It's Symbolic of Their Struggle Against Reality

2 weeks before the election and so far we're told Kerry will make the wheelchair bound get up and walk and the Republicans are already keeping millions and millions of black voters from the polls. (Of course, the Democrats would never, ever resort to using any tactics that might cause someones vote to be thrown away. No, never!) We are so lucky to have the Democrats there for us to show us how these terrible Republicans are stealing our country right out from under us. Those dirty Reublicans are all that are between us and the utopia we deserve and only the Democrats can give us.

They Think We're Stupid

They must think we're stupid. Every election cycle they treat us to a generous portion of slop. And every election cycle I feel totally soiled by the time the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November gets here. In fact, I'm insulted by their assumption that I'm stupid enough to believe their innuendo and slander. But apparently such drivel works, else they wouldn't keep doing it.

Not me, brudda.

And the great thing about the God of the Bible is his insistence that we think. "Prove all things; hold fast to that which is good." (I Thess. 5:21) "Prove me now herewith." (Mal. 3:10)

God does not want you to be manipulated by political or religious leaders. If there is one thing that ticked Jesus off, it was that very thing as practiced by the Sadducees and Pharisees. Freedom is a precious thing that propaganda will jeopardize. Jesus knew what he meant when he said the truth will set you free.

Because the foolish thing of God is wiser than men, and the weak thing of God is stronger than men. I Corinthians 1:25
