A customer at a Subway restaurant in Plantation, Fl defended himself and others from 2 armed robbers by shooting them. (the robbers, not the customers)

Perfectly legal and above board. As they say on Gunsmoke, "It was a fair fight, Matt."

The dead guy's Grandmother apparently thinks her grandson should have the right to rob someone and threaten them at gunpoint. Doesn't work that way, not in Florida anyway.

Teach your children stealing is wrong, dead wrong.
