how come nobody is risking their lives and the lives of their children to escape it? Everyone wants to come here, hardly anyone wants to leave.

I remember reading story after story, Readers Digest had alot of them, about all the attempts and successes of people trying to escape East Germany over or through the Berlin Wall. How many people die trying to escape Cuba and we don't even know about them? But oh no, Castro is a wonderful leader and Cuba is paradise.
