But my point is this: It's one thing to cry "Change! Change!" … but it's something else to be able to walk into Washington, dismantle a top-heavy, massive machine, stop all the things an entrenched bureaucracy has been doing for generations, send all the people who know how it works packing and then replace it any time soon with anything that even works as well! Especially when you've never done anything like it before!
The morale of the story is simple: Don't ever trust government to be your friend. Government is not your friend. Government is not your meal ticket. Government is not your means to wealth and prosperity. Government is not a friend of freedom. Government is, indeed, the opposite of freedom.
I'm not preaching anarchy here. But I am preaching something darn close to it. It's called limited constitutional government. It's what our founders envisioned for their posterity – you and me.

I’m not talking about recycling Evian bottles; I’m talking about giving up cars and moving into smaller houses or apartments, or even forming communes where people can live simpler, more Earth-friendly lives. Yes, I’m talking about living the kinds of lives they want all of us to live.
Such a movement could literally start tomorrow. It would need a leader, of course; someone who could inspire others to choose a more spartan lifestyle. The obvious choice would be Al Gore, who already has a loyal following. If he would eschew large homes, gas-guzzling cars, private jets and the consumption of meat, millions more would likely do the same. If enough people joined the cause, Mr. Gore and his followers would be able to demonstrate the results of this new way of living in very short order. They could lead by example.
In fact, global warming hysteria is big business. I strongly believe that's what motivates Al Gore to be the Pied Piper of this global hoax. Isn't he in the business of selling carbon credits? Hasn't anyone figured out his racket yet? Gee, let's see. A guy comes along selling the end of the world and, also, coincidentally, selling the cure. Wouldn't you get just a little suspicious?
I'm shocked that so many Americans and others around the world have fallen for this.
This nonsense – this indoctrination, this spreading of lies – is going on in virtually every public school in the country. It goes on in elementary schools, and it goes on in colleges and universities. And there is no science behind it. There is no truth behind it. There is no point behind it except to enlist your little darlin' into the legion of mindless robots who care only about minimizing their parents' carbon footprints.
I'm sure I've said it before, but it needs to be said again and again: This is nothing more than child abuse. It has nothing to do with education. It is the opposite of education. It is mis-education.
People who do this kind of thing to little children should be incarcerated. But they won't be, because big business and big government are behind it! And anyone who questions what is being taught in this new Stalinesque environment is labeled an enemy of the people.

After two years of record crime in Orlando, Eyewitness News learned Tuesday that the new police chief is disbanding two high-profile crime-fighting units.
Orlando police officials say a new chief is in town and changes are now being made to reduce violent crimes and to make neighborhoods safe. For the past two years, the undercover drug unit and undercover vice squad were making drug busts and arresting prostitutes, but the numbers were not high enough.
Now the chief is disbanding the two units. Ten officers, two sergeants and a lieutenant will be moving to patrol units and there will be no undercover units. The police department's drug enforcement captain said, if OPD needs help with undercover units, they can call other agencies for help.

The creature circled their 6.5 metre boat continuously, apparently attracted by the outboard motor.
“He’d go around the back of the boat and then circle it, and come right up to the side of the boat. You could touch him if you wanted to,” Porter said.
Emboldened by the shark’s apparent lack of aggression, Porter dipped his arm in the sea to take underwater photos with a waterproof digital camera, but could not get a good shot.
So his friends grabbed him by the ankles as he dunked the top of his body in the water to get the shots he wanted.
“We threw him a fish but he wasn’t really interested in it, he was a pretty docile shark,” he said.
The Steese Fire Department responded to the call within two minutes of it coming in but turned back when they realized it was outside the service area. Callaway said he saw them turn off their lights and head back to the station.
