Subverting the wisdom of the Founders

On the establishment of religion: What the Constitution really says. Deserves a thorough read. I haven't read anything more to the point on this subject and I believe he's right.

"In addition to these abuses and violations of the U.S. Constitution, the purblind insistence by these judges and justices on treating religious freedom as a strictly individual right has produced the very consequence that the Constitution's more prudent approach seeks to avoid. They have insisted that government adopt a stance of strict agnosticism, which in effect drives from the public realm all things that smack of religious belief.

This establishes, in the literal sense, a uniform regime of atheism in government affairs. (In the literal sense, atheism simply means the absence of God, and this, in the public realm, is what the federal judges and justices insist upon.) Since, however unjustifiably, they claim for their opinions the force of law, it necessarily follows that they mean to impose this regime by force – that is, by coercion. Thus, in the guise of a judicial effort to protect religious freedom, they destroy it – not for this or that individual, but for the people as a whole.

More on Jew/Egypt Reparations

The Exodus Fraud

"The Arab world – and I say this as an Arab-American proud of his ancestry – boldly and shamelessly accuses the Jews of doing what it does.

It was the Jewish people who were cast out of the Arab world by the hundreds of thousands – with little more than the clothes on their backs. It was the Jews who considered themselves fortunate to have escaped the clutches of the Arab world with their lives. It was the Jews who were persecuted by the Arab world – and continue to be persecuted today."

France Insane?

France: No proof Hamas is terror group.

"The French government is once again bucking the United States-led international war on terrorism and urging fellow Europeans to follow suit by not classifying Hamas and Islamic Jihad as terror organizations."

Hamas and Islamic Jihad not terrorist orginations? What dimensional abnormality are they living in?

Cancer

A friend of mine has been undergoing chemo-therepy for Hodgkin's Disease. He seemed to be doing well, the doctors were pleased with his progress. He handled it well, even joking about it, although it hasn't been easy for him. He began having pain in the kidney area and he had a stint put in. I don't know if I spelled that right, I'm not even 100% sure what it is. He was to have it removed but during that operation they said they had to remove the kidney. There was a mass surrounding it, they couldn't remove it, but they took the kidney. I don't know every detail, it was a very confusing thing. It wasn't expected. So he had been home recovering and a few days ago began having extreme back pain. The doctor who took out the kidney said it was all in his head, gave him a letter stating he was well enough to return to work and basically said he just didn't want to return to work. He went to a chiropractor and was told something was wrong, the area was all red and the chiropractor wouldn't touch him. On his way back to the car he had shooting pains, he said like static electricity, in his legs and they began to give out. He fell. He got up and fell again. They took him to a different doctor who did an MRI and said there was a tumor attached to his spinal cord and he needed an emergency operation. They said if he had waited a couple more days he would have lost use of his legs. They looked at the previous MRI's and said the tumor was obvious and the other doctor should have easily seen it. Legal action a possibility.

He just called me tonight from the hospital, sometimes in tears, telling me about it. He didn't sound like himself at all. It's really hard to deal with. He's the same age as I am. I'm not really sure what to say or do. I'm going to visit him tomorrow. His plans are to leave the hospital and go back on chemo again. Right now he can't even walk so I don't think he'll be leaving the hospital very soon. Let's see.

I wonder what I would do if I were in his shoes. I always say when the time comes, that's it. I don't want to prolong it and suffer the indignities of operation after operation and all that goes with that. I don't want to do everything possible to eek out every possible miserable moment of living that way. I wouldn't want my son seeing that either. But then, I want to be there to watch him grow up. My friend doesn't have a wife or children. I think he wishes he had.

Property Rights

Neal Boortz talks about them in Outrage in Alabaster. Another front in the attack on our freedoms.

Temple Mount Again

"Israeli police clashed with Muslims on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem after the compound was reopened to Christians and Jews.

Police kicked and beat some protesters with batons while Arab children threw stones at the officers."

Temple Mount opens to non-Muslims

This has got to stop: 36 Children Die Left in Hot Cars in 2003.

"The screaming message here is that for any period of time, you don't leave a child unattended in a car"
