Evil Knows No Bounds

Terrorists try to recruit child as suicide bomber

Palestinian terrorists tried to recruit a 15-year-old as a suicide bomber, at one point locking him in a dark room, but also luring him with clothes, a cell phone and promises of paradise, his family said Tuesday.

The saddest thing is if they would just accept living next to Israel and live in peace their lives would be great, Israel would help them in ways unimagined. They are killing their children for hatred of Israel and Jews.

Smart Man, But Not Gonna Happen

What Joseph Farah wants to do is admirable.

Conservatives, it seems to me, only forestall the inevitable slide into tyranny. I don't want to forestall it. I want to prevent it. I want to reverse that slide. I want to restore the dream that was America.

But, America is not going to make that reversal. Human nature absolutely prevents it.

Read it here: Conservatism is not enough

What is the rotten apple? You can see it in the government schools that dumb down American kids. You can see it in the universities that pervert the concepts of knowledge and wisdom. You can see it in the federalization and militarization of law enforcement. You can see it in the proliferation of non-constitutional government. You can see it in the real "trickle-down economics" of confiscatory taxes. You can see it in the unaccountable authorities which give us global treaties. You can see it in the relentless attacks on marriage and the family. You can see it in euthanasia, population control and the phony "right" to abortion on demand. You can see it in the surrender of our national security.

Fire Ants are a Curse

Fire ants are the worst. I hate them. No matter what you do to kill them they always come back. I tried the season long poison and it works for a few months and the ants come back in the same places they were before. I don't think the stuff kills the ants, I think it just drives them underground until it wears off. But, as bad as they are outside (Did I ever say how much I hate them?) I have never had them come inside the house - ever. If I had this problem in my house I think I would put so much poison all over my house and property that nothing could live.

No, really, I hate fire ants.

A Question

At what price point will you finally say, "No, it's not worth it."

Disney hasn't been the cutting edge of anything in a long time (except separating families from their money).

I've Got an Idea

Let's terraform Mars! We've done such a great job taking care of the Earth, I mean, we can adjust this or that and we know precisely what the effect will be - heck, we got this managing thing down pat, we're ready to create an entire world. Yes, let's do it!

See the last sentance of my last post.

Great White North

Canadian Forces to 'flex muscles' in north

Canada is sending one of its largest warships, a squadron of helicopters and 200 ground troops to the high Arctic this summer in an exercise designed to show the flag -- and a little military muscle -- in the North.

Huh?

"It sends a message, first of all to the people of the North, secondly to all Canadians and certainly to whatever other countries out there may be watching that we are here and that this place is important to us," he said in a telephone interview from his headquarters in Yellowknife. "This is an attempt to demonstrate that we are here and we are paying attention to what happens in the North."

Hey, they're trying!

Canada has launched a five-year plan to increase its military presence throughout its uninhabited Arctic territory, including satellite surveillance and far-reaching patrols of soldiers riding snowmobiles.

To the rear! March!

The world is going insane.

Can You Imagine?

Hamas Plots Knockout Blow with 800 Suicide Bombers

Can you imagine the reaction of Israel if the Palestinians Arabs living in Palestine actually did this? Israel is not really fighting them now. They are trying to deal the insanity with both hands tied behind their back. Everyone has a breaking point and if the Arabs ever reach Israel's breaking point it would mean the plug has finally been pulled at the bottom of the cesspool this world is floating in. I can't see the whole world standing by and watching Israel give the Arabs what they so richly deserve. Especially if Al-Queda suceeds in the overthrow of Musharraf in Pakistan. That would mean Al-Queda controls very powerful nuclear bombs and there is no reason to believe they would not use them. And mind you, they (other Arabs) would have no qualms what-so-ever in eliminating all the Arabs in Palestine in the attacks, they are and always have been completely expendable.

Something Strange About This Story

20 attacked by vampire bats

AT least 20 people were attacked and bitten by vampire bats as they returned home from work in the jungle community of Mansiche, Peru, a top official at the Ministry of Health said.

Vampire bats are not the evil creatures their name conjures up in your mind. They creep up to sleeping animals, make a small cut with their teeth and lap up the blood as it drips out. There have been cases of a vampire bat feeding from the leg or foot of a sleeping human but it is nothing more than a small cut. The body of the bat is about the size of your thumb, that's smaller than a mouse. There is more to the story they are not telling you.

Why is Brazil So Contrarian?

"Brazil has never had hurricanes and it is not having one now," she said, explaining the eye of a hurricane was hotter than its edges, while the center of an extratropical cyclone, which forms above colder waters, was cold.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami obviously doesn't know what it's talking about.

The Sabbath

Sunday, holy Sunday?

A. Jan Marcussen, a Seventh-day Adventist pastor in Illinois, is starting with $50,000 of his own money if someone can produce "a verse from the Holy Bible showing that God commands us to keep holy the first day of the week" – Sunday – "instead of the seventh day" – Saturday – "as is commanded in the Bible."

He says the reward will increase in $25,000 increments each week for 40 consecutive weeks if no one sends him such a verse, with a final cap at $1 million.

"The $50,000 offer is to wake people up out of a stupor," Marcussen tells WorldNetDaily. "People wake up when there's money involved."

He has no chance of losing his money. The change from the 7th day Sabbath to the 1st day (Sunday) observance is not in the bible.

"Millions of people believe and have confidence in their clergy that what they're being taught is true," says Marcussen. "They'll find out that the clergy is not teaching from the Bible."

"The church always met on Sunday throughout the New Testament," says Rev. Jerry Falwell, chancellor of Liberty University in Virginia. " That's completely untrue! Saturday is clearly the Sabbath as is recorded many times in the Old Testament. And new! In Christian Church tradition, Sunday became 'the Lord's Day' when Jesus rose from the grave."

Falwell is among those who believe which day is chosen is not of great significance. "I don't think Saturday or Sunday are more sacred than other days," he says.

God begs to differ with Mr. Falwell:

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made. And He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He had rested from all His work which God created to make. Genesis 2:1-2

"It may be that Sunday was originally one of the [pagan] Roman festival days," explains Professor Efird at Duke, "but so were several others that the church adopted in its evolution, [for example:] Christmas."

So, logically, If Christmas and Easter are of pagan origin, that makes it OK for a pagan day to be observed in place of the Sabbath. Again, God says otherwise:

take heed to yourself that you do not become snared by following them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not ask about their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods, that I too may do likewise?

You shall not do so to Jehovah your God. For every abomination to Jehovah, which He hates, they have done to their gods; even their sons and their daughters they have burned in the fire to their gods.

All the things I command you, be careful to do it. You shall not add to it, nor take away from it. Deuteronomy 12:30-32

Why Keep Saturday For Sunday?

Fishing Was Not Good

I took the kids fishing today because I'm off tonight. It was a bad day to fish. It was so windy, the lake had whitecaps. I took them to a small pond instead but it was stocked with tilapia and I couldn't get them to bite worms or lures. They had some fun though. I will try another day.

A Hurricane Near Southern Brazil?

This is strange. It doesn't say how strong it is. I wonder if they flew a hurricane hunter aircraft through it? Probably not, it's kind of far. Of course, it's spinning in the opposite direction too.

Life in the United Kingdom

You are in your own home, minding your own business and 4 guys break in with a gun to rob you. Afraid for your life you grab a samarai sword you have and stab the guy with the gun. He dies and you are the one who goes to jail - for 8 years.

What's wrong with that picture? Why would you want to live where you can't, by law, fight back against criminals in your own home? That's insane.
Fishing Practice

I got the fishing rods out today and put some practice plugs on them so the kids could practice casting. Joshua had a spinning reel and did good but eventually got it stuck (accidently, yeah right) on the roof. James got the spincast reel and he did amazing considering he's only 4 and never touched a pole before in his life. After I showed him how it worked he was casting way out there and only messed up a few times. I think they're ready.

I Like Goat's Milk Soap

Irma's mother brought some goat's milk soap when she came from Puerto Rico. I thought it was strange, but I used it when I ran out of my other soap and now I don't want to use any other soap. It's not harsh at all, it doesn't dry your skin, no perfume - it's just nice. The problem is, it's not readily available here and I'm almost out. I have to check the Spanish grocery stores. Or buy a goat.

They Want to Go Fishing

Joshua has spring break this week and he and James want me to take them fishing. I want to, I really do. I just can't get motivated to go out this week. I have to get a license too. Can any fisherman out there imagine living in central Florida and not going fishing? What a waste. I'll take them. Really.
Fireball in the Sky

Fireball streaks across Prairies

I saw one of those a long time ago in New Jersey (just a guess, but maybe 12 years old). I was walking home at night from a friends house and it came almost directly overhead from east to west. It was fast, made a roaring sound and seemed so close. I watched it go to the horizon and ran all the way home.

Jobs and Healthcare

If there's a nuclear explosion in the United States you can say goodbye to your jobs and healthcare. How many people lost jobs after 911? What happened to the stock market? How long did the recovery take? How much is the price of gas now? That wasn't caused directly by 911 but as a result of our actions afterward. What do you think our reaction will be after a nuclear attack? The same as Spain's reaction? I don't think so. That would be like jumping in the Amazon River after a gunshot. The piranhas would be all over us. Islamic countries will not be selling us oil.

And like on the African plain, the weak or injured are attacked and killed off by animals that wouldn't have bothered them otherwise. We have no friends in this jungle, our alliances and treaties will count for nothing. Bet on it. Better yet, don't let it get to that point. Our friends will be there only as long as we have the power and the money. The stronger they get (or weaker we get) the less need or use they have for us. That's the world we live in, no matter what your hallucinations lead you to believe.

That's what I think. I also think we will, unfortunately, go through the experience of just such an attack.

Sharon Opened The Gates of Hell

He opened the gates, threw in a couple of missles, killed a Hamas spiritual leader and closed them again. Palestinians are crying foul. Sharon broke Palestinian rule #2: Palestinians can kill as many Jews as they want, young or old, but Israelis are not allowed to kill any Palestinians. The penalty is that the Palestinians get to hate Jews even more (oh, joy!) and kill even more of them. Rule #1 of course, is: Israel doesn't exist. Never has, it was all a fairy tale.

Good For a Laugh

I got a good laugh checking out these pictures from the Mar. 20 anti-war rally in San Francisco. Definitely worth a look.

The Death of Europe in its Present Form is a Given

So says Mark Steyn

And I agree, but the new Europe will be more lethal.

Surely as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so you have dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, says Jehovah.

A voice was heard on the high places weeping, cryings of the sons of Israel; for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten Jehovah their God.

Return, O backsliding sons, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come to You; for You are Jehovah our God.

Truly, for delusion comes from the high hills, tumult on the mountains. Truly, in Jehovah our God is the salvation of Israel. Jeremiah 3:20-23

House of Israel or house of Jacob = America and United Kingdom

When the modern nation of Israel is referred to it is called the house of Judah.

Hills and mountains = other countries

We trust in alliances and treaties and have forgotten God, even denying His existance. This is what God calls, in prophecy, whoredoms.

For You have forsaken Your people the house of Jacob, because they have become full from the east, and are fortune-tellers like the Philistines. And they clap their hands with the children of strangers.

And their land is full of silver and gold. There is no end of their treasures and their land is full of horses; nor an end of their chariots.

And their land is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.

And the man bowed down, and man was humbled, but You do not lift them up.

Enter into the rock and hide in the dust for fear of Jehovah, and for the glory of His majesty.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the pride of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.

For the day of Jehovah of Hosts shall be on every proud and lofty one, and on every lifted up one; and he shall be brought low, Isaiah 2: 6-12

The Pope and Europe

German President gives Pope credit for reunification

"Meeting with Pope John Paul II on Saturday, German President Johannes Rau gave the Holy Father credit for the reunification of his country.

"Germany owes her unity to Poland and to the action of the Pope, without which she would still have a long road to go toward reunification," Rau said.

For his part, the Pope said the most powerful element of European unity is the Christian cultural heritage that the countries share. He suggested Germany could serve as a model for the future of a united Europe, since "Germany is rich in signs for the Christian faith, which still today permeates the lives of many people."

The Vatican has been arguing for an explicit recognition of Christianity in the new European constitution. Rau, who was among the first prominent European leaders to advance the idea of a European constitution, is now hoping to break an impasse over the wording of the document."

You Can't Play War

Some people think the world should be a safer place to live in now that we have started a war on terrorism. They say every time there is another act of terrorism it is proof we are doing the wrong thing. Every time a bomb goes off, such as the one today in Baghdad or the bombs in Spain, it's because of the war and they blame the United States (Bush specifically) for the deaths.

That idea is ludicrous. Once we made the decision to fight back (for real) , you have to know that the terrorists will not just give up and go away but as long as they believe they have a chance to win they will fight back. That's what war is. You have to expect that there will be an increase in attacks. They will try everything they can. If we give up when they dare fight back, they win. They will continue to attack until they acheive their goals (the fall of western civilization). We have to continue the fight until they can't take it any longer, until they can no longer do any more damage to us (they're dead). That is the only way to stop it. When you start a war (and we didn't start this one, we got to the point where we can no longer ignore it), the casualties increase on both sides and there will continue to be casualties on both sides until they can no longer fight back. That may take a while. It's something we just have to know and accept. No sane person wants this war, but it's a war that must be fought if we are to continue our way of life, our republic, and if we want to continue to be free to choose the direction our lives take. I know I do. I don't think any clear thinking person can walk away from this fight. To do so would mean your (and your children's) death.

To say Iraq has nothing to do with this war is also ridiculous. Before it's all over, unfortunately, other Middle Eastern countries may also have to fall. That's their decision. Some of them won't make the right one.

But, That Can't Be

France Says It Received Threat by Islamist Group

How can that be if appeasement works? They were against everything the United States did.

Security experts say France is a target because of its cooperation with authorities fighting Islamic militants in its former North African colonies Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco

Oh yeah, that must be it. Better pull your troops out of Africa. In fact, why not just head off all attacks altogether. Just hand the country over to the nearest Imam.
This Really Isn't Funny

But ... A man tried to commit suicide in Maine by crucifying himself in his living room. He attached a suicide sign to the cross and nailed one of his hands to the cross with a 14 penny nail and hammer. Then ... wait for it ...

"When he realized that he was unable to nail his other hand to the board, he called 911,"

Forgive me, but that part is funny. I hope he gets the help he needs.
Hasta la Vista, Baby

Open letter to the people of Spain

The message you sent to al-Qaida yesterday was clear: "Please don't threaten us; please don't kill our people; we'll do what you want us to do."

Why are you allowing the terrorists to intimidate you now? Why do you let them win?

What happened?

I leave you now with the words "Hasta la Vista." Call us when you need us. You will be calling – your actions in response to the Madrid terrorism attack guaranteed it. And when you call us, we will come and help. Even if al-Qaida threatens us and attacks us. We don't let fear cower us into appeasement or surrender. That's the kind of people we are.

At least 50% of us anyway.

My Heart Bleeds

Here's something from Dennis Prager because I like his writing and this especially so.

It's the heart vs. the Bible

The eyes and the heart form an extraordinarily powerful force. They can only be overcome when formulating policies by a mind and a value system that are stronger than the heart-eye duo.

With the decline of Judeo-Christian religions, the heart, shaped by what the eye sees (hence the power of television), has become the source of people's moral decisions.

This is a potentially fatal problem for our civilization. As beautiful as the heart might be, it is neither intellectually nor morally profound.

It is therefore frightening that hundreds of millions of people find no problem in acknowledging that their heart is the source of their values. Their heart knows better than thousands of years of accumulated wisdom; better than religions shaped by most of the finest thinkers of our civilization (and, to the believer, by God); and better than the book that has guided our society – from the Founders of our uniquely successful society to the foes of slavery to the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and most of the leaders of the struggle for racial equality.

This elevation of one's heart is well beyond self-confidence – it is self-deification.

One of the first things you learn in Judaism and Christianity is that the eyes and heart are usually terrible guides to the good and the holy. "... [D]o not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after" (Numbers 15:39); "the heart is deceitful above all things ..." (Jeremiah 17:9).

There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. - Proverbs 14:29

It is undeniable that many people have used their minds and many have used the Bible in ways that have led to evil. And some of these people have been truly heartless. But not one of the great cruelties of the 20th century – the Gulag, Auschwitz, Cambodia, North Korea, Mao's Cultural Revolution – came from those who took their values from the Bible. And the great evil of the 21st century, though religion-based, doesn't come from the Bible either.

Meanwhile, the combination of mind, Judeo-Christian values and heart has produced over centuries the unique success known as America. Reliance on the heart will destroy this painstaking achievement in a generation.

"How the Khilafah will be restored and man-made law destroyed"

I know there are way too many Americans who don't take this seriously, even among those who support the war on terror. They just don't believe the terrorists mean what they say.

British jihadist depicts U.S. Capitol in flames: Sheikh who operates openly around world supports al-Qaida.

Bakri has boasted openly about exploiting the freedom of speech in the West as a weapon against it - to "transform the West into Dar Al-Islam," or House of Islam.

"I want to see the black flag of Islam flying over Downing Street," he has said.

Al-Muhajiroun has chapters all over the world - including the United States. It actively supports the ideology of Osama bin Laden and Bakri has long been suspected of having ties to al-Qaida.

According to Sheik Omar, Muslims in the West have very serious responsibilities in preparing the people to embrace Islam or to accept the Islamic way of life.
Not me , baby!

Al-Muhajiroun calls for Muslims in the West to "be the front line of the coming Khilafah ... to become strong and united in order to become the fifth column, which is able to put pressure on the enemies of Islam and to be able to support the Muslim Ummah worldwide." The organization believes that "bonding the Muslim community in the West with the Muslims globally" is the secret to setting off a "worldwide Islamic revolution."

Bakri has said the West is guilty of imposing "man-made law" on Muslims, but that a "[future] Islamic regime will impose Islamic religious rulings on them."

The Syrian-born Bakri also said, "Islam defended the religion of the Christians, the Jews, and others, and stated that 'there is no coercion in religion.' But the coercion is in the laws. Laws can be Islamic-religious and they can be man-made."
Oh yeah, wouldn't you want to be a Christian or Jew in Syria or Iran or Egypt or parts of Africa or ... name a Muslim state. How comforting.

"Allah willing, we will transform the West into Dar Al-Islam [that is, a region under Islamic rule] by means of invasion without," said Bakri. "If an Islamic state arises and invades [the West] we will be its army and its soldiers from within. If not, [we will change the West] through ideological invasion - without war and killing."

Oh, by the way, on his website you'll find this:

The obligation of inciting religious hatred

This Saturday's LIVE talk on Paltalk will discuss one of the greatest
forgotten obligations in Islaam - Inciting religious hatred. Allaah (swt)
orders the believers to hate all other religions, way of lives, creeds,
doctrines and beliefs that contradict with Islaam, and one cannot be
Muslim without to declare animosity and hatred towards kufr, bid'ah,
shirk and nifaaq (Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism,
Buddhism, Democracy, Freedom etc.)
.

So obviously, what he said about "no coercion in religion" is a lie - surprise! Just keep believing this is all just a game. Just political propaganda. President Bush made it all up. The United States of America can never be defeated and will always exist. Just keep watching Brittany and Oprah and As the World Turns. Nothing bad is ever going to happen as long as we don't make them mad, so just vote for John sKerry, get rid of Bush. All hail socialism.

Me, I know better. This "problem" won't just go away. We'll keep playing along until we really get hurt. I truly believe we will be hit hardest financially at first, crippling our economy (for real, not the Bush's terrible economy crap the Democrats tell you about), and the worlds. A superpower will rise out of Europe, another dictatorship, out of the ashes of socialism. They will sweep down into the Middle East and the real bombs will start falling. China and Russia will join in on the fun too. It will all start suddenly, like a dam breaking. This will not go away as you hope. Muslim countries have atomic weapons now and they are obligated to use them to spread Islam. Religions are very dangerous - more blood has been spilled in the name of this or that god than for any other reason.

The real God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who stays out of our lives now - just as we want (yes, Jews and Christians too, churches and synogogues notwithstanding) - is poised to save us from ourselves at the last moment and, yes, against our will (of course, why change now).

And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent being called devil, and, Satan; he deceiving the whole habitable world was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12:9

For they are spirits of demons doing signs, which go forth to the kings of the earth, even of the whole habitable world to assemble them to the war of that day, the great day of God Almighty. Revelation 16:14

It doesn't matter if you believe it or not and I'm not trying to convince anyone. A few believe, most will laugh. That's OK. But you will watch this happen before your very eyes, and perhaps some will repent before God takes away His light for the final hours.

Now, if you don't believe the Bible and that's fine, I understand and I have been there, then it is even more important that you take a stand and put these terrorists out of commision once and for all - and quickly. Ignoring or appeasing them will mean the destruction of the United States and you can bet on that. I know that is hard to grasp for some people. Here we are in the age of enlightenment, the United States is the strongest and most productive nation on Earth, nothing could possibly change that. For all the enlightened and deep thinking liberals aspouse, they sure can be dumb as rocks sometimes. There was a time when someone just like you, with a house and 3 kids, a job, friends, hobbies - everything we have now but with the inventions of a different time - would be talking amongst themselves and it would be completely beyond their imagination that their nation, the Roman Empire (for instance) would ever not exist. The Roman Empire, defeated, don't make me laugh. Now, everything they ever knew is long gone. Nations come and nations go and the United states is no different. If you want to keep it you have to fight for it. If you don't someone else will take it away from you. And that's the truth.

Open up, It's the Police

A police officer pulled up outside the office last night. I let him in and he said he wanted to ask me some questions about a possible guest. He gave me a name to check and they were not registered. He said a car would be pulling up and asked if I recognized the occupants. Yes, it was a couple of middle aged women who stopped to ask for directions to a hotel about two hours earlier. I thought they were strange because they didn't know anything about the hotel they were staying at, they couldn't even describe what was nearby. I tried to narrow it down for them and asked if the hotel was across the street from a sky coaster ride. They hesitated, then said yes, so I told them how to get there. The officer pulled them over pulling out of a 7-11 with their lights off. Apparently, I didn't get the right hotel. I called all the hotels by the name they gave me until I found theirs - they were not even close. After they left I talked to the officer for a few minutes. He thought they might have been up to something and was amazed to hear they have been lost for so long. I said they looked pretty harmless to me and he gave me a funny look and shook his head - I guess he knows better.

Spain Elects Socialists After the Terrorist Bombings

I'm trying to imagine this. After another terrorist attack here in the states, the country elects Democrats back in office and demands we stop fighting back - appease the terrorists. Spain basically threw up the white flag. Are they nuts? Whenever you give in to terrorism you embolden them. I really hope it never comes to that here. This country would finally, truly have something to be ashamed of. I would rather go down in flames fighting than put my tail between my legs and bow to their false god - that will not happen, ever.

If it is so that our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, then He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods nor worship the golden image which you have set up. Daniel 3:17-18

Now go, write it before them in a tablet, and note it in a book, so that it may be for the time to come forever and ever,

that this is a rebellious people, lying sons. They are sons who will not hear the Law of Jehovah;

who say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Do not prophesy to us right things, speak to us smooth things, prophesy falsehood;

go out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

Therefore so says the Holy One of Israel, Because you have despised this Word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rest on them;

therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant.

And He shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces. He shall have no pity, so that there shall not be found in the breaking of it a shard to take fire from the hearth, or to take water out of the pit.

For so says the Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest you shall be saved; and in quietness and hope shall be your strength. And you were not willing.

But you said, No; for we will flee on a horse. Therefore you shall flee. And you said, We will ride on the swift; therefore those who pursue you shall be swift.

One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five you shall flee, until you are left as a pole on the top of a mountain, and as a sign on a hill.

And so Jehovah waits to be gracious to you. And therefore He is exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For Jehovah is a God of judgment; blessed are all those who wait for Him.

Isaiah 30:8-18

Friday, March 12, 2004

And Jehovah said, Because this people draw near Me with their mouth, and with their lips honor Me, but have removed their heart far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the command of men;

therefore, behold, I will go on doing among this people, a wonder, even a wonder. For the wisdom of their wise ones shall perish, and the understanding of their intelligent ones shall be hidden.

Woe to those who go deep to hide their purpose from Jehovah! And their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? And who knows us?

O your perversity! Shall the former be counted as the potter's clay; for shall the work say of him who made it, He did not make me? Or shall the thing formed say to him who formed it, He had no understanding?

Isaiah 29:13-16

In the Power of Their Hand

Neal Boortz is one of the few who regularly rail against the powers of government taking private property from citizens, so that they will get more profit through higher taxes from another use of the land. Friday's Nealz Nuze was no different:

"I ask you today to consider a time in America when there will be no such thing as the private ownership of real estate; where the American dream of home ownership will belong to a past era. Instead of title to a parcel of real property, you'll get a license to occupy that property for a determined period of time. That license will be issued by the government, and subject to renewal on a periodic basis. Renewal will be considered based on several factors, including how you are using that land, and whether or not the license fees you pay for that usage is adequate.

Some areas of this country are closer to this reality than others. Take Connecticut, for instance. The Connecticut Supreme Court recently ruled that private ownership of land was subject to the needs of local jurisdictions for more tax revenue or a wider jobs base. If your friendly local politicians in Connecticut think that someone else could redevelop your property in such a way that it would support higher property taxes, or provide more jobs for the community, then the politicians can simply step in, seize the property, pay the current "owner" some stipend, and hand the property over to a new owner. That includes private residences.

As this attack on private property evolves in America you'll hear politicians start to talk about "public ownership of all real estate." That's the argument they use today for denying to broadcasters their private property rights in and to broadcast frequencies. Scarcity in the broadcast spectrum is used as an excuse. Scarcity? Technology is expanding available broadcast frequencies at a rapid rate. Not so for real estate. They really aren't making any more of that stuff. If you want to use scarcity as an excuse for government control, what better place than real estate?

Attacks on the private ownership of real estate are spreading. Enjoy your home while you can. Somewhere out there is a sharp developer who has his eye on your property .. and a case to make before your local politicians that he can do a better job of owning your property than you can. "

It is a despicable practice and is just another sign among many that this once great country is nearing it's end. God has something to say about it too.

Woe to those who plot wickedness and prepare evil on their beds! When the morning is light they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.

And they covet and seize fields; and houses, and take them away. And they oppress a man and his household, even a man and his inheritance.

So Jehovah says this: Behold, against this family I am plotting an evil from which you shall not remove your necks; nor shall you go proudly, but it is an evil time.
Micah 2:1-3

Is This the Making of a New Movie?

Sea Lion Grabs Fisherman Off Boat

"The sea lion was just swimming around the boat like they do always when the boats are delivering fish,'' Ray Sr. said. And just like that, the creature - estimated about 12 feet long and between 1,200 and 1,500 pounds - leaped a half dozen or more feet out of the water and grabbed his son.

"He went over like a rag doll,'' the father told the Anchorage Daily News. "The only thing I was thinking is, that sea lion was taking off with my boy, and I'll never see him again.''

The ending is happier then you might imagine. And no, it doesn't end with the sea lion exploding.

OK, so it's not a sea lion, and the guy's not on a boat, but you can just imagine.

Finished the Car

NAPA (actually Henry's Machine Shop) did a great job on the rotors. I picked up some Bendix Ceramic brake pads and the installation went fast. They are high quality break pads and the car never stopped so well. Irma noticed the difference immediately. Now I'm beat, it's been a long day. I get to sleep tonight.

I've been watching and listening to various talk show and news programs talking about John Kerry refusing to apologize to President Bush and, in fact, reinforcing what he said. All I can say is the division of this country is only going to get worse. How anyone can actually want him to be President is completely beyond me. I can't see it. It's as if those people are on a totally different planet. Pluto, or something.

We Had A Good Morning

I had to take Irma to work today so I could change the front brake pads on her car. On the way back James and I stopped at the park at Lake Toho. They are doing a drawdown and the water level is very low. We walked around the shore a bit until James noticed the playground, then he took off at high speed straight for it. He played for about an hour or so with some other, smaller kids and had lots of fun. He didn't want to go home. Unfortunately, we had to. Driving along the shore I noticed an alligator swimming close to shore. We stopped and looked for a few minutes. It wasn't too close, we were in no danger, but it's highly unusual to see them in this area during the day. We got back in the car and at the north end I saw another, larger gator. We stopped again and watched it for a while. It looked to be around 10 feet long and people were fishing on the pier very close to it. It must be because of the low water that the gators are so visable now. They usually shy away from any human activity.

We got home and I took her brakes apart. I took the rotors to Advance Discount Auto Parts only to find out they no longer turn rotors. Hmmm. That means I didn't buy the other parts I needed from them either. Their loss. I took them to NAPA instead. NAPA is good but the machine shop at this location is incredibly messy. They have car parts laying all over the place and you can hardly move in there. They would have them done in an hour and a half. I'm waiting now.

Say It Isn't So

'Scary John Kerry' lying to Americans?

Canada - a Socialists Paradise

Canadian Official: Human Remains May Be in Meat

"Human remains may have been in meat processed for human consumption at a pig farm that has been the site of an extensive investigation into Canada's worst serial killing case, British Columbia's provincial health officer said Wednesday."

Wait a minute. A serial killer? In Canada? That can't be true, Canada has outlawed guns. How did he kill them, with a knife? How barbaric!

"Many of the victims vanished from Vancouver's drug-infested downtown eastside. In all, 31 women have been confirmed dead in the case."

What are you talking about? Vancouver has a drug-infested section? How could that be? Everyone in Canada should be naturally high from the good fortune of living under a wonderful socialist government that takes care of their every need. Who would want to escape that?

"When asked if cross-contamination meant human remains found their way into meat processed at the farm, Kendall said: "It's very disturbing to think about, but (there is) the possibility of some cross-contamination. But the degree of it or when or how much we really don't know."

Now that's just disgusting.

Speaking of Knives

After banning guns didn't have quite the effect they thought it would (people are so inventive), the all-knowing psychotic socialist government in Victoria is now banning swords, knives, and other weapons.

"From July 1, swords will be made prohibited weapons, making it illegal to use, possess or carry a sword."

Also, in the Autumn 2000 session of Parliament, new legislation was passed to restrict the sale and possession of knives and other weapons.

The next step is banning rocks and prohibiting clenched fists, or perhaps banning hands altogether as they could be used to strangle someone. If you cut the hands off when the baby tissue is still in the womb ...

They Want RU-486 Available Over-the-Counter

Swedish Woman Dies of Abortion Drug RU-486

"The woman, over seven weeks pregnant, reportedly chose to have an RU 486 abortion. One week after meeting with the gynecologist, she returned to the hospital to take three 200 mg Mifegyne pills. Two days later she returned and received two 0,2 mg pills of Cytotec (Misoprostol).

The government report indicates she was administered the drugs at 8:25 am. She was reported to have been very tired, felt sick and slept most of the time. Bleeding started in the afternoon at 3 pm and the patient received pain medication. At 4:30 pm the patient was able to return home after a "big blob" had "come out". A follow-up visit for one month later was scheduled as she left the hospital.

Two days later a nurse tried to contact the woman by phone, but failed. Six days later, the woman was found dead in her home. The country coroner's report concluded that she had died as a result of blood loss following a chemically induced abortion. The government report said, "A young woman bled to death as a direct consequence of the treatment."

The abortion pill has been the cause of numerous deaths around the world. Legalized in the United States in September 2000 the pill has been responsible for the deaths of at least four women in North America, most recently 18-year-old Holly Patterson. In 5-8 percent of cases, RU-486 causes severe complications. Danco, the drug's manufacturer, has reported at least 400 adverse events since RU-486 was approved in the U.S."

But it would be so convenient, that's an acceptable loss. Just think of all the babies fetal tissue we could kill save from having to live a miserable life under President election stealing liar Bush.

What Was She Thinking?

Gator Goes for Ride on Fla. School Bus

The alligator was spotted as it crossed the road in front of the bus, said passenger Wilfredo Santiago, 14, who asked the driver to stop.

At first she refused, but a group of boys talked her into letting them off about 40 miles northeast of Tampa. Four boys ran off the bus, found the alligator hiding in a hole and used sticks to prod the animal out. A fifth student gave them a roll of electrical tape from the bus to bind the alligator's jaws.

The gator was hauled onto the bus and off again at the home of two boys. Their father Jimmy Scroggins came home to find a crowd of kids around the calm alligator.

Why would she let kids get off a school bus, catch an alligator and bring it on board? Especially considering it's illegal to mess with gators.

I'm a Servant

James spilled a little orange juice on the kitchen floor and started walking off. I told him, "Get over here and clean that up, what do I look like?" His response? "A servant." A servant? Where did he learn that from? We had a good laugh - then he cleaned the mess. I'm not his servant.

Welcome to the Jungle

Birdwatchers from all over Britain who gathered in Grimsby to catch sight of a rare American robin were horrified to see her eaten by a passing sparrowhawk.

This is Your Brain on Drugs

This woman tried to buy $1671.55 in merchandise at Walmart with a One Million Dollar bill.
Martha, Martha, Martha

I'm not a big Martha Stewart fan and I've wished The Food Network would stop running her program before any of this ever happened because it doesn't quite fit in. But I have to agree with Joseph Farah on this one: Free Martha Stewart. There are far worse white collar criminals out there (and in the government) - free, fat and happy - get them first.

Outside the courtroom, U.S. Attorney David Kelley said all Americans were victims of Stewart because lies to investigators weaken the nation's law enforcement system.

I hope he was joking. We have judges in this country making up laws. We have judges enforcing unconstitutional orders. We have government officials breaking the law with impunity. Chaos is reigning in the streets of America because of government law-breaking, lies and deceit. So, to set an example, a government prosecutor pursues – at a cost of over $10 million to the taxpayers – this nothing case against Martha Stewart to plaudits of those who relish class warfare.

"When we first indicted this case, we said it was about lies, all about lies," Kelley said. "As you saw in the evidence, that's what it was."

Yes, that's all it was.

Now, I don't like liars, but let's face it: Nobody lies nearly as much as government officials. They lie. They steal. They defraud the American public on a daily basis. Lying to them shouldn't be a crime, it should be a constitutional requirement.

Dennis Prager

Dennis Prager wrote San Francisco and the Islamists: Fighting the same enemy, in which he states that America is under attack from within (secular extremism) and from without (Islamic extremism). Very true. Different enemies, different tactics and different aims, ultimately, but both want to overthrow the Judeo-Christian culture.

He had to defend his position in a second column: Who supports same-sex marriage?. Both are worth a read.

"So, for the record, I consider the great majority of supporters of same-sex marriage to be thoroughly decent people, and the great majority of supporters of Islamic terror to be loathsome.

But the fact that most supporters of same-sex marriage are thoroughly decent people with loving intentions, as opposed to supporters of Islamic terror who are filled with hate and love death, in no way denies my premise that both are waging war against Judeo-Christian civilization. And that was the subject of my article.

Any further insinuation that I morally equate the people who support same-sex marriage with those who engage in or support Muslim terror is either deliberate distortion or an indication of an inability to think critically."

Fruitcakes

Here's a must-read article by Mark Steyn: Beware of the fruitcakes in government.

"Well, I'm a conservative, and I don't need any qualifying adjectives. My objection isn't to the deficit, it's to the big wasteful government programmes that lead to the deficit. If the Dems wanted to balance the budget by cutting the spending, I'd be the first to dance up and down shaking my pom-poms. But they don't. They want to balance the budget by raising taxes, which is no help either way. I think deficits are morally neutral. If I go to the bank and ask them for a loan to buy a house, they'll look kindly on me. If I ask for a loan because I fancy a three-in-a-bed sex romp with two high-class hookers, they'll suggest I wait till I get my Christmas bonus. The portion of the deficit caused by Iraqi reconstruction is analogous to the house loan. Most of the rest - Bush's prescription drug plan for pampered seniors, the mohair subsidy, funding for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland - is analogous to the hooker blow-out. This spending has no plausible claim on the Federal Treasury: it would be objectionable even if Bill Gates personally wrote a cheque to cover the entire deficit. It's the expansion of the state that's wrong. The funding of it is secondary.

Which brings us to foreign policy. This last week has offered studies in two approaches to nation building. In Iraq, an interim constitution was signed yesterday. It's not perfect, though it's a good deal less imperfect than the European constitution and for the Middle East it's a remarkable document. But it's amazing to me the way the western media interpret disagreements as a bad sign. Wouldn't it be a worse sign if there were no disagreements? If Bush just faxed over the final draft and everyone signed it? The haggling and the stalemates and the trade-offs are the healthy sign.

By comparison, consider Haiti. John Kerry, in quite the most stupid observation of his campaign, insisted that Bush should have sent in the troops to Haiti to prop up President Aristide - or "Father Aristide", as Kerry likes to call him, defrocking notwithstanding - because the Holy Father was "democratically elected". After a fashion. But so what? Charles Taylor, the recently retired head wacko of Liberia, was also democratically elected. The tinpot thugs of the world have got very good at being just democratic enough to pass muster: they kill a lot of people, they hold an election for the benefit of the IMF, and then, when the international observers are gone, they pick up the machetes and resume where they left off. The problem in Haiti is that the necessary conditions for civil society don't exist. Fetishising Aristide's "election" appeals to Kerry's reflexive belief that government is the be all and end all. But it isn't."

It was a pleasant surprise to run across this article.

Aristide Defiant, to Sue US, France, Over Kidnapping

Fly him back to Haiti, bring him to his office, get back on the plane and leave. No problem.

Are U.S. senators real 'inside traders'? Study shows stock portfolios outperform market by 12%

"The results clearly support the notion that members of the Senate trade with a substantial informational advantage over ordinary investors," said Alan Ziobrowski of the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, who wrote the report.

"The results suggest senators knew when to buy their common stocks and when to sell," concluded Ziobrowski.

A separate study in 2000, covering 66,465 U.S. households from 1991 to 1996 showed the average household's portfolio underperformed the market by 1.44 percent a year.

Corporate insiders (defined as senior executives) usually outperform by about 5 percent.

Thus, it would seem the real insiders are elected officials who not only have access to information that could impact companies, but also the ability to shape that information.

How do you like that? U.S. Senators outperform corporate insiders by more than double. But...

But don't try to emulate your senator's stock transactions for your own advantage. Under their own rules, they are not required to disclose their transactions until the middle of the following year. So, therefore, there's no way you can mimic what they're doing.

Take that, America.

This Is Outrageous

Women forced to have abortions?

According to RPI, William P. Egherman, who has performed more than 10,000 abortions and been addicted to alcohol and opiates, began the procedure by attempting to dilate the woman's cervix.

But the woman had a change of heart.

"My God, you're hurting me" the woman began to scream. "You're killing me, I'll never be able to have babies. ... Stop!"

But Egherman ignored the pleas and screams and called for assistance from clinic workers who held the woman down as he continued to dilate her cervix.

Then he entered the victim with a pair of forceps -- "the bear" Ehgerman called them -- and began probing and pulling. He mistakenly pulled out part of the woman's intestines.

Sapp, who represented the woman, said she described it as like being drawn and quartered.

When he realized what he had done, Egherman heavily sedated the woman then he called for an ambulance.

But he instructed the ambulance to come slowly, without lights or sirens, to give him "time to pack the woman with gauze."

Egherman said he also was worried his regular flow of business would be interrupted by "all the hoopla."

"Saturday's our big day," he explained, "and I didn't want to generate … any more confusion, any more panic than was already present at the time. She was loud, and as I said, she was shrill, and there were a lot of patients who were hearing what was going on, and the normal rhythm of the day was interrupted. The other patients must have been terrified, and I didn't want the ambulance showing up with all the lights and sirens. …"

I thought "no" meant "no."

In Conclusion

There were alot of interesting things in the news tonight. Things have been slow and boring (to me) lately. James was out playing in the dirt again Monday (don't tell Irma), it seems to be his favorite thing to do. He plays with his cars and plastic animals and stays there quietly for a long time. He left them out there and remembered when it was getting dark. I went out with him to pick them up and on the way back we heard the bulls bellowing. He went over to say good night to them with a little elephant in his hand (he also said he wanted to play with them - No cowboy, you're not playing with bulls) while I put the bag of animals in the house. I went back out to get him, he said good night and started running, but dropped the elephant in the grass. By this time it was too dark to see it, but he HAD to have that elephant tonight. I don't have any good flashlights because the kids always play with them and the batteries are dead. James has a little tiger flashlight with weak batteries so we used that and spent 5 or 10 minutes looking but with no luck. I had been telling him to wait until tomorrow so we can see but he insisted on getting it tonight. Just when I decided we would definitely wait until tomorrow, Irma came home. James told her what happened and she laughed at us (and me for not having a flashlight), but she remembered she had one in the car and two seconds later James had his elephant.

Chess is Rascist

Learning algebra through chess

"By saying that white automatically is offensive, it states that white is better than black," Ware said.

His idea is to remove color superiority in chess by focusing the game on variables. He calls his new way of chess "Algebra Chess" paralleling it to The Algebra Project by Robert Moses.

In Algebra Chess, Bill Ware plans on removing color superiority by allowing the pieces to either be the same or different colors such as red, blue, green, etc. The determining factor on who moves first depends on what square the queen sits on.

Chess is played on a grid and each square has a variable of A-H, and a number of 1-8.

According to Ware, whichever queen sits on the square D-1, that is the team that moves first. This way, nether color has priority or an inherent right to move first.

First of all, there's no rascism in chess - you have to be rascist to see and be so concerned with seeing rascism in every little little thing that has the colors black and white in it. I suppose pianos are rascist, too? Do you see the rascism in the way newspapers are printed?

Second, why all the complexity to see who goes first? Who determines, and how, who sits in front of the D-1 square? Anyway, you can solve the whole thing by flipping a coin to determine who goes first - it's no big deal.

Third, if it is supposed to be a way to teach algebra, fine, just do that and leave the rascist teaching out of it.

Hatred

Hatred seems to be the emotion of the decade and the amount and intensity seems to be growing more each day. Whatever happened to peaceful protests? Alan Dershowitz ran into a little hatred at Faneuil Hall in Boston.

"One sign carrier shouted that Jews who support Israel are worse than Nazis. Another demanded that I be tortured and killed. It wasn't only their words; it was the hatred in their eyes. If a dozen Boston police were not protecting me, I have little doubt I would have been physically attacked. Their eyes were ablaze with fanatical zeal.

Look familiar? Scroll down to see the picture.

That is what I saw: passionate hatred, ecstatic hatred, orgasmic hatred. It was beyond mere differences of opinion. When I looked into their faces, I could imagine young Nazis in the 1930s in Hitler's Germany. They had no doubt that they were right and that I was pure evil for my support of the Jewish state, despite my public disagreement with some of Israel's policies and despite my support for Palestinian statehood. There was no place for nuance here. It was black and white, good versus evil, and any Jew who supported Israel was pure evil, deserving of torture, violence, and whatever fate Hitler and Goebbels deserved."

There will be alot more to come. The hatred is not going anywhere soon. Don't get caught up in it.

And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another Matthew 24:10

And we have a problem with our judges and other government officials ignoring the laws of our country instead of upholding them.

And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. Matthew 24:12

Busy Night

This has been the busiest night I've had in a while here at work. No time to sit down. Hopefully I get to sleep Sunday - meaning Irma takes the kids to her Mother's house. I'm not counting on it. Saturday was a gorgeous day and I picked a few bags of grapefruit from my friends tree. I just finished 3 bags of them and they were great for juicing. I squeezed one today and got a full, large mug of juice from it. They are very sweet. I didn't know grapefruit could taste so good. I had been drinking apple cider but it is getting hard to find now and the grapefruit is healthier anyway because it is not pasturized. And you can't beat the price.

And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right, being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, insolent, proud, braggarts, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, perfidious, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them. Romans 1:28-32

This is a nation which does not obey the voice of the Lord their God, nor receives instruction; truth has perished, and is cut off from their mouth. Jeremiah 7:28

No, You Can't Do That

James put his feet on the bottom strand of the barbed wire fence and grabbed the top strand with his hands and was bouncing up and down as he turned to me and asked, " Dad, can I do this?" No! ... It did look like fun though.

What's So Great About A Dictator?

Democrats and dictators

"Last week is a case study in liberal support for dictators. First, it was none other than Saddam Hussein. Despite numerous reports of the Iraqi dictator's bloody atrocities, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton felt it necessary to speak up on his behalf -- commending his treatment of women!

Could Mrs. Rodham be unaware of the mass graves containing the bodies of thousands of Iraqi women and their children, documented by Fox News and others? Is she oblivious of reports showing that during Saddam's reign of terror, more than 200 women were beheaded and their families were forced to display their severed skulls on stakes in front of their homes? Hasn't the junior senator from New York heard of the thousands of women who were raped by members of Saddam's family and the Iraqi security services? How did she miss the photos and videotape of Iraqi women and girls who had been singled out for beatings and torture with hot branding?

But maybe those things don't matter to Clinton. In a speech to the Brookings Institute last week, she described Saddam as "an equal opportunity oppressor," and then went on to lament the heady days under his watch when Iraqi women "went to school, they participated in the professions, they participated in government and business." "And," this liberal champion of women's rights pointed out, "as long as (Iraqi women) stayed out of (Saddam's) way, they had considerable freedom of movement."

Mrs. Rodham went on to condemn the U.S.-lead coalition efforts to build democracy overnight in Iraq. But, she praised the United Nations' 12-year-long attempts to "nurture democratic movements" in the Balkans, something she defended as a "time-taking task." She failed to mention that the Balkan operation costs more than $1.5 billion per year. "

In Liberal-speak, dictators can do no wrong, there's always an excuse for their actions or a "but" attached to their condemnation of any violence done by dictators. George Bush is the personification of evil to them and they live a lie. Their imaginations and fantasies, their delusions, are real to them. Their minds are closed to truth, they don't see the world as it is, only as they imagine it should be.

Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth? Galations 4:16

You cannot talk sense into them, you cannot reason with them. They are on a mission and the truth does not matter to them. More and more people in the world are becoming like this. They have a goal, world government, and they believe when mankind finally creates this perfect world government - all will be well, peace will reign, just like on Star Trek. Of course, Islamists have a slightly different view of that world government but that will settle itself. There is no room in their minds for that clutter.

Not that the conservative side will bring true peace to the world or even the country. The truth is the world is caught in a vortex it cannot get itself out of and it will culminate in nuclear world war. That world war has most likely already started, slowly at first, almost imperceivable to a denying world.

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. Matthew 24:21

You can believe it or not believe it, it makes absolutely no difference, short of national repentence (fat chance), it will still happen.

There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12

That is so very, very true. Mankind will not bring peace to the earth, no communist, no socialist, no Islamist, no dictator, no democracy, no republic, no capitalist, no king or queen, no human being, and no, not even the Pope, ever. God will have to step out of His dimension into our own, stop all human activity, and set up His government to replace all human governments, with Jesus Christ as the literal King of the earth. He qualified about 2000 years ago to take that throne from it's present occupant, who has the earth set up as he wants it - disorganized and chaotic. That present occupant is the original rebel and conspiritor and the father of lies, Satan.

Symbols

A Woman Rides The Beast Symbols In Europe

Fascinating, considering this: Who, What is the "Beast" of Revelation?
Liberal Enigma

I found this piece by Ann Coulter interesting: The Passion of the Liberal

As I understand it, the dangerous religion is the one whose messiah instructs: "If one strikes thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also" and "Love your enemies ... do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you." The peaceful religion instructs: "Slay the enemy where you find him." (Surah 9:92).

Imitating the ostrich-like posture of certain German Jews who ignored the growing danger during Hitler's rise to power, today's liberals are deliberately blind to the real threats of violence that surround us. Their narcissistic self-image requires absolute solicitude toward angry savages plotting acts of terrorism. The only people who scare them are the ones who worship a Jew.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only he is now holding back until it comes out of the midst. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned. 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12

There's alot of strong delusion going around these days.

Speaking of Strong delusion

K-12 academy hosts 'Queer State of the Union'

"One thing I'm starting to notice in the last year or two … which is really, really cool, not just at Crossroads, but other places, that it's becoming more and more OK for people who are probably largely toward the straight end of the spectrum to really think about, 'You know, maybe I'm bisexual,'" he said in an interview segment on the Queer Youth website.

Behrman said the response is "not from a, 'Oh, it's trendy to be bi,' but really thinking, like, well, 'OK, maybe I don't have to limit myself … what am I shutting myself off to?'"

I replaced the alternator and charged the battery - that solved the problem. I'm driving again. I knew the alternator was going bad but it worked most of the time and I didn't want to spend the money so I put it off. I know better.

What is Truth?

The Omission of the Christ

"If the Arab claim is true that they have always been the historic presence in "Palestine", as the world body has readily accepted (since they are de facto forcing the creation of an Arab Palestinian state), it raises important questions about the story of Jesus, the origin of the Jews and the very foundations of Western civilization."

Some Days You Just Want to Scream

I stopped at Walmart on the way home from work and my car wouldn't start again. I thought at first it was the battery but it turned out to be the starter. AAA towed it home and I replaced the starter - it worked, but I lost any chance of sleeping because I had to take Irma to work so I could use her car. On my way to work tonight, only 1 mile from home, the car completely died. It was as if the battery was not connected. I pulled over into a parking lot and Irma came and got me so I could get to work. Now I have to sit here all night thinking about what is wrong with the car but not be able to do anything. I think I know. The battery was very hot and I believe it was caused by a bad alternator (the voltage fluctuated high and low before this happened, I should have went home). The only thing I don't know is if there is a main fuse that protects this circuit. It was so dark I couldn't see anything. Most cars have a main fuse but I don't remember ever seeing one on this car. If not, the battery is shot and maybe some wiring as well. Please let there be a fuse. I can replace the alternator in 10 minutes and be on my way. I really don't need a bigger problem right now.

Much Later

Saturday we took James to Animal Kingdom for the first time. He liked some things and didn't like others. We went on the Dinosaur ride - he didn't like that. Bugs Life - he didn't want to wear the 3D glasses and didn't really like it. He liked the train ride and the safari and he liked climbing on the rocks. During the parade I put him on the base of a lamp post so he could see. He watched the whole thing but he wasn't real excited about it. Oh, and he liked the petting zoo. That's about it. My thought during most of the day was how lame it was considering the admission price is over $50.00 per person for one day, but we got a Florida resident 4-day special, so...

We went to the Magic Kingdom about 4:30, I thought he would enjoy that more. He loved the monorail. He got to feed a friendly duck that came right up to him and took the food from his fingers. This place was more crowded than Animal Kingdom. We went on the Mississippi paddle boat cruise, which he liked. He liked the carousel - went on it twice. Snow White he hated. Peter Pan was a 65 minute wait - no way is it worth it. Haunted Mansion - hated. We went on the Teacups and he really liked them. That's about all we did, we had to go because Irma wasn't feeling good. I haven't been there in a long time because it's not worth the money or time spent. Disney has lost it's way and it's magic to the bottom line (and Eisner). Overall it was a good day though. We were exhausted when we got home.

I was up early Sunday with the kids and we had a birthday party for James so I wasn't allowed to sleep. I still haven't caught up on sleep and won't be able to until Thursday night. James does not take a nap anymore. I put him in bed for a nap but he doesn't fall asleep. If he doesn't sleep, I can't sleep.
