The FDA wants more power

Why don't they just get scientists beholden to the government to say that eggs cause global warming? It worked great with carbon dioxide and the EPA was able to use it to grab more power.

When does a government agency NOT want more power? That is always the excuse for their incompetence, it can't possibly be that the power structure they use doesn't work no matter how much power they have.
