Twinkies Maker Hostess Going Out of Business, CEO Blames Union Strike
Hostess, the makers of Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Wonder Bread, is going out of business after striking workers failed to heed a Thursday deadline to return to work, the company said.Times are changing. People are trying to eat healthier. You have to adapt or die. Unions only understand more, more, more. Concession is not in their vocabulary. Union members are voting and now striking themselves out of their jobs. Given the economic outlook, this will not be the last time.
