A Little Bible Study

This post is not for everyone but if it's for you, you will really appreciate it. Nehemia Gordon does not teach religion, he's not a preacher, he doesn't tell you what to believe. He just lays out what he's learned, and he knows a lot about the Bible and biblical history. You may want to start with his older presentation at the bottom of this post entitled The Hebrew Yeshua vs. the Greek Jesus.

May 16, 2011: Nehemia Gordon speaks at El Shaddai Ministries from El Shaddai Ministries on Vimeo.

A little about Nehemia:
Nehemia Gordon spoke with us about his new book about the Priestly Blessing of Numbers 6:23-27 and the topic of Mixed Seed in reference to the Jewish people mixing worship of God with false religions throughout history. Nehemia Gordon holds a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelors Degree in Archeology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Mr. Gordon has worked as a translator on the Dead Sea Scrolls and as a researcher deciphering ancient Hebrew manuscripts. He has been invited to speak in synagogues and churches around the world and has led groups of pilgrims and visitors on tours of biblical sites. Nehemia spoke at El Shaddai last year about his books The Hebrew Yeshua vs. the Greek Jesus and A Prayer to Our FATHER: Hebrew origins of the Lord's Prayer. A native of Chicago, Nehemia has made his home in Jerusalem, Israel for the last fifteen years.
I highly recommend his books:
