3 Cranes

When I went to work last night there were 3 sandhill cranes in the field next to the hotel standing in a puddle not 10 feet from the driveway. 2 were sleeping with their heads tucked under their wing and the other was, apparently, standing guard. They were there all night.

This will be interesting to watch. Maybe it will fizzle, maybe not. The facts are, many fanatical non-Muslims believe there needs to be a Jewish Temple built on that site to fulfill end time prophecy (some try to take it upon themselves to bring it about) and Muslims, obviously, are dead-set against it. The Temple Mount Faithful have a cornerstone, have been in training and are ready to go.

The people of modern Egypt are Arabs and not the descendants of the original Egyptians, and, while all Jews are Israelites, not all Israelites are Jews. The ancestors of those Israelites have already paid dearly many times over. If not for them Arabs would still be wandering the deserts living in tents. They have had a chance to make good with what was given to them but they blew it. It takes individuals with positive dreams and will and perseverance to make a great country. If you are filled with hatred, you get what you sow. The Jews took the same desert the Arabs have and made an extremely productive, beautiful little country out of it.
