Blow Up a Plane...

kill 270 innocent people - get 8 years in prison and return home to a hero's welcome. Thanks Scotland. I can appreciate compassion but there are people who just need to be blotted out of existence, and this man is one of them. Letting this man not only live, but go free does much more harm than good. It does harm to the families of the victims, it does harm to Scotland, it does harm to what little stability and peace there is in the world, it even does harm to the people who support the terrorists because it further emboldens them to more destructive behavior - which will only lead to their eventual destruction.
