Major earthquake hits Japan. They say it was a 8.9 and hit off the coast causing large tsunamis. This is not good.

I emailed Toshiro, he may not respond, large areas of Tokyo have no power. We'll just have to wait and see. I wonder about Mitake, too.

Update: I have heard from Toshiro and Chiaki and they are fine. There is no train service and the phones do not work so they cannot check on family in Mitake yet.
