Took my son to the hardware store, he was looking at the keys while I got and paid for what I needed, not 5 feet from me the whole time. Walking back to the car he asked why the guy in the store was watching him like he was going to steal something. "It's because you're black." "Huh?" He didn't get it. "Stores lose a lot of money from theft and they have to watch people. Everyone gets watched, don't take it personal."
