Just Because

Arpaio: Obama birth record has been tampered with
Members of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's posse said in March that there was probable cause that Obama's long-form birth certificate released by the White House in April 2011 was a computer-generated forgery.

Now, Arpaio says investigators are positive it's fraudulent.

Mike Zullo, the posse's chief investigator, said numeric codes on certain parts of the birth certificate indicate that those parts weren't filled out, yet those sections asking for the race of Obama's father and his field of work or study were completed.
Why lie about something if you don't have to? Why put out a fraudulent or tampered with document if a real one exists? It doesn't have to make sense, it's just another dead end trail for someone to waste time on while you're busy destroying the country. It's a tactic.

to kill someone. An unarmed assailant can be just as deadly as an armed one. If someone attacks you, you can't afford to assume he has the best intentions.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words Dept.

Beyond the Stereotype
A Quebec activist who fought the stereotyping of Muslims was charged with supporting terrorism on Friday after an RCMP investigation linked her to an alleged scheme to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah...

Prior to her arrest, Ms. Diab was vice-president of the Association of Young Lebanese Muslims. Her activism was focused partly on changing the stereotypes that too often associate Muslims with terrorism and violence.

Completely Out of Touch Musicians

When Did England Become a Police State?
But seriously, when did England become a police state?
This from the very liberal musicians who are supporting the tearing down of our free society and supporting the so-called "social justice" Marxist model. It's enough to make you cry, they will finally realize one day. One day too late.

His Whole Life is a Story

Just not necessarily a true one.

Obama: My Biggest Mistake Was Not 'Telling a Story'

I think the whole world could do without another Obama story. What we're looking forward to is the riding off into the sunset ending.

Cowards Rule Here

DOJ Reveals Brian Terry Was Shooting Bean Bags At Men Who Killed Him
The Department of Justice unsealed documents today showing that Brian Terry was shooting bean bags at men who returned fire with assault rifles.
BEANBAGS!!! Our border patrol agents on the Mexican border are armed with BEANBAGS? The Mexican border has never been safe. Geronimo fought Mexicans in that area before the United States extended that far.

And now this: Napolitano to Border agents: Run and Hide from Shooter
In what they termed "another nauseating series of Virtual Learning Center brainwashing courses that Border Patrol agents are forced to sit behind a computer for hours and endure," officials at the Border Patrol union reported their members are taught in an "Active Shooter" course that if agents encounter a shooter in a public place they are to "run away" and "hide." But on Saturday, while visiting Texas, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano had a different message, according to a government report.

"If we are cornered by such a shooter we are to (only as a last resort) become 'aggressive' and 'throw things' at him or her. We are then advised to 'call [local] law enforcement' and wait for their arrival, presumably, while more innocent victims are slaughtered," states the Arizona (Local 2544) Border Patrol web site.
Our Border Patrol Agents are required to RUN and HIDE? As a last resort they can THROW THINGS? Throw what? Beanbags?

I can't get my mind around this. This is real? Janet Napolitano wants our Border Patrol Agents to run and hide.

May I take the liberty to slightly alter Luke 23:28 for effect? But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem The United States, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

The Power of the Priestly Blessing Unleashed

Bible scholar Nehemia Gordon is recovering the name of God and discusses the priestly blessing in Numbers Chapter 6. This interview by Christine Darg coincides with publication of Nehemia's new book, "Shattering the Conspiracy of Silence: the Hebrew Power of the Priestly Blessing Unleashed."

I have not yet read the new book on the priestly blessing but his previous books, The Hebrew Yeshua vs. the Greek Jesus and A Prayer to Our Father were outstanding.

Anti-gun group is synonymous with liar.

Anti-gun group applauds Google's move to muzzle firearms retailers
The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, a gun control lobby group, recently told AFP that it welcomed the move by Google — seeing the ban as a win in advancing its gun-control agenda.

"We applaud Google for acting to restrict sales of dangerous weapons that would frequently occur without background checks," said Daniel Vice, senior attorney at the Brady Center.
It is not legal to purchase a weapon through the mail (internet) without going through an FFL holding firearms dealer. That means if I purchase a gun from Acme Gun Sales, they have to send it to my local FFL dealer who has to do the background check (every time) and make me wait the 3 or 5 or 10 day waiting period required by law. The dealer must obey all local laws. I must obey all local laws. The selling dealer must obey all local laws. This statement by Daniel Vice is an outright lie.
Citing a study by another prominent gun-control group, the New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg-led Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Vice said that "62 percent of online gun sellers were willing to sell weapons to people who could not pass a background check."

"The Internet is a notorious source of guns for killers," Vice said.
More outright lies. Online gun dealers are not willing to sell weapons to "people who could not pass a background check." They would lose their license, their livelihood, and their freedom (jail). Not to mention the waste of time and money sending a gun through the mail - which is not cheap - and having it sent back by the FFL dealer he was required to send it to because the FFL dealer won't sell it to someone who doesn't pass the background check. Also, the internet is not the largest source of guns for killers, theft is.

The vast majority of gun owners, retailers and wholesalers are law abiding people who bend over backwards to make sure what they are doing is 100% legal. Some even go beyond what is necessary. There are many people who will not sell a gun face to face (which is legal without a background check) unless the purchaser has a concealed carry license (which he is not required to do).

It is very easy to fool people who don't know the laws and the honest law abiding people who make up the gun community. Don't be taken in by their lies.

What Could Go Wrong?

Releasing genetically modified mosquitoes into the wild.
According to health officials, mosquitoes bred in such an installation receive injections of different viruses, which are transmitted in the instant of reproduction and kill the larvae before they are born, which means the number of mosquitoes tends to diminish.
That doesn't sound genetically modified, that sounds like mosquitoes injected with viruses. What's the genetically modified part?

Better Do Some More Investigating

Detroit officer's gun kills woman; incident under investigation
the veteran beat patrolman was hosting a party at his home and was dancing with his wife when Miller came up behind him and tugged at his waist.

"And the gun went off," Goldpaugh said. "It's a fluke accidental shooting."

The weapon, a department-issued, 40-caliber Smith & Wesson semiautomatic pistol, was in a holster worn inside the officer's waistband and was covered by his shirt, Goldpaugh said.
Holsters are designed to cover the trigger guard, and therefore the trigger, preventing anything from touching it. A modern "department-issued, 40-caliber Smith & Wesson semiautomatic pistol" will not shoot without pulling the trigger. Without going into technical details, there are safeties designed into the gun to prevent a discharge of the weapon unless the trigger is pulled. And they work.
Goldpaugh said the physical evidence from the incident corroborated the officer's account of the shooting.
An inside the waistband holster holds the gun in a muzzle down position, sometimes at a slight angle (15%) but down. If I were to come up behind someone wearing a gun in this kind of holster and IF I pulled the trigger, I would be shot in the leg or foot. It doesn't say where she was shot. He could be very tall and she very short, who knows. The person wearing the gun would at least have a hole in their pants. I still don't see this happening. Was the officer really wearing a holster? It could have happened with no holster, that's a possibility.
The officer did not know the woman, who attended the party with other guests, Goldpaugh said.
Why would a woman you did not know come up behind you and give you a hug hard enough to pull a handgun trigger, especially when you are dancing with your wife?

Too many question, not enough answers. Something is missing here.

Disability: The New Unemployment

Disability Ranks Outpace New Jobs In Obama Recovery
More workers joined the federal government's disability program in June than got new jobs, according to two new government reports, a clear indicator of how bleak the nation's jobs picture is after three full years of economic recovery.

And the disability ranks will continue to swell. In just the last month, almost 275,000 put in applications for disability benefits.

Independence Day

Saving the Republic
On July 5, 1776, John Adams wrote, "Yesterday was decided the greatest question which was ever decided among men. A resolution was passed unanimously 'that these United States are, and of right ought to be, free and independent states.' The day is passed. The 4th of July '76 will be a memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe it will be celebrated by succeeding generations, as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to Almighty God."

Everything Should Be FREE!

"I think healthcare should be free."

"It's a right."

"Why should you have to pay for the right to live in the first place?"
I don't understand how they put healthcare first on the list of rights, on the list of things that should be free. I mean, if you don't have food, all the healthcare in the world can't help you. Why shouldn't food be free for all? And clean, fresh water. Can't live very long without water. Yet, even though the government controls the municipal water supply they charge for it. The government charges you. Shouldn't water be a right, shouldn't water be free? What about housing?

Here's the deal. You can go hunt, fish and grow your own food, provide it entirely for yourself - and it's free. Dig a well in your backyard and throw a bucket down - free water. Same with healthcare. Go get yourself some books and learn how to take care of yourself. Learn how to make splints for broken limbs, how to take care of wounds, learn how to use herbs and whatnot to cure what ails you. Go find yourself a spot somewhere no one else claims and build yourself a cabin. I'm sure there are parts of northern Canada where no one would even know you were there. Build yourself a fire - free heat! Your gonna need it up there.

What possesses someone to think someone else should be coerced to work to provide the needs of another? I mean, we work for one another in a capitalist society but we do it voluntarily. We each get something out of it. Being forced to do anything leads to a miserable existence. You know it and I know it.

How To Create a Communist Society:

In order to set up a Communist society you first have to confiscate all the guns because next you have to get rid of all the people who refuse to go along. Traditionally this is done by killing them. (I think this is where Communism gets the RED label from) Unfortunately, the people who refuse to go along are the most productive members of society, so basically you just killed the goose that lays the golden egg. But you don't realize that yet, you're too busy celebrating and going around collecting golden eggs that belonged to the people you killed. There's not as many as you thought when everyone is through looting. And so, the misery begins.

The elites have already confiscated all the guns, now they begin confiscating all the eggs (so they can distribute them fairly). They distribute them fairly amongst themselves leaving you with nothing. But everybody has nothing so that's fair. Congratulations, you're a communist now. Once in a while they will throw you a bone, a roll of toilet paper, some bread, bag of rice - things you don't get everyday. Usually, there is an underground capitalist market that is set up and everyone pretends it doesn't exist, but it is the only way to get anything you really need.

And so, yeah. That's basically it, oh, and you can never leave. Don't try to escape or they will kill you. Or your family if you get away. I think it's because if they let you leave, then everyone will want to leave and they won't have any slaves to rule over anymore. Somebody has to work to provide their living, right. ;)

Freeloaders

Now, they're concerned with freeloaders?
It's not a tax on the American people. It's a tax -- it's a penalty for free riders.
LOL! The progs want to penalize free riders! This is mental gymnastics on a level rarely seen!
This is the party that celebrates free riders. This is the party that devotes itself to creating even more free riders. This is a party that could not survive without free riders and freeloaders. This is a party that does everything it can to make people as dependent as possible on the government. Free riders, freeloaders. And now this ruling is apparently so distasteful that the Democrat Party has to do a 180 and start attacking their own voters. Well, what happened to the precious 30 to 50 million uninsured? This is the piece de resistance, Democrats like Nancy Pelosi mocking free riders. The entire mission of the Democrat Party is to create more and more free riders. Haven't they seen to it that almost half the country doesn't pay income tax, a bunch of free riders?

It's a Tax

In order to be constitutional, it has to be a tax.
It's not a tax.
If it's not a tax, it's not constitutional.
It's constitutional because it's a tax.
So, it's a tax.
No. It's not a tax. It's a penalty.
A penalty makes it a mandate and therefore unconstitutional.
It's constitutional because it's a tax.
But you just said it wasn't a tax.
It's not a tax.

Fighting Back

Florida Judge Smacks Down Holder over Non-Citizens Voting
"Today's ruling puts the burden on the federal government to provide Florida with access to the Department of Homeland Security’s citizenship database," Scott said. "We know from just a small sample that an alarming number of non-citizens are on the voter rolls and many of them have illegally voted in past elections."
I'm sure this will put Florida on the enemies list alongside Arizona. That's good company.

Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death

The men who established this country knew what they believed and knew how to make a stand for what they believed. They put everything on the line. Our leaders now? Not so much.
When asked why he wasn't joining the [4 day] hunger strike, Rep Kucinich responded: "I'm a vegan, so I'm kind of hungry all the time. I'm here in moral support of their efforts."

Prepare for a Major Redistribution of Your Hard Earned Money

Killing Coal in America
In the Senate, on June 20, a resolution to block the imposition of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) standards for hazardous air pollutant emissions from power plants failed.

The vote was 46 ayes to 53 nays. Among the Republicans who sided with the Democrats to kill the measure were Sens. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Scott Brown of Massachusetts, and the two Maine Senators, Susan Collins and Olympia Snow, neither of whom is a Republican in anything but name only. Their support of the EPA regulation will cost Americans dearly in jobs and the cost of electricity.
Oh, you're poor and can't afford it? Fixed income? To bad, so sad. Take heart, Obama and his cast of characters love ya. Apparently, those five Republicans listed above do, too.

Fast and Furious is Worse Than Watergate

Media Obsessed with Watergate, Not Fast and Furious
There are many elements that make Fast and Furious #WorseThanWatergate. Brian Terry's death and the deaths of 300+ Mexicans should be first on that list. Nobody died in Watergate. It was a botched burglary of Democrat campaign headquarters by Republican operatives. Then came the Richard Nixon cover-up. We have always been told the cover-up was worse (which it was), and it brought down a President. In Fast and Furious, both the operation and the attempted cover-up are scandalous. Holder has already lied many times to Congress, and now Barack Obama has become the first President to use Executive Privilege to keep secret documents he claims he has never seen. The media can't see the historic relevance here, because they don't want to see it. Blind by choice.

Concocting a scheme to put the most dangerous hand-held weapons on the planet in the hands of Mexican drug cartels
[and blame American laws and law-abiding gun store owners - Otto] should be enough to bury anybody and everybody responsible.
Fast and Furious is worse than Watergate. Keep sayin' it, because the media wants to bury it.

We're Not Escaping This Mess by Way of Space

It's been 35 years and 11 billion miles and Voyager 1 is still not in interstellar space.
NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft has encountered a new environment more than 11 billion miles from Earth, suggesting that the venerable probe is on the cusp of leaving the solar system.
It's nowhere near another star, never mind another star with a habitable planet. We can't run away.

Oh, How Things Have Changed

But not for the better. Change is not always better.

I like David Kupelian and have read and enjoyed 2 of his books, The Marketing of Evil and How Evil Works. I highly recommend them both. Here, in his latest commentary, he relates a story about his father:

America's Marxist picnic
I could go on and on. These oft-cited facts merely scratch the surface of Obama's long-term radicalism. But the point in juxtaposing my father's story and Obama's is as inescapable as it is troubling:

My dad, a true American who was immeasurably grateful and loyal to his adopted country, could have lost everything because his mother went to a church picnic and picked up a Marxist rag.

That was then. But now, sitting in the White House is a man who has spent most of his entire life immersed in Marxist ideology, influences, mentors and benefactors. He has proven, as president, that he is still fully committed to dragging America – kicking and screaming if necessary (recall the outrageous and illegal way Obamacare was passed) – into a new era of unprecedented, government-coerced redistribution of wealth and power. To be precise: Marxism.

It would be folly, of course, to imagine that Obama just magically appeared out of thin air to lead a nation of liberty-loving, responsible, moral, right-thinking grownups leftward. America has been moving in this sad direction for decades. No, not under the "Marxist" label, or any of those other nasty words of yesteryear, like "socialism" or "communism" or "collectivism." They've all been carefully replaced by warm-and-cuddly terms like "fairness," "economic justice," "redistribution," "progressivism" and – as an off-script Obama famously told Joe the Plumber – "spread[ing] the wealth around."

The spirit of socialism has taken root and flowered spectacularly in America, especially in all of our elite, idea-generating institutions like education, the news and entertainment media, and, of course, government. The original American spirit – stout, risk-taking, God-fearing, responsible, adult – has progressively been displaced by the spirit of dependency and helplessness, of perpetual grievance and victimization, and most of all, of envy and resentment. All of which cries out for ever bigger government.

At Least He's the Best at Something

President Obama: The Biggest Government Spender In World History
The U.S. has never before had a President who thinks so little of the American people that he imagines he can win re-election running on the opposite of reality. But that is the reality of President Obama today.
There are, unfortunately, a lot of Americans operating on the opposite of reality. Hopefully, not as many as it sometimes seems.
He knows very well that he is not a careful spender. His whole mission is to transform the U.S. not into a Big Government country, but a Huge Government country, because only a country run by a Huge Government can be satisfactorily controlled by superior, all wise and beneficent individuals like himself. That is why he is at minimum a Swedish socialist, if not worse. Notice, though, how far behind the times he and his weak minded supporters are, as even the Swedes have abandoned Swedish socialism as a failure.

The New American Justice Department

Holder Defends Foreigners Voting in Florida Elections
The real scandal in the fight between Florida and the Eric Holder Justice Department is that Holder is ultimately defending foreigners voting in American elections.
When was the last time you got to vote in Mexican elections?

Tyranny Cannot Coexist with the Individual Right to Bear Arms.

Chinese plot to strip Americans of firearms

I don't know if I'd call it a plot, it's a report. I know they would love to see America disarmed, however. LOVE. So would many of our politicians.
I find it interesting that the first attack of the Communist Chinese against U.S. social policy targets the means by which we secure our other rights. Yes, the U.S. is awash in firearms of every conceivable design and capability, but the very numbers of those firearms belies the suggestion that it is the guns that cause the crimes. If this were true, we would have all killed each other long ago.

Democrats Need a Permanent Underclass

This guy is hitting the nail on the head.
"When they put you on a check, it isn't like they're putting you on a hundred grand a year. No, they're putting you on ten grand a year - if that! But ten grand a year plus a little food stamps and some cheap-ass crappy government housing with cockroaches - that's your life. That's your life under the Democrats plan. But they need that permanent underclass. Here's the thing about the Hispanics ... these aren't lazy people, these are not people who come here because they want to get on the government dole, I honestly believe that. I believe that the Hispanics that are coming across the southern border of the United States illegally are coming here for opportunity, they're coming here for jobs, for a better life for them and their families. They're very family oriented people, in fact a lot of the money that they make they send home to their families in Mexico. The whole concept of family, the whole concept of working, the whole concept of trying to better your position in life, those are Republican values. The sad thing about it is that they come here and they get it in their head that the Democrats are for the working man, the Democrats are for the poor and in reality the Democrats are for the poor alright, but they need you to stay poor. They are not looking for you to ever crawl out of a hole. That's not gonna work for them, because what they are buying is a life-time voter and the sad part about it is they get that voter cheap."

It Is Written?

Well, that explains that.

I will not be quoting anything from that little news item, you'll just have to go and read it for yourself. Suffice to say, it is a creative explanation by a Muslim cleric as to the cause of homosexuality and whoredom. This reminded me of the following quote I had earmarked. It concerns Christians, and yes, some Christians and so-called Christians are guilty of this but I don't think anyone excels at it quite so well as some of those of the Muslim faith.
It often happens that a non-Christian derives from the clearest arguments, or from the evidence of his senses, certain scientific knowledge about the heavens and the earth – about the size or distance or movements or revolutions of the stars, about certain eclipses of the sun and moon, about the course of the seasons and years, about the nature of animals and plants and minerals, and other such things.

It is both improper and mischievous for any Christian man to speak on such matters as if so authorized by scripture and yet talk so foolishly that the unbeliever, observing the extravagance of his mistakes, is scarcely able to keep from laughing. And the real trouble is not so much that the man is laughed at for his blunders, but that the writers of Scripture are believed to have taught such things, and are thus condemned and rejected as ignorant by people outside the Church, to the great loss of those whose salvation was so much desire.

They find one belonging to the Christian body so far wrong on a subject they themselves know so well; and, on top of this, find him enforcing his groundless opinions by the authority of our Holy Bible. So they come to regard the scriptures as unsound on subjects they have learned by observation or by unquestioned evidence. Are they likely therefore to put there trust in these Scriptures about the resurrection of the dead, the hope of eternal life, and the kingdom of heaven?

What trouble and sorrow some presumptuous men bring on their more careful brethren. When charged with wrong notions by non-Christians, they try to bolster their wrong assertions by the Bible, even quoting inaccurately what they think will suit there purpose and putting forth a lot of talk without understanding what they are saying.

As quoted in Faith That Makes Sense, by J. Edwin Orr, From the Latin, De Genesi ad Litteram, Book I, Chapter xix, 39, written by Saint Augustine in the fourth century.

Christians: Please be careful what you teach and by what authority you claim to teach it. By some, all Christians are considered the same as the craziest person they ever heard quote a Bible verse, notwithstanding, anyone can buy a Bible or claim to be Christian.

Muslims: It's your call.

Say No to Socialism

The Socialist Mask of Marxism
History usually repeats itself, and if you have lived two lives, as I have done, you have a good chance of seeing that re-enactment with your own eyes. In 1978, I paid with two death sentences from my native Romania for helping her people rid themselves of their Marxist dictatorship, carefully disguised as socialism. Thirty years later I witnessed how the same Marxism, camouflaged as socialism, began infecting the shores of my adoptive country, the United States, which had just won a 44-year Cold War against Marxism and against its earthly incarnation, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

In a 2008 column titled "Big Political Shifts Are Underway," Joelle Fishman, chairman of the Action Commission of the Communist Party USA, strongly endorsed the Democratic Party’s candidate for the White House, appealing to all working people in the United States to back Senator Barack Obama, in order to provide "a landslide defeat of the Republican ultra-right."

That new alliance between the Democratic Party and the Communist Party was a first in the history of the United States, the world's headquarters of democracy and free enterprise. In November 2008, over 65 million Americans who were unable to identify the stealth virus of Marxism that was infecting the Democratic Party voted to give this party the White House and both chambers of Congress.

Shocked and Disgusted

I have absolutely no idea if what Alex Jones believes is true (I don't actually believe it), I don't even know who Alex Jones is (and don't care enough to Google it)- let's just say that after reading this story and now knowing that roasted fetal corpses covered in gold leaf actually exist, and with all the cannibal stories popping up lately, finding out the story was true would not shock me any more than I already am.

Alex Jones Believes Bilderberg Attendees Ship in Gold-Covered Roasted Babies to Eat
Last month, police in Thailand arrested a British citizen after six roasted fetal corpses were found in his luggage. The bodies were believed to be between two and seven months old, according to the Guardian. Some were plated in gold leaf, apparently for use in black magic rituals.

Government Screwels, Again.

Another example of no grace in government. Texas Judge Sentences Honors Student to Jail for Missing School
Diane Tran, 17, works two jobs while taking dual-credit and advanced placement classes at Willis High School in Willis, Texas, KHOU-TV reported. Her parents divorced and moved away, leaving her to support an older brother at Texas A&M University and a baby sister who lives with relatives. She lives with the family of one of her employers, the owners of a wedding venue.

Tran told KHOU she doesn't want to miss school, but is so exhausted sometimes that she can't make it to her morning classes before attendance is taken. Other times she even ends up missing the day entirely.

"She goes from job to job, from school she stays up 'til 7 o’clock in the morning doing her homework," Tran's friend Devin Hill told the station.
She's not out partying with friends, not doing drugs, not drinking. Life dealt her a bad hand and she is making the best of it. The school should be asking if there is anything they can do to help.
Judge Lanny Moriarty warned Tran back in April not to miss any more school; when she missed again last week, he issued a summons and had her arrested in open court Wednesday. Tran was sentenced to a night in jail and ordered to pay a $100 fine.

"If you let one (truant student) run loose, what are you gonna' do with the rest of 'em? Let them go too?" Moriarty asked.
Why is a judge even involved in this, what have the school officials and her teachers been doing? They have no clue what is going on with her? They can't ask? They don't care?

Intimidate and Silence

Drug Cartels to Mexican Journalists: Shut Up or Die
Mexico's drug cartels obviously understand that if they can control the media they can not only shape the perceptions of their enemies, but the rest of the world as well.
This they learned from Marxists.

Walking Towards Paradise?

And it shall be if you do at all forget Jehovah your God and walk after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you shall surely perish. -Deuteronomy 8:19
Muhammad Raped while Bobby Stayed Mum
It is a sad day for Great Britain on the whole, not just for her victimized daughters -- for the nation which at one point had an empire so large that the sun never set on it has now been reduced to a nation of cowards. If a nation cannot perform its most basic obligation to protect its citizenry because its leaders prioritize protecting their multicultural ideology, that nation and its culture are dead.
If you are walking in darkness you will not see where you are going, you have no reference to get your bearings, you will easily get lost. You may even walk right over a cliff you never saw. That's just common sense, everybody knows that although we often forget in this modern world of artificial light. Well, Yehovah is the light of the world - figuratively. If you walk in His ways and keep His commandments you will be able to make life decisions more clearly, life works better. If you turn off that light you're back to groping around in a very dangerous and confusing world with no sense of where to turn - life becomes much more difficult. When your society turns off the light you just multiplied your troubles, it's a dog eat dog world out there and the strong will eat the weak.

We, America, are headed where Great Britain is. Our leaders are pushing full steam ahead and do not see the danger, or if they do they are leading us into the lions den purposely. Certainly, a large percentage of the people do not see this. I pray it is a much smaller percentage than it seems.

Her Son Could Have Died Because of a Technicality

Government screwels must follow the rules.

Nurse refuses student inhaler during asthma attack
"As soon as we opened up the door, we saw my son collapsing against the wall on the floor of the nurse's office while she was standing in the window of the locked door looking down at my son, who was in full-blown asthma attack," Rudi said.

Michael Rudi said when he started to pass out from his attack, the nurse locked the door.

"I believe that when I closed my eyes I wasn't going to wake up," he said. The Director of Student Health Services, Cheryl Selesky, said that parents must sign the medical release form each year, which allows students to carry their prescribed drugs with them in school.

This year, the district had no record of his Rudi's signature, said Selesky.
"I mean its common sense if I saw an animal on the street in distress I would probably stop to help, why wouldn't she help a child," Sue Rudi said. But Rudi is a senior, and his mother said the district has had records of his asthma throughout his years in the school.

She thinks her son could have died because of a technicality.

"How dare you deny my son something that we all take for granted, breath," said Sue Rudi. "Why didn't someone call 911?"

Selesky said the district is looking into whether proper procedures were followed by the school, and while nurses can't give medications without the proper authorization, it is district policy to call 911 when a student cannot breath.

Selesky could not explain why 911 was never called.

"I understand if you can't give it to him call 911," Sue Rudi said. "Why did you not call 911?"
There is no love or grace in government.
Without grace, the law can become a tyrant.

This One's Gonna Hurt You, Me, Everyone

You thought gas prices were high? Wait till the war on coal hits your electric bill.

Obama's war on coal hits your electric bill
These are the first real, market prices that take Obama's most recent anti-coal regulations into account, and they prove that he is keeping his 2008 campaign promise to make electricity prices "necessarily skyrocket."

The market-clearing price for new 2015 capacity – almost all natural gas – was $136 per megawatt. That's eight times higher than the price for 2012, which was just $16 per megawatt. In the mid-Atlantic area covering New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and DC the new price is $167 per megawatt. For the northern Ohio territory served by FirstEnergy, the price is a shocking $357 per megawatt.

Why the massive price increases? Andy Ott from PJM stated the obvious: "Capacity prices were higher than last year's because of retirements of existing coal-fired generation resulting largely from environmental regulations which go into effect in 2015." Northern Ohio is suffering from more forced coal-plant retirements than the rest of the region, hence the even higher price.

These are not computer models or projections or estimates. These are the actual prices that electric distributors have agreed to pay for new capacity. The costs will be passed on to consumers at the retail level.
Notice how this won't really kick in until after Obama thinks he is re-elected. The most important thing you can do this year is vote Obama out of a job.
The only thing that can stop this massive price hike now is an all-out effort to end Obama’s War on Coal and repeal this destructive regulatory agenda.

We're All Equal

I'm not!

The Intolerance of Liberalism
You know, when you get right down to it, maybe one of the best ways to explain liberalism to the uninitiated is to simply say that it is intolerant. It's a philosophy of "no." It's a philosophy of domination and "no," and it's not at all what people think it is.

It's not open-mindedness. It's not tolerance. It's not good intentions. It's not sweetness and light and love and all that. It's a philosophy of "no." It is intolerant. Socialism, fascism, communism, all forms of liberalism dictate behavior. You must conform. Individuals? Private businesses? You must conform to what they say. And if you don't they'll pass laws and regulations that force you to. And in order to have uniformity, there must be an enforcement mechanism, because people are not the same.

The People's Monster

Dennis Prager: Rational people fear big gov't, not big business
Whatever bad big corporations have done is dwarfed by the monstrous crimes – the mass enslavement of people, the deprivation of the most basic human rights, not to mention the mass murder and torture and genocide – committed by big governments.

How can anyone who thinks rationally believe that big corporations rather than big governments pose the greatest threat to humanity? The answer is that it takes a mind distorted by leftist dogma. If there is another explanation, I do not know what it is.
As for greed: Between hunger for money and hunger for power, the latter is incomparably more frightening. It is noteworthy that none of the 20th century’s monsters – Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao – were preoccupied with material gain. They loved power much more than money.

And that is why the left is much more frightening than the right. It craves power.
Government has guns, bombs, police, military - who is to stop an over-sized corrupt government from doing anything it wants? The most a corporation can do is bribe the corrupt big-government politician who wields the power - unless we deny them that power while we still can. And you want an all-powerful world government? So if the government goes all Hitler on us there will be no one to save the day? Maybe we'll be saved by extraterrestrials, yeah, that's the ticket.

The State of Government Schooling

NC Teacher Screams at Student: It's Criminal to Criticize Obama
The school district classified the exchange – which is obviously just another case of a pro-Obama teacher shoveling her views down students' throats – a "learning experience." It isn't. It's political intimidation, and it's just another example of how the American public school system has become an indoctrination tool for the left. This teacher should be suspended or fired forthwith, if only for incompetence.
You can listen to the whole exchange below.

That's not "learning experience," that's a train wreck. Listen to the lack of respect on the part of the teacher and on the part of the students. And the language that is tolerated. No one is learning in that environment.

The Unteachables: A Generation that Cannot Learn
The greatest tragedy of progressive education is not the students' lack of skills, but of teachable character.

Food Nazis

They're going to peoples homes trying to confiscate raw milk in California.
The report said Los Angeles County health department officials have unleashed door-to-door raw milk confiscation teams to threaten and intimidate raw dairy customers into surrendering raw milk products they legally purchased and own.
They don't care this much about illegal drugs. Where are all the people dying from raw milk ingestion?

Back into Bondage Again

A selection from the chapter on Liberty in The Lonely God by Ronald L. Dart

But now you have turned around and profaned my name; each of you has taken back the male and female slaves you had set free to go where they wished. You have forced them to become your slaves again. Therefore, this is what the LORD says: You have not obeyed me; you have not proclaimed freedom for your fellow countrymen. So I now proclaim 'freedom' for you, declares the LORD - 'freedom' to fall by the sword, plague and famine. I will make you abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth. Jeremiah 34: 16-17

These were not slaves of a conquered country, by the way. They were supposed to be contractual servants of their own people. But the contract had been broken.

What Jeremiah is telling them is this. Since they were not willing to accept the liberty defined by the law, they would be granted complete freedom. They would be free from God's blessings and protection, free to suffer whatever evil the world had in store for them.

And this is the reason we have so many terrible things in our lives. It is because we have made choices that have brought them our way. We have made choices that have taken us out of the road that God wanted us to walk. We have made choices that have brought bad things upon us, our own sins have opened the door for these things to come upon us.

We have exercised our freedom, and God has granted to us a liberty, a liberty to pain, destruction and loss that sin brings with it.

Freedom is a heavy burden to be borne. It is sad to say that some people, freed from servitude, want to go back. Just as Israel, freed from the slavery of Egypt wanted to go back, some men who have been freed from jail want to return. Men have actually committed crimes in order to get back into prison where they were fed and clothed, where they knew the routine and how to live. They have become so institutionalized that they can't live well outside. And so they go out and do the same things that they did before, and back they go.

There are some on the outside who are of the same mind. They want to be taken care of, they want to lay their freedom down, they want to be slaves. They want to be servants because then, someone else can take care of them.

Freedom, after all, is a terrible burden. I know it must be, because we complain about it so much. We have a litany of complaints about freedom. We ask, "Why does God allow war?" That's a complaint about our freedom. "Why does he allow innocent children to suffer?" That is also a complaint about our freedom. "Why did God allow the Holocaust?" Well that's a complaint against the freedom of both Nazis and Jews.

We have the freedom to do good. We have the freedom to hurt. We have the freedom to harm, and if we have it, so do others. If others have that freedom we have the freedom to suffer from what they do. Freedom is a terrible word. It's a frightening word, a dangerous word. And when you understand it, it is the freedom of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Remember that the way the Bible uses the word "knowledge" in Genesis refers to the experiencing of good and evil.

Adam and Eve made the choice of experiencing good and evil, and we have been living with that choice ever since. Man was told what to do and left free not to do it. He was told what not to do and left free to do it anyway. That's what freedom is. But we want selective freedom, we want to be free to do what we want to do, but not free enough to experience the consequences of what we have done.

The irony of it all is that as we exercise our freedom to choose, what we choose leads us back into bondage again and again and again. And this is why in His original law, God made provision for freeing people. For some people, it required freeing them again and again. In a lifetime, some people could have managed to be slaves and free every seven years. In the same way, some people today are in and out of prison time after time. In every generation, there are people who just can't seem to keep their life together. It may not lead to prison, but each, in his own way, goes back into bondage again.

Burglaries in the House of Theives

House Burglaries Baffle Staff, Police
Puzzling break-ins over the last month at the offices of at least three House members and several committees have U.S. Capitol Police gumshoes working to find a pattern and the culprits, with missing items ranging from cash and expensive computer equipment to autographed baseballs and alcohol.

In at least four of the cases, thieves broke into the offices at night when doors were locked, leading some staffers to believe they were victims of an inside job.
Inside job, eh? What a shock.

The Law of God is Glorious, but...

A couple of meaningful quotes from Law & Covenant by Ronald L. Dart.
The Law of God is glorious, but the law is not God. God is gracious. The law does not have that capacity. Without grace, the law can become a tyrant. With grace, it can become a way of life. God is not like a computer. God is personal, and kind, and merciful, and forgiving.
And, by the way, this is another reason why Statism/Communism/Fascism/Marxism, et al, can never work. There is no grace in government and there never can be.
I have often heard it said that no one can keep the law perfectly. The statement is entirely true, and completely irrelevant. The law is not given to define perfection. It is given as a guide to life. The purpose of the law is stated quite simply by the psalmist: "Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105). It is there so we won't fall down and hurt ourselves.

Will Smith Says Something Nice About America

I wonder if he realizes that? Will Smith is talking taxes in France, he was saying that he had no problem paying taxes until he heard that his tax rate in France would be 75 percent.

To me though, the money quote is this one:

"I am a black man who didn't go to college, yet I get to travel around the world and sell my movies and I feel very firmly that America is the only place on Earth that I could exist..."

--Will Smith
America has been the best country in the world for the most people - EVER. I wish more people would say it publicly because it is the truth. There are generations of Americans who DON'T KNOW THIS because they have been taught otherwise by people who don't have the children's or America's best interests at heart. Somehow it has become 'uncool' to love America, to the detriment of the whole world.

Walking in Darkness

He talks about the ground baby pills from China but hits a lot of other very important topics. It's not exactly 'Sunshine TV' but if we keep ignoring the growing evil in the world we will be overcome by it. Maybe we can't do anything directly about the rest of the world but we can do something right here in America. If not, what you're trying to ignore will come kicking in your door.

I've often wondered what it was like for those living in ancient Israel when God sent them a prophet, someone to warn them that they needed to turn back from the road they were traveling, to stop breaking the commandments and do the right thing. That prophet was always the least popular guy around, always, and that's putting it mildly. I'm not saying Glenn Beck is a prophet, certainly not in the sense that God speaks to him and tells him what to say and do, but in another sense he is pointing out that we are on the wrong track, that we need to turn back to God, that we are heading for trouble that we can't even imagine. And he's right. I think I know what it's like to live among people like ancient Israel now. God help us.

Pro-Choice White House Requires Registration of Unborn Children for Tours
The White House Visitors Office requires that an unborn child—still residing in utero—must be counted as a full human being when its parents register for a White House tour,
So, it's a full human to take the tour but just a mass of cells when you want to abort kill it? Did I get that right? Whatever is convenient to the situation.

Law and Covenant

Been rereading a great book. I forgot how good it really is.
Is the law of God beyond our reach? No, not in any of its parts. We don't have to steal, but we do. We don't have to lie, but we do. So what is it about sin that is so bad? The problem with sin is that it is a relationship killer. It alienates. Take adultery as a classic example. An indiscretion like adultery is like taking an axe to a tree and cutting great chunks out of it. Even if the adultery is undiscovered, the relationship is damaged, sometimes beyond repair. And it isn't only the relationship with the mate that is damaged. The relationship with God is damaged as well.

Sin involves alienation from God. There is no better illustration of this than the story of Adam and Eve. The happy pair were placed in Paradise, and given very simple instructions: You can eat of all the trees in this garden except one. Leave it strictly alone. How hard could this have been? All they had to do was believe God. Think about it. God said that if you eat of this tree, you will die. If they had really believed that, would they have eaten of it? Would you? What they did was a breach of trust. What is your reaction when someone won't believe you, won't trust you? Doesn't it damage the relationship? Or at least reveal that the relationship is in trouble?

I went on for years accepting a simple equation from the Garden of Eden. God gave Adam one commandment. Don't eat of that tree. Adam broke the commandment and God expelled the first couple from the garden. Then one day I was studying the Book of Hosea and found that God, through the prophet, condemned the men of that generation and saying this of them: "Like Adam, they have broken the covenant - they were unfaithful to me there" (Hosea 6:7 NIV)

A covenant is not mentioned in the creation story, but it is implied. God gave Adam a commandment and presumably Adam agreed. Then, he broke covenant with God. This seems to be a much more serious matter than for a person to sin when not in covenant with God.

So Adam and Eve ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. And they died. But here is what is interesting about this story. God did not kill them. He simply separated himself from them - and incidentally, cut them off from the Tree of Life. What this says to me is that the result of this sin was not punishment from God, but the consequence of being alienated from God.

This is underlined by what happened when Cain killed his brother Abel. God did not kill him either. He exiled him. And Cain, and all the rest of the children of Adam and Eve, died. They died because they were away from God - the source of all life. This is what the "fall of man" is all about. The result was, I think, not so much a change in human nature, but a change in man's environment and a loss of man's relationship with God. If you read the Genesis story with that in mind, it is clear enough right there. There is not a word about a change in the nature of man, but much about the change in man's environment - particularly his alienation from the source of life.

How's That 'Reset' Working Out For Ya

Russia Threatens Pre-Emptive Strike on Missile Sites
Russia’s top military officer has threatened to carry out a pre-emptive strike on U.S.-led NATO missile defense facilities in Eastern Europe if Washington goes ahead with its controversial plan to build a missile shield.
I thought Obama wanted to scrap the missile shield, I guess he's just not moving fast enough for Russia. Russia is worried Obama won't have a second term.

Farrakhan Knows Something

Farrakhan Unleashed: Obama Will Be Assassinated by ‘Hardcore Racists, Tea Party Zealots’ in His Second Term (PLUS: They Have Already Found the Muslim to Do It!)

He's preparing his followers, telling them what to believe.
The Nation of Islam leader got more specific with exactly who would be killing the President, calling out the Tea Party and Republicans specifically.

"If our brother wins, and I believe he will, the anger of those hardcore racists, the Tea Party zealots and the Republicans who want to make him a one-term president will be such that perhaps a patsy or two is already being prepared as in the case of John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan, James Earl Ray."

The Minister finishes by declaring the assassination conspiracy will involve a Muslim patsy that has already been chosen.

"I believe they want a Muslim to kill President Obama. And I believe they may already have somebody in mind that they working on."
It may be that Obama is just disposable tool to bring about the revolution they so desperately want. His assassination (and subsequent blaming of Tea Partiers and Republicans - white people) would divide this country like it hasn't seen since the civil war. Just look at what happened in the Martin/Zimmerman case. Can you imagine Obama assassinated and Republicans accused? I don't want to see that. The left is playing with gasoline and matches - in the house. Farrakhan has a flame thrower.

For the record, the Tea Party/Republicans want to bring the country together, not divide it. We want peace and prosperity for ALL. We want peaceful change of leadership and we wish all American citizens really understood and lived the real American way, working toward the lofty vision our Constitution pointed to. Yes, we're frustrated, but we're not hateful.

I Think You're Mistaken

New Obama slogan has long ties to Marxism, socialism

No, not about that. Ties to Marxism and socialism have been rife throughout Obama's campaign and presidency. This is where I think the author is wrong:
The Obama campaign apparently didn't look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, "Forward" — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.
They know exactly the history of the symbols and words they use and they use them proudly. You may make an innocent mistake once in a while, but not every time. This is a theme with Obama, it's his thing, it's what he is. His actions match the history.

Cutting Through the Subsidy Lies

A good explanation of how subsidies work. Oil company subsidies kick in after they produce the product, as tax write-offs of cost of production. The product is then taxed by the government, producing massive revenue for the government (the people). Green energy subsidies are given directly from taxpayer coffers to companies up front, before anything has been produced, regardless of anything being produced, and is squandered and wasted, leaving a bankrupt company and no jobs. So, which is better?

If you need a bigger picture this guy does a good job of explaining it, just mind the language.

Solyndra Was Not The Only Failure
SunPower, after receiving $1.5 billion from DOE, is reorganizing, cutting jobs.

First Solar, after receiving $1.46 billion from DOE, is reorganizing, cutting jobs.

Solyndra, after receiving $535 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

Ener1, after receiving $118.5 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

Evergreen Solar, after receiving millions of dollars from the state of Massachusetts, filed for bankruptcy protection.

SpectraWatt, backed by Intel and Goldman Sachs, filed for bankruptcy protection.

Beacon Power, after receiving $43 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

Abound Solar, after receiving $400 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

Amonix, after receiving $5.9 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

Babcock & Brown (an Australian company), after receiving $178 million from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

A123 Systems, after receiving $279 million from DOE, shipped some bad batteries and is barely operating. It cut jobs.

Solar Trust for America, after receiving $2.1 billion loan guarantee from DOE, filed for bankruptcy protection.

Nevada Geothermal, after receiving $98.5 million from DOE, warns of potential defaults in new SEC filings.

And that's a partial list. Can Obama and the DOE pick 'em, or what? And, all those bankruptcies have an effect on green jobs that Obama promised.
See #1 in my previous post.
1. Greatly expanded government spending for every conceivable means of getting rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully as possible.

Real Life

Just a man rambling about the whys and wherefores of our energy policies. Mild language alert.

How'd They Do?

A part of that plan, of course, is to induce the gradual surrender of American sovereignty piece by piece and step by step to various international organizations of which the United Nations is the outstanding but far from the only example. Here are the aims for the United States:
1. Greatly expanded government spending for every conceivable means of getting rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully as possible.
2. Higher, and then much higher taxes.
3. An increasingly unbalanced budget despite the higher taxes.
4. Wild inflation of our currency.
5.Government control of prices, wages and materials supposedly to combat inflation.
6. Greatly increase socialistic controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives. This is to be accompanied, naturally and automatically, by a correspondingly huge increase in the size of our bureaucracy and in both the cost and reach of our domestic government.
7. Far more centralization of power on Washington and the practical elimination of our state lines. There is a many faceted drive at work to have our state lines eventually mean no more within the nation than our county lines do now within the states.
8.A steady advance of federal aid to and control over our educational system leading to complete federalization of our public education.
9. A constant hammering into the American consciousness of the horror of modern warfare, the (unintelligible) is of the absolute necessity of peace always, on communist terms of course.
10. The consequent willingness of the American to allow the steps of appeasement by our government to mount to a piecemeal surrender of the rest of the free world and of the United States itself.

Government OUT OF CONTROL

Is this how Obama uses his big stick, on law-abiding citizens he doesn't like?

Is this the philosophy Obama governs by?
"I was in a meeting once and I gave an analogy to my staff about my philosophy of enforcement, and I think it was probably a little crude and maybe not appropriate for the meeting, but I'll go ahead and tell you what I said: It was kind of like how the Romans used to, you know, conquer villages in the Mediterranean. They'd go in to a little Turkish town somewhere, they'd find the first five guys they saw and they'd crucify them. Then, you know, that town was really easy to manage for the next few years."
This is not how America operates, this is how Nazi Germany, Stalin's Russia, Mao's China operates. Richard Nixon is a saint compared to what Obama's administration is doing. And mainstream media and half the country seems to have no problem with it at all.

Should Have Thrown More Money at Her

Swiss Woman Dies After Giving Up Food, Water and Trying to Live Off... Sunlight
Swiss newspaper Tages-Anzeiger reports that a woman starved to death after embarking on a spiritual diet that required her to stop eating or drinking and live off sunlight alone.
Is that the perfect analogy for the green insanity our government is subsidizing or what?

Abuses?

House Democrats launch probe of alleged bribery at Wal-Mart
A pair of top House Democrats disclosed Monday they are investigating allegations that Wal-Mart's Mexican subsidiary paid bribes to speed permits for new-store openings.
This is Mexico. That's how business is done in Mexico. The country and government are corrupt. That's why, personally, I have no interest in ever going to Mexico. But I find it odd that, if I were in Mexico and I had to slip someone a few bucks in order to get something done, the U.S. government might have something to say about it. Besides that, our government is rapidly heading in the same direction.

Doesn't Work That Way

Man Busted Stealing Gas From Cops After Posting Picture of Himself Giving Middle Finger
"I got a little bit of gas. I ain't gonna lie but not much. I couldn't get much. I tried but there wasn’t much in it,"
I'm not surprised he didn't get much because I don't think you can even siphon gas out of cars anymore, they have a block in the tube that prevents a hose from reaching the tank. I had to change the fuel pump on a 1994 car and it was impossible to siphon the gas out that way. I learned that car manufacturers have added that block. That's why gas thieves drill a hole in the bottom of the gas tank to steal gas now.
The station plans on getting lockable gas caps now.
More government waste.

Why Indeed?

Obama lawyer: Birth certificate irrelevant to eligbility
The White House appears to be acting as if the Obama birth certificate is of no consequence in establishing the fact of Obama's birth," Zullo continued.

"Instead of producing the birth certificate to the New Jersey secretary of state and arguing to Judge Masin that the document was legitimate, Obama’s legal counsel did everything she could to keep the document from coming into evidence. Why?"
If he has a birth certificate that proves he was born in Hawaii, why is there so much cover up and misdirection? Not to mention the amount of money that has been spent fighting these legal battles over what they say is nothing.

Welfare Fraud: Lottery Winner Caught Collecting Food Stamps Now Facing Four Years in Jail
A little more than a month after it was revealed that lottery-winner Amanda Clayton was still collecting government benefits via food stamps, she has been arrested and is facing up to four years in jail for fraud.
OK, that makes sense. It's illegal to commit welfare fraud. Then there is this paragraph:
Republican lawmakers are now taking steps to pass a bill that makes it illegal for lottery winners to collect food stamps. The bills, one for the house and one for the senate, stipulate that winners of more than $1,000 must have their names cross-checked with the Department of Human Services before receiving government assistance.
Why? It's already illegal, why do we need another law to make it illegal?

It reminds me of hate-crime laws. Murder is already illegal, murdering someone because you hate them is even more illegal? It depends why you hate them though. And who is doing the hating. All hate is not equal.

Loose Nut

Farrakhan warning: people tomorrow — maybe in a few days — are going to kill their leaders who have been selling them out.
"You want to be leaders, right? You sure, you sure? You better check yourself," he said. "Because leadership is nothing to play with, because people tomorrow — maybe in a few days — are going to kill their leaders who have been selling them out. That's why we're in the shape we’re in right now because we had corrupt people or people who started out good and got corrupted."
I don't pretend to know what this guy is talking about but it makes me wonder if he means Obama, Sharpton, and/or Jesse Jackson - he seems to be talking about black leaders. Or maybe he's just running his mouth. He has spoken of an Obama assassination before. He has made it known of his displeasure with Obama, calling him the "first Jewish President."

Time will tell.

Glenn Beck NRA Speech

I wish every American would listen to this speech, especially when he gets into the meat of it talking about George Washington and the spring of nations. You can find the full speech here, the last video at the bottom.

If you don't know your history you will misunderstand what's happening in the present.

Something is Different

I occasionally have reason to call the police while at work to remove someone who is causing a disturbance. It doesn't happen often but it is routine, or at least it has been. For years they come, ask who and where, and ask them to leave or trespass them. I have the right and I don't abuse it, if it gets to that point they have been warned and they know what is coming.

This past year I've noticed the police don't want to do it. Not a particular officer, I could understand that, but anyone who comes out. Earlier this year they came and said they had to warn them first - I already had warned them. And I'm not talking about an iffy situation. In this situation over a hundred, mostly underage, kids partying in a suite meant for 6 people. They brought their own sound system, I could hear it on the other side of the property. Smoking, drinking and all the rowdiness that goes with it at 1, 2, 3 am. I'm getting calls like crazy from other guest wanting money back or just otherwise rudely telling me to stop it.

OK, so they warn them and leave. They don't stop. I call the police back and they do come out and kick them out - thank you - but they see all the bottles of alcohol - many broken in the room - and tell them all to get in their cars and leave. Now the kids are all over the property hiding from the police, afraid to get in their cars. But the police didn't care anyway.

Tonight I had the same problem on a smaller scale, about 25 people. So the police come to me and say they need to see a signed contract stating our policy. "Seriously?" I show them the "contract." I meet them at the room, they are already inside, people are leaving, beeping horns and otherwise disturbing the peace further. I look inside and there is a hookah all set up and the kids are dismantling it. The police officer is apologizing to them and asking them how much they paid for the hookah (I know it was a hookah because that's what it said on the box), the place is trashed, beer bottles everywhere. So, everyone gets in their cars and leave. I was as nice as can be to the police, always am, but they pretty much gave me the cold shoulder, like I was the problem for getting them to remove a bunch of partiers disturbing my other guests. I would have liked to trespass them all but I know how much paperwork and time that would entail so I don't even go there.

There have been other occasions but not so outrageous. I don't feel like the police are my friend anymore. I don't feel like they have my back. If they absolutely have to help then, well OK, they'll do the least amount possible. This is only in the past year. Things have changed.

Does Not Compute

Wind farms 'not major bird mincers'
Many bird species are unaffected by wind farms, concludes a study carried out by UK bird charities.

"There's certainly no indication in the species we covered in this study that collision mortality is causing a big problem, but we need to bear in mind that it didn't cover the bigger raptors where we know collisions tend to happen," said Jeremy Wilson, head of science at RSPB Scotland.
Why would you leave the birds where you know collisions tend to happen out of the study and then say you don't see any problem with wind farms? That's like studying drunk driving, leaving out drivers who are actually drunk and saying you don't see a problem with drunk driving.

Irresponsible And Unethical

Harvard Prof. Alan Dershowitz: Zimmerman Arrest Affidavit 'Irresponsible And Unethical'

"Most affidavits of probable cause are very thin. This is so thin that it won't make it past a judge on a second degree murder charge," Dershowitz said. "There's simply nothing in there that would justify second degree murder."

Dershowitz said that the elements that would constitute that crime are non-existent in the affidavit. "It's not only thin, it's irresponsible," said Dershowitz.

Dershowitz went on to strongly criticize Corey's decision to move forward with the case against Zimmerman. "I think what you have here is an elected public official who made a campaign speech last night for reelection when she gave her presentation and overcharged. This case will not – if the evidence is no stronger than what appears in the probable cause affidavit – this case will result in an acquittal."
The affidavit reads like the original one sided innocent kid doing nothing wrong chased and gunned down by raving lunatic news stories that started this whole mess. It's already been pretty well established that that's not how this happened, there's a whole lot of shades of gray in this case. Too bad the government officials are more interested in being politically correct than establishing the truth. By allowing the lies to continue to be told like this they are setting up a very dangerous situation, there have already been a couple of revenge attacks from this case.

Old School

Yes, You Do

"We do not prosecute by public pressure or by petition. We prosecute based on the facts on any given case as well as the laws of the state of Florida," Corey said.
But for the public pressure there would probably be no prosecution in this case. There was no grand jury because you could not guarantee the outcome you wanted. Now you have to worry about what happens if Zimmerman is found innocent. Setting the race dogs loose has put the state in a tight spot.

The State of Journalism

"One stupid reporter with a local publication misquoted the entire thing, and they all jumped on one press account without verifying," said Edson.
And they do it over and over and over again.

If the Facts Don't Fit, Make Stuff Up

Gwen Ifill and PBS Join the Racial Mob With False Reference to Zimmerman as White"

The dispute over the killing of Martin did not spark a national debate about race. It was the mainstream media, of which Ifill is a prominent member, that forced this national debate about race on everyone by desperately--through omissions, edits, and selective half-truths--trying to use the Martin tragedy as a way to advance their political agenda of getting their audience to see America as a nation of systemic racial inequalities and prejudices.

Quote of the Day

Have you noticed that what modest economic improvements we have seen occurred during the much-lamented "gridlock" in Washington? Nor is this unusual. If you check back through history, doing nothing has a far better track record than that of politicians intervening in the economy.

People who believe in evolution in biology often believe in creationism in government. In other words, they believe that the universe and all the creatures in it could have evolved spontaneously, but that the economy is too complicated to operate without being directed by politicians.

Hatred Helps No One

Unbelievable Audio From the New Black Panthers on Bloody, Anti-Capitalist 'Race War' Against White Devils

"Absolutely, we want the complete removal of capitalism. Why? Because capitalism sets up a class structure and a class society. As I said in the beginning of the "haves" and "have nots," [the] pivotal point is racism, it is racism that keeps them perpetuating a capitalistic motion. So yes, we want capitalism completely eradicated, especially from the minds and hearts and dealings of black people."
How can so many people have so many things so wrong? Capitalism does not set up class structure or class society. No matter what governmental system is employed there are classes of people - some always have more than others. In Communism 1% have everything and 99% have nothing. I guess you can say that's about as fair as can be gotten for the highest percentage of people but then you have to live like North Koreans - any volunteers? I venture to say that even among North Koreans you can find ways to divide people, like between someone who only gets rice to eat and someone who gets rice and a little flavoring. Perhaps some who have done a good job spying for the state get a piece of meat occasionally. Of course, if you are the state you have it made - you can eat whatever and whenever your heart desires. I'm guessing the people of the Black Panthers are assuming they will be the state, not one of the masses. Never assume.

The thing is, only under Capitalism are the classes fluid. You are not stuck where you are and you control what level you live. It might take some work, though, it's not always easy. A penny-less college student struggling to attend class and occupy rallies at 21 could easily be upper middle class by 31 - if the right classes are taken to get a decent degree and effort is put into it. A new (legal) immigrant can work hard and slowly build a business he can be proud of and that more than takes care of the needs of his growing family. It has happened over and over in America. And it's not like the commercials for weight loss pills - "results not typical" - success is typical in America if you work (there's that 4 letter word) the system.

It's all about mindset. We have become increasingly used to getting what we want NOW, but that is not always realistic. Work + Time = Success. And you have to work smart. Digging ditches is a lot of work but if you stay at that level thinking you will own the company one day you are delusional. Of course, you may be satisfied at that level - that's OK! You can rise to the level you are comfortable with, and that may change as circumstances change. You have choices.

Where does all this rage against capitalism come from? It comes from envy, covetousness, greed, and lust. The devil promises a lot but you get less than nothing on delivery. We have been fed and our children are increasingly being fed more and more lies and empty promises. They don't learn how to think at school, they don't learn how to succeed, how to excel. In fact, they learn the exact opposite. Their programming is purposely corrupted by the communist sympathizing educational system to weaken and demoralize them in order to use them against us.

If the New Black Panthers - the black KKK - put as much into bettering themselves as individuals as they do in hating whitey and capitalism they would be doing alright, but for listening to the devil's lies.

I don't know if this makes any sense, just ranting off the top of my head and I'm out of time. It's getting frustrating listening to all the rhetoric lately.

One more thing. Even in Communist countries like the former Soviet Union - I use that example because I know it to be a fact - there was capitalism under the table. There was always a huge black market of goods - clothes, food, gasoline, etc. I knew a girl from Brazil who hated capitalism, but she would come here for vacation. Go figure. But she always said she had little underground businesses going to earn a little something extra - tax free. Capitalism and free enterprise work for EVERYONE. It's the fairest system human beings have come up with and it especially excels when tempered with proper respect and fear of God and His commandments.

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong. A Thousand Times Wrong

Bill Cosby blames 'The Gun'
"Without a gun, I don't see Mr. Zimmerman approaching Trayvon by himself," Mr. Cosby explained. "The power-of-the-gun mentality had him unafraid to confront someone. Even police call for backup in similar situations."

"When you carry a gun, you mean to harm somebody, kill somebody," he said
There is a great deal of responsibility that comes with legal concealed carry of a weapon, it weighs heavily on you. If anything, you are less likely to confront a person, much more likely to let bygones be bygones. This is true for the vast majority of concealed permit holders. Concealed carry permit holders do not WANT to shoot anyone but they understand that there are people out there that do. Bill Cosby is wrong about this.

From a commentary on self-defense from Warrior Talk:

I teach my students that they should seek "distance from disorder" in their lives, and unless something shocks the consciousness of humanity, to mind their own business. Now I will also tell you that there is a vast gulf of difference between a suspicious black kid walking around the neighborhood, and an active shooter killing people in a restaurant. One is none of your personal business and more of a job for the police, the other...if you happen to be there, is in fact your business and your action can save many lives.

The difference between the two extremes is also one of timing. In the former, nothing has happened. In the latter, the bad guy has already opened the game. In one you are not certain of what is really happening, but with the other it is as clear as a slap in the face.
The power-of-the-gun-mentality does exist though - mainly in the minds of gang bangers and other assorted criminals.

Conformity Enforcers

"As you know, if you go to the average American newsroom you can have diversity of race, diversity of gender, diversity of orientation — everything except the only diversity that matters, which is diversity of thought," he said. "And the left does not want to celebrate diversity of thought. They rage against so-called intolerance, yet they themselves are stupefyingly intolerant."

"They are conformity enforcers,” he explained,” but they've co-opted all the light, fluffy, happy, smiley-faced buzzwords."

"That's the classic trick taught to us by Orwell explicitly in '1984.' People of a conservative disposition read that book and think he's warning of a dystopian future. People of the left read it and use it as a manual."

Never Flip Off a Cop

St. Cloud officer accidentally shot by fellow officer
Officer John Nettles said he felt threatened during a drug raid and fired his gun, but he struck Officer Scott Wetherhold's middle finger on his right hand.

True Colors

"We got to do something about these Asians coming in and opening up businesses and dirty shops, They ought to go. I'm going to say that right now. But we need African-American businesspeople to be able to take their places, too."

--Ward 8 D.C. Councilman Marion Barry
I'm guessing Asians don't vote for Marion Barry. Or does he harbor true racial prejudice? Why doesn't he steal the businesses and dirty shops from Asians and give them to random Africa-Americans in his district - worked out well for Zimbabwe.

They really call his district Ward 8? It sounds like a wing at a psychiatric hospital.

Michelle Malkin has more: Marion Barry and the Left's Hatred of Asian Entrepreneurs
As documented by my Twitter curation start-up Twitchy.com, Barry posted photos of supposedly hazardous stores -- including Chinese restaurants surrounded not by trash or toxic waste, but by Plexiglas barriers and reinforced doors. Barry explained that Asian-owned businesses that had the audacity to protect themselves from crime were "lowering standards" in his constituents' communities.

In Barry's bizarre world, law-abiding entrepreneurs who take steps to prevent robberies are the ones who threaten Ward 8's quality of life -- not the armed thugs who threaten honest livelihoods in the first place. Vigilant wealth creators taking care of their families? Scourge of D.C. Profanity-spewing drug addicts inciting hatred against successful achievers of the American Dream? Model citizens!

Crazy Barry doesn't just need another round of rehab. He needs a reality check.
Maybe it is a hospital wing.

How Dare You Pull Over Tyler Perry, Now You Must Pay

Tyler Perry Pulled Over, Accuses White Cops of Racial Profiling
Perry's predicament began when he admittedly made a left turn from a far-right lane -- a trick his security detail taught him, to make sure he wasn't being followed, Perry explained on Facebook.

Two white Atlanta police officers pulled him over, but apparently did not realize they'd just stopped Tyler Perry.
So he should get a pass because he is Tyler Perry? Did his security detail mention that it is illegal and dangerous to make a left turn from the far-right lane?
When Perry explained his illegal turn was to make sure no one was tailing him, one officer allegedly asked, "Why do you think someone would be following you?" Perry said in his post.
That is the first question that popped into my mind when I read that.
But then a second police cruiser pulled up, and a black Atlanta policeman emerged. "He took one look at me and had that 'Oh No' look on his face," Perry recounted.

The black officer spoke "in a hushed tone" to the two white officers, Perry said. "After that, one of the officers stayed near his car while one came back, very apologetic."
Instead of immediately thinking racism, perhaps he should consider that maybe the black officer recognized him, was a fan, and asked the other officers to give him a break.
The Atlanta police department's Office of Professional Standards is looking into Tyler Perry's racial-profiling claims, E! News reports.
Of course, waste more money investigating the delusions of a paranoid star.

The Perils of Popularity

Hackers hitting Macs with virus
"All the stuff the bad guys have learned for doing attacks in the PC world is now starting to transition to the Mac world,"
I got a chuckle out of the next quote.
"Mac has said for a long time that they are not vulnerable to PC malware, which is true; they are vulnerable to Mac malware."
