran.

We are a group of ex-Muslims who have seen the face the of evil and have risen to warn the world. No matter how painful the truth may be, only truth can set us free. Why this much denial? Why so much obstinacy? How many more innocent lives should be lost before YOU open your eyes? A nuclear disaster is upon us. This will happen. It is not a question of "if" but "when". Oblivious of that, the world is digging its head deeper in the sand.

We urge the Muslims to leave Islam. Stop with excuses, justifications and rationalizations. Stop dividing mankind in "us" vs. "them" and Muslims vs. Kafirs. We are One people, One mankind! Muhammad was not a messenger of God. It is time that we end this insanity and face the truth. The terrorists take their moral support and the validation for their actions from you. Your very adherence to their cult of death is a nod of approval for their crimes against humanity.

We also urge the non-Muslims to stop being politically correct lest they hurt the Muslims' sensitivity. To Hell with their sensibilities! Let us save their lives, and the lives of millions of innocent people.

Millions, if not billions of lives will be lost if we do nothing. Time is running out! "All it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing." Do something! Send this message to everyone in your address book and ask them to do the same. Defeat Islam and stop terrorism. This is your world, save it.

The ex-Muslim Movement

www.faithfreedom.org

This is all very interesting considering what I have been writing on this blog. There is another article I saw I would like to point out: Ex-Muslims fear for their lives – in America

Because in traditional Islamic law, for a Muslim to convert to another faith brings a death sentence. This is not, mind you, "extremist" Islam. It is the Islamic mainstream, based on a statement of Muhammad: "Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him." It's also based on a statement of the Quran: "But whoever of you recants and dies an unbeliever, his works shall come to nothing in this world and the next, and they are the companions of the fire forever" (Sura 2:217). This has been widely interpreted by traditional Muslim commentators as giving sanction to the death penalty for apostates - which they derive from the verse's assertion that the apostate's work will "come to nothing in this world" as well as the next.

If they are not killed they will be disowned by their families. That puts an awful lot of pressure on someone to stay the course - these families and the Muslim community are very close knit. It will require alot of support to safely get people out of that hell. It is something we must do. If you are a Muslim then you should be considering leaving Islam and you should visit www.faithfreedom.org.

CSS

I played with the CSS settings on this page and was able to clear up the problems I was having with the sidebar in Internet Explorer. Finally.

September 11

I wrote my 9/11 rant on the 8th but I feel I have to say something today as well. 9/11 is not something I've forgotten most of the time and just remember once a year. To me, that day was the alarm that really woke me up. Sadly, it seems, too many of us have just hit the snooze bar. We in this country have not taken this warning as seriously as we should have. We are so busy arguing about what to do that we aren't doing everything neccessary to protect ourselves. Those not in the argument have their fingers in their ears and just want to forget it completly.

9/11 was not just a one time attack. The people that perpetrated this act have declared, loud and clear, their intention of destroying this country and our way of life. They have also shown the ability to do so, not by direct assault, but by slipping in unaware, attacking our rear and our women and children. Nothing is off limits to them. They use our good will, our good intentions, our generosity, and our laws against us. And we let them. The worst thing anyone can do in this country these days is even giving the appearance of offending someone. We don't recognize evil when we see it, even when it rears it's ugly head and bites us. No, it's just an abberation, that's the religion of peace, it's just a few nuts doing that jihad stuff, that's not what they're all about. The only Muslims not speaking out against us are those in this country and those in this country are quiet as a mouse. You are not welcome in their places of worship. While I have no doubt that many, if not most, have no evil intentions beyond spreading their religion in a peaceful way to all Americans, taken as a whole, worldwide, Islam is the incarnation of evil in our times.

I'm not advocating violence against Muslims in America - no - not at all. I am advocating searching for and recognizing the truth - by all Americans. If you live in America and you love America and you want to continue living here in peace, as most of us do, then perhaps it would be beneficial if you were not a member of, unarguably, the most violent, intolerant, hate-filled religion ever seen in modern times. Perhaps not as practised in America but do you really want to be associated with that image, with that god? You are, whether you like it or not. And when the world has finally had enough of seeing our children slaughtered by yet another muslim, and it is not going to stop as you know, do you really want to be standing under that banner? The good will go with the bad. Not everyone in the Nazi party was a hate filled, evil killing machine but when the world finally woke up and had enough the last thing on earth you wanted to be was a Nazi. Germany was destroyed, along with most of Europe, not because they were all evil but because that was where the evil was.

I don't think I will leave this mp3 here for very long so download it now if you want to hear it. It brings some sanity and clear thinking to a subject people don't like to hear. Thinking About War

Socialist Legal System

Yellow Tomato Causes Legal Dilemma

The mushy remains of a tomato thrown at a prominent member of Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder's Social Democrats has posed a legal dilemma for authorities trying to assess how to punish the thrower.

Had it been a soft red one, the man would have faced a lesser charge of causing malicious damage. A harder, green tomato could carry the tougher charge of bodily harm.

A yellow one is somewhere in between. "In these types of cases it has to do with the consistency (of the fruit)," said Caecilia Cramer-Krahforst, spokeswoman for the court in the eastern city of Cottbus.

No decision on the charge has yet been reached.

If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. Well, no ... it is funny.

Pulling My Hair Out

I made some changes to the site code to try to get the blog to work better in Internet Explorer. The main thing I wanted to fix was the page would end at the end of the archives, sometimes right in the middle of a post. That is fixed. The blogroll is not spacing properly and that seems to be a problem with the Blogrolling code. I'm not sure, I could be wrong (Imagine that). Actually, I change my mind, I believe it is the fault of the person who coded the site because I went to the sample site and it has the same problem. I can get the links and blogroll looking good but the blog will end at the end of the archives, so it's one or the other. I chose messed up links. It's as good as it's gonna get right now. I don't use Explorer but I know many people do. Too bad, because it's really not near state of the art in browsers. Not even close. That's a good reason to dump AOL.

The site works great in Safari, Firefox and Opera. I guess it's just not IE friendly - not my fault.

I think it's time for a vacation.
Hurricane Magnet

New weather patterns turn Florida into a hurricane magnet

A left jab, a right hook, and now it looks like we'll be getting an upper cut. Florida is getting beat up. I don't drive all over the place so at first it looked like there was not alot of damage but as news stories get out it is apparent that many areas of Florida have been hit very hard. Many people have lost everything. Sometimes whole neighborhoods. And flooding in some areas is very bad.

I would have to say that in some cases it seems as if it is the builder who didn't build up to proper standards (my unprofessional opinion), houses in certain neighborhoods have just basically fallen apart. Many houses are built where they shouldn't be. I saw one particular house that seemed to be in the middle of a lake. Well, lake levels vary and just because it is dry for so many years does not mean it does not reach higher levels, especially in places like Florida. But I think for the most part these storms are just so powerful and the winds so relentless that one weakness and you are pretty much toast. One thing breaks and it leads to another and another.

I'm really not in the mood for another one at all and that feeling is shared by everyone else around here. Enough already.

I'm not Always Serious ...

I like to laugh, too. This is funny. Nice one, Dave.
The Time is Now

The time is now Daniel, the time is now

So, the question is, why hasn't any Arab “lion-ruler” or, for that matter, any Arab civic groups spoken out against this horror, forcefully, clearly and bluntly? Should not those Arab leaders or at least their Mickey Mouse parliaments here and there come out and be counted?

The only outrage you ever here from Muslims is outrage at Israel or the United States. People need to get a clue! The answer can't be any more clear.
Remember Pearl Harbor

The United States was not the least bit interested in going to war with anyone through the beginning of WWII. When the Japanese hit us at Pearl Harbor the nation pulled together as one, knew what it had to do, and set about ridding the world of evil at any cost.

September 11, 2001 has been compared to Pearl Harbor but it was no Pearl Harbor. The nation came together for a little while but now, on the 3rd anniversary, the country just doesn't have the heart to do the dirty work. We have the means, but not the will. We have a president ready and willing to make the tough decisions but the whole country is not behind him. Many are, but not with the same fervor of WW II.

We have a habit of letting evil get away from us. We just can't allow ourselves to believe anyone can be so cruel, let alone millions of people. Yet, if Hitler was stopped the first time he broke the treaties of WW I he most likely would never have amounted to much. But the world just let him have an inch here and an inch there, negotiating and trying to spare themselves the dirty work of putting a stop to it until it was too late. If Hitler was stopped at the beginning it would have been a small thing compared to what WW II became.

It is the same now. We do what needs to be done now, and it's already late in the game, or we are going to be in for the fight of our lives. WW III has already begun, history will back that up. How bad will we let it get? The nations of islam need to be crushed. Get that through your head. There is no other option - it is us or them - those are their rules. They will not back down. China is watching and preparing to take advantage of our weaknesses. They have a presence in the western hemisphere (major presence in the Caribbean and Panama Canal) and now they are even putting troops here- in Haiti. It's a foot in the door. Things will not be getting better soon.

Americans seem to have a problem with cause and effect. We are not very good at looking at things a few steps ahead, but many other countries are operating that way. They are perfectly willing to take a small step and wait. Take another small step and wait some more. Like a predator stalking it's prey, they become invisable to our sense of danger. Time is on their side.

You may deny it but the further we move from our Christian roots the further we sink into this quagmire. We were still a Christian nation during WWII. We were not ashamed of God. We hadn't yet kicked God out of our schools, out of our courtrooms, out of our constitution. Not that we were perfect, just that we were much more likely to acknowledge God as our source of blessings and protection. The acknowledgement of God did not embarrass us. During WWII, our enemies came at us one way and fled before us seven ways. We won battle after incredible battle and many times when the battle could have gone either way somehow something turned in our favor. The history is there for all to see.

Now, the very idea of God is laughable to most of us. Sure, some pay lip service to God but for the most part evolution is king, God is a quaint, old fashioned idea people made up to explain what they didn't understand. We know better now. We don't need no stinkin' God. The Bible is chock full of mere fairy tales and Jewish beddy-by stories. This is taught by default in our schools. Our children have been growing up with situational ethics - no pillar of truth, no Rock to stand on - just mud and muck and quicksand. The abortion business in this country, in the world, dwarfs even the Holocost of WWII. And they offer up the still moving body parts of freshly aborted children, at a very good profit mind you, to the science-god and the earth-god. Soon too, the elderly.

God is withdrawing His protection and His blessings - which we never really deserved anyway - from this country. It is not too late, the country can repent - turn back - from the way it is headed. God would look favorably on that. Stiff-necked Israel never did repent at Gods warnings but Ninevah (a gentile nation)did when God sent Jonah to tell them they had 40 days to exist. They changed their ways - albeit temporarily - but God did not destroy them because of their repentance. I hope we can learn that lesson.

What's Wrong Now, Blogger?

I've been trying to publish this blog all day and it wouldn't publish. I tried it first on the Mac this morning - no luck. When I got home I tried it over and over - nothing. I use the FireFox web browser but I have never had any problem like this before. Eventually I tried Internet Explorer just to see if it would work and, yes, it worked. Why? I did just upgrade to FireFox 0.9.3, but that doesn't explain not working with Safari on the Mac. Whatever, I just hope it's temporary.

No Lysol Here

Michelle Malkin has got it right and pulls no punches in Remember 9-11: Stop sanitizing the killers

Dennis Prager walks a tightrope trying not to offend in They shoot children, don't they? - one of the few times he's not quite up to par. Close though.

It's time to help those who have been duped by islam to recognize it and get out, if they wish, and let the rats go down with the ship.

Beware the State-god

Judges try to snatch homeschoolers

Germans who choose to homeschool their children are coming under increasing pressure from the state with some families escaping the European Union nation to keep from having their children taken from them.

Another German homeschool family lost a recent court case when the judge ruled that the parents had no rights to have input into the manner and method of education in government schools.

This is where they want to take this country. Will you let them?

The Embodiment of Evil

An End to Terror by Ronald L. Dart

I must confess I find the whole thing hard to grasp. How can men do such a thing? How can they sit in their bunkers and deliberately plan the destruction of a great city? Do they care that children and old women will die horrible deaths in the fires they start? Does it even matter that the economy of a people can be destroyed – that people will starve because of what they have done?

Maybe they are just insane – at least that is what they said about Hitler. But if that is true, is society to bring in a verdict of “not guilty by reason of insanity”? World War II, then, was a cruel accident of nature. One man lost his mind, and the whole world went up in flames.

If only it were true. But for that verdict to be true, there had to be hundreds, even thousands, who went insane at the same time. No one man, however mad, could have accomplished such evil in the midst of a nation or a world of good people.

The truth is that Hitler and his minions were worse than insane. They were evil. They had bought into the source of evil–had become the malignant offspring of the architect of all evil.

If Hitler had merely been insane, we could hope never to see his like again. But he was not merely insane. He was the embodiment of a spiteful, evil spirit, and it is only a matter of time until we see it again in another form, another system, another beast of a man.

Islam has been and is buying into that source of evil now - the embodiment of a spiteful, evil spirit. A spiteful, jealous spirit - can you hit the nail any more squarely?

The State

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to die for His people. Expect no such sacrifice from the state-god. The government is that god, and its prime directive is to increase in power, and to defend itself against all assaults. The state, in spite of its protestations of caring, cannot love its people. The state has no heart, no soul. When someone in government speaks of compassion, keep one thing in mind. The government has only two tools to work with-law and force.

The state cannot or will not teach that some acts are intrinsically right and some are clearly wrong. Rather, acts are right or wrong as prescribed by government. And the public seems willing enough to follow the lead. The government says that abortion is not against the law, so it can't be wrong. The citizens of our beloved country are bowing down before an idol, and they don't even know it.

Don't misunderstand. Neither the president, congress, nor the courts are that idol. The government, the state-god, is our own creation. When Pilate brought Jesus before the multitude, he shouted, "Behold your king." The people cried out, "We have no king but Caesar." Yes, and no god but the state.

Excerpt from The Aborted Generation by Ronald L. Dart

He continues ...

The meetings in Cairo in September dealt once again with the idea that there are too many people on the earth and that "people spoil the environment." The earth goddess is a worthy consort to the state-god, and must be served whatever the cost to human life. The United States representatives went to that conference as missionaries for the abortion movement.

Earth First, right?

And again ...

Truth can come from surprising quarters from time to time. Not long ago, Mother Teresa warned in a speech:

"America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate of human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father's role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest gift-a child-as a competitor, and intrusion, and an inconvenience. IT has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters. And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners."

It is hard to understand at this point how "deformed" this nation has become, and even harder to imagine where it will all lead. Think of all the things the coming generation will be able to do-things that were denied to us. The coming generation, unhampered by any moral code except that of the state may be able to dispose of all the feeble, the old, the sick, the infirm, the mentally ill. Abortion will get rid of all the unwanted children, especially the crippled, the retarded, the blind. They will even be able to get rid of hyper-active children before they are born.

Think of all the savings in health care. Cost control will finally be in the grasp of government. Universal health care will be simple, because the "universe" to be covered will have been shrunk to manageable size. Perhaps the first generation to be disposed of in old age will be the generation that aborted their own children.

Will America look in the mirror and see the dirt, mud and blood on it's face and wash it clean and move on? Or continue to deny anything is wrong? I have a feeling I already know.

What Hurricane?

The power came on this morning around 4:45am and I pulled all the plants out of the garage. I haven't been anywhere but I know there has been damage in other neighborhoods. I took the boards off the front windows but I will wait on the rear windows until we see where hurricane Ivan is going. I had to pick up two branches from the lawn and I saw a dead lizard. I think he came down with one of the branches. Right now they are going crazy on the news chasing down funnel clouds and possible tornados all over central Florida. I think I'll go lay down for a little while.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth

"Matter is not intrinsically informative. To say that a human cell was built by its chemicals is like saying a book was written by its paper and ink, or that a typewriter was constructed by the iron in its frame." -- James Perloff

The First Cell - Evolved or Created?

The Material World, Non-Matter, and Information

What do Clocks and Counting Time have to do with Creation?

Logically, we are either:

1. The result of mindless, accidental evolution, or

2. The result of some kind of a creator God.

On the one hand is Evolution that says a speck of dead matter sprang into life, grew, divided, and after innumerable years evolved through a series of unguided accidents to result in the millions of species, including humans, that exist today. Evolution is now taught as proven fact and has itself taken on many aspects of being a dominant religion.

As the direct opposite to evolution is a Being writing in the Bible who claims He created not only humans but all things. This Being further claims He is the giver of life. Strong claims indeed! Unfortunately humans are not able to see this Being. What are we to do then?

There is an answer. This Being assures us that the invisible things of Him are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made (Romans 1:20). So looking in depth into some of the things around us is what the following articles will do.

Proving this Creator is fundamental for Christians. Notice Paul used creation when introducing God to the pagan philosophers at Athens. He did it again at Lycaonia. Moreover in the near future an angel is scheduled to preach the creation message to all nations and peoples . One of the major differences between Christianity and other religions is this important aspect of the creator communicating with his human creatures.

The goal of these articles is to offer some creation evidence to believers in evolution, but who are open minded enough to investigate the alternative. A secondary goal is to help reinforce the faith of those who are already Christian believers.

Perhaps the best way to add credibility to one's arguments, and to persuade others, is to use material outside of one's own persuasion. That is why about 95% of the information that follows is from the "other sides" material, from evolution supporting sources.

The more I study and look into this subject the more evidence I find against evolution - the big lie. The answer is in the creation, it's in nature, it's there for you to see - in a spider's web, a bird's nest, a bee's hive - it's in the life of every creature, in the interdependency of all life and in the building blocks that make up matter. The closer you look, the more you break it down, the more you see ... nothing. The life is in the programming, the knowledge controlling the matter. I don't take this lightly and I will not be taken in. Don't think for yourself and don't question - life spontaneously began by lightning strike in a chemical soup. Science is all the god you need. That's what they teach you. Public schools and universities are their churches. They are tearing the fabric of society. Only islam is a more destructive and insidious religion than evolution. But only because the results are more obvious. Both ideas come from the god of this world, the one who said, "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High." (Isaiah 14:13,14) - the imposter, the liar, the loser.

How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! (Isaiah14:12)

Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time. (Rev 12:12)

Seek the truth. Seek it like diamonds or gold.

For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them. (Matthew 13:15)

Why are people afraid of the truth? They avoid it like the plague. Give them lies that feel good and they love you!

Looters will be shot? Eleven Arrests For Looting, Prowling In Counties Hit By Frances

It Weakened But It Won't Go Away

The wind and rain came and went again and again. The power went off around 1am Sunday and I went to bed. It was windy and raining but not scary. I woke up to the same thing. I opened the front door and saw no major damage. There is a branch on the ground. One branch. It's not over though and although it hasn't gotten worse it is steady bad. I can hear some metal slamming around somewhere across the street but I can't see anything. Power is still off, of course, but I have an invertor connected to a spare car battery and it is running a radio, light and fan, plus charging the cell phone and flashlight. If I can find an antenna I will hook up the TV. The cable is out. The battery is lasting an amazingly long time.

I am keeping the front door open to let some cool air and light in here. The turkeys were out in the rain looking for food. They looked pathetic all wet but didn't seem to be bothered too much. The horses and cows look like nothing is going on, they're just going about their business. I haven't seen any people and I don't see any damage to my neighbors houses.

I talked to Irma and they lost power this morning after everyone showered. How convenient. They have a grill to cook on and I asked if they delivered. Not yet. James is doing fine but she said he wants to go home and he keeps asking where Daddy is. I wish they had just stayed here.

This storm wasn't as bad as Charlie was, at least not in this area. I hope they are able to restore power much faster this time. If it weren't for the power outage everything would be fine.

Find a New Religion

I have to say I agree with Daniel (language alert):

Religion of peace my aching ass. Any religion that can even remotely see in it's heart to kidnap and kill children deserves, no, needs to be wiped from the face of the earth at any cost.

If you truly are the peaceful type and are appalled at what the "sword of Islam" does (has always done, is doing, will continue to do - until they are all dead) - change your religion. Find something else. If you say your religion was hijacked or what ever, fine, let them have it and find a new one. GOD IS NOT THERE!!! HE just isn't. So it doesn't matter, you might as well draw a face on a log and pray to it because you will get the same effect. And as nice as you are, as friendly and peace loving as you may be - if you call yourself a muslim - I have to look at you like I would a guy kneeling in front of that log. I'll treat you with respect, you have your right, and I'll be nice and friendly to you, but I will - in the back of my mind - forever wonder about your sanity. God is not there.

Look at creation. Look at the world around you. Look at the heavens, the stars, the universe. How great is it? How beautiful? How wonderfully designed? Look at a tree, the leaves, the animals that live there. Look at it's place in the environment. How does it fit in, what does it do? Look at the laws of the universe - the laws of physics. There is unending beauty in all of creation, from the grandest star down to the unseen smallest parts that make up the elements. Look at a beautiful, little child. You couldn't dream up something so beautiful.

Do you really think the God that created the universe, that created human beings and the process of procreation and the human family, would want you to scare, torture, maim, or kill as many as possible in order to spread His Word. Are you kidding! God is not there! There is no god in islam! That religion is completely opposite of everything created. It is the religion in opposition to the God and Creator of the universe. I'm not saying He is a part of every other religion in the world - just that He is definitely not in islam. No way, no how. You want to kill me because I say that - you make my point.

God wants you to be free. Free to think about what you are doing and why. Free to choose His way, the way He has revealed would benefit us and allow us to live life to the fullest, or to choose our own way. He has revealed the consequences of those choices. He doesn't make us do anything. If we bring misery on ourselves and others because of our choices, so be it - it is still our choice. There is alot of that going on. Islam grabs you and forces you into a way of life. You can't think for yourself. You can't choose anything but what they say.

Two things further. Read The New Islamic Empire and read A Tale of Two Trees

Think about what you are doing and why.
This Thing is Slow

Thursday morning I went to Home Depot to get some plywood. The line was from one end of the store to the other. I waited in that line from 8:30am - in the hot sun, no shade - until 2:30pm when I finally was able to buy 10 sheets. They closed most of the store and were only selling hurricane supplies. When I got back I started installing them and worked until 7:30, getting most of it done. I had to go to work Thursday night so I took a shower and went to bed. I worked all night catching up on the audits from Aug 29 and brought them up to date. The manager came in to take care of guests or I would never have finished. The next morning I was almost unable to keep my eyes open. I fell asleep for an hour and went back out to finish the job. I got all the boards up and used a hole saw to drill some holes so I can see out and to let a little light in. very little.

I have been making spelling mistakes lately on this computer and I thought it was just because I am so tired but I just noticed in that last sentance that I am unable to type an upper case v. It won't do it. I guess I need a new keyboard. Some of the other keys are less sensitive too, I have to deliberately press them.

I went up on the roof to check it out and fixed one problem I had. It's too late for anything else now anyway. I put all the loose plants in the garage - yes, the orchid too. If I put it in the house all the bugs will come out of the pot and get in here with me. I had already cut branches from all the trees but there are a couple that I hope I am not sorry I didn't just cut them down. We'll see. The guy across the street really butchered one of his trees - it's mostly a trunk now.

I am as ready as I will ever be for this hurricane and now we are just waiting as it slows to a crawl. Irma took the kids to her sisters house (I've been abandoned!) and I'm doing this and that before I lose power. The power has gone off six or eight times already this morning for a few seconds or minutes. I cooked up some honey-barbecue chicken last night, made some whole-wheat pancakes this morning (my new favorite breakfast), boiled most of the eggs so I can eat them if the power is off, washed some clothes, washed the dishes and now I am waiting.

I'm supposed to go to work tonight but I already told them I would not drive to work in the middle of a hurricane. Now they keep pushing landfall back further and further and I hope it's not calm when it's time to go to work and impossible to get home. They want everyone off the road after 12 noon and it is getting windy now so I'm pretty sure I won't be going in anyway. I just heard them say (on Tv) not to drink too much because you will need to keep you're wits about you and I remembered when I went food shopping yesterday the guy ahead of me in line had his cart filled with cases of beer. Who needs food, right?

If anything happens I will let you know. If I can.

As I was working to board up the windows and clean up the yard for Hurricane Frances I noticed the orchid bloom had just opened. A little beauty before the chaos.

Waiting for the Inevitable

Hurricane Frances is forcast to pass right over this area. People are going nuts buying supplies and traffic is horrendous. I saw a truck pull out of Home Depot yesterday with 12 generators. Everyone is sold out of generators and the line for plywood goes across the entire store. The memories of Charlie are still fresh. You can't even call them memories yet because we still haven't recovered from that storm yet. I don't want to see this place after another major hurricane. Everybody has a huge pile of branches, logs, and uprooted trees in their front yard. Where will they end up?

We have a serious thunderstorm happening right now. I have to turn off the computer. The power is off and the UPS is operating on battery power.
