Earthquake

The earthquake in the Indian Ocean must have really been terrible to live through. The stories and pictures coming out of those areas are amazing. The first article I linked to includes the story of a reporter who was swimming when the tidal wave hit. Unreal.

An Italian scientist said the earthquake was so strong it even disturbed the rotation of the Earth and "the whole planet is vibrating." I wonder how it disturbed the rotation of the Earth? What does he mean by that? The Drudge Report is saying it "Moved the entire island of Sumatra about 100 feet toward the southwest." That's incredible.

Unfortunately, I think this will pale in comparison to what will be coming on this planet in the future.

And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. Isaiah 2:19

Without question, more of these quakes will be coming.
