I'm #1

I'm #1 on Google when you search for i live in florida and i saw a huge hairy silver spider with orange spots, what kind was it? Yeah!

I actually have pictures of it on this site, click here and if it doesn't do it for you, scroll down near the bottom. It's a cool looking spider but I wouldn't want to mess with it.

What's the Password?

James (4 years old) wanted to play a game on Joshua's computer but Joshua put a password on his screensaver so no one could use it when he was in school. I told James he needed a password and I didn't know what it was. "See, you have to type a password and click here." James said, "Open sesame, please," and clicked the button. I started cracking up because he was so serious. Then he reached down, said "I know" and hit the reset button - Bingo! He was in.

UFO Fever

Dozens of UFO sightings excite Iran

I saw a video on the news but I'm not sure it was actual footage in Iran or what, but it was pretty clearly a flying saucer. It sort of looked like old movie footage without the strings.

An air force officer in the Revolutionary Guards was quoted in the reformist Vagha-ye Etefaghiyeh daily saying Iran's Supreme National Security Council should investigate whether these visitors from afar had hostile intent, according to Reuters.

Stupid Criminal Tricks

Palestinian style: Robbers Die Trying to Hold-Up Suicide Bomber

Hamas said the bomber was on his way to try to infiltrate into Israel, accompanied by another Hamas member and a guide, when they were stopped by the armed men.

The robbers forced the bomber to lie on the ground and tried to steal the bomb, but the militant detonated it, killing all three. The other Hamas man and the guide escaped.

They even try to steal each others bombs? How bizarre.

There have been cases of rival groups stealing each other’s explosives, but no group claimed the two gunmen, and their families did not go to the hospital to take the bodies, indicating that the two were not militants, who are revered in Palestinian society.

The Enemy Within

Hillary to Arab paper: Bush endangers Mideast

U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton, speaking to London-based Arab-language daily Asharq al-Awsat, gives aid and comfort to the enemy.

The former first lady, whose remarks were published throughout the Middle East and Muslim world, said the "stubborn and arrogant" Bush administration has refused to admit mistakes which are endangering the lives of Iraqis and American soldiers and threatening stability in the region.

Clinton told the paper, according to AFP, the U.S. is in trouble because it can't abandon Iraq but is unable to provide the necessary manpower to run the country because of its inability to garner international support.

This was broadcast all over the Arab world. Do you see anything wrong with this? Where is the outrage against this behavior?

The United States of America cannot continue to exist with the divisions it has today. The entire population should rise in outrage against this and she should be embarrased out of office. United we stand, Divided we fall is not just a cute saying. It happens to be a truthful expression. I don't know how long this country has but I will be surprised if in ten years the United States still exists as a country. We are not willing to seriously defend ourselves against a self-proclaimed enemy, being more worried about what they think about us than whether they can kill us. The population is split evenly, polarized around two completely incompatable philosophies. The middle ground is nowhere to be found even after an enemy attack on our own shores. This enemy needs to be put down but the full weight of the power of the United States , needed to defeat this enemy, cannot be used.

What people like Hillary Clinton fail to understand, (or perhaps they understand fully, which is even more digraceful) is that the world wants to see the United States fall. They don't want a strong U.S., they don't want us to be able to defend ourselves. They don't want us to live as well as we do and they want to have control over us, over every part of our lives. They want this because they want to be what we are. But we worked hard (at least our forefathers did) and built this country from nothing. We paid for it with our own sweat and blood. Now we have a generation who doesn't understand that, and the world, like a carjacker, wants to take it away from us. But they will never be able to appreciate what we have and could never duplicate it in a million years. Do we just let them have it?

What a shame.

Slow to Learn

He Who Hesitates

Since the cease-fire, our troops have had to endure the ludicrous charade of "negotiations" with the Fallujah city fathers - breaking the rule that we never negotiate with terrorists or their surrogates. The resulting "agreement" to turn in heavy weapons led to the mockery of sending the Marines a pick-up truck full of junk while the terrorists gained weeks to prepare their defenses, construct ambushes and organize a far tougher resistance than they could have presented two weeks ago.

Our enemies are laughing at our folly, while creating a myth of heroic resistance in Fallujah - for which we will pay dearly in the months and years ahead.

Make no mistake: There can be no compromise in Fallujah. If we stop one inch short of knocking down the last door in the last house in the city, our enemies will be able to present the Battle of Fallujah to their sympathizers as a great victory: They fought the Americans to a stalemate (with the implication that, next time, the Americans will be defeated and driven from the Middle East).

No More Property Rights

You should get right over to Nealz Nuze today. Scroll down to Florida Legislative Outrage and begin reading. Our government is corrupt from top to bottom and bottom to top. If you think government should take care of you from the cradle to the grave, you're crazy. What's next? Too many people in this town, time to cull the population. Don't think it hasn't been thought of already.

They want to build a convention center in Kissimmee and the deal was they had to raise the bed tax by a penny in order to secure financing and backing for the project. Well, they got the penny increase and now they are back peddling on the convention center, dragging their feet, and talking about where the money might better be used. Trust the government at your own peril.

It continues to amaze me, even though I know better, how low these people will go.

Beware the Paypal Hoax

I received an e-mail today saying someone had sent me over $200.00 for an auction payment. It looked real and I went into my account (not by the link in the e-mail) to check and it was not there. Apparently, you're supposed to click the link in the e-mail and put in your password, which gives the crook you're password and he can wipe out you're account.

How can these people get away with this? We can't trace these back? If they come from overseas perhaps we should put more pressure on these countries to crack down on it. If they don't, cut off access to the Web for that country. There is no inalienable right to the World Wide Web.

If people didn't fall for this stuff they would stop doing it.

At The Risk of Becoming A Theme

Escaping Arab Failure

WE shouldn't be discouraged by the recent round of violence in Iraq. It was predictable. But there were two disheartening signs:

* We should be troubled that, in this bloody month, none of the insurgents waved an alternative constitution - unless we count their perversion of the Koran. None of those violent men is fighting for freedom - they're fighting to strangle liberty in the cradle. They are, without exception, forces of reaction, not liberation, no matter how madly al-Jazeera twists the facts.

* Nor did the general Arab population or its leaders take a public stand against those who would renew their oppression. And those who will not defend their own freedom do not deserve to be defended by others.

With sufficient troops, we can force Iraq's Arabs to behave. But we can't force them to succeed.

If Iraq collapses into medieval fantasies and blood feuds, we still may be proud of having given this crippled civilization a last, great chance to heal itself. We've made mistakes, but their impact is minor compared to the unwillingness of Iraq's Arabs, Sunni or Shi'a, to build a free and civil society of their own.

In the United States, campus-generated political correctness was never more than a joke - capable of turning somber conservatives purple but unable to alter anything that matters. The far more dangerous form of political correctness is that which prevails in the dream-world of diplomacy: We pretend that all civilizations have equal merit.

But they don't. It's time to face up to the functional and moral collapse of the Arab world - if we can't describe the problem honestly, we shall never deal with it effectively.

Arab civilization has failed.

Arab civilization offers its people no promising future, only rhetoric about a past whose achievements have been as exaggerated as they were impermanent. The present is a bloody, heartless muddle.

It's a matter of culture, not race. In the free atmosphere of America, Arabs do as well as anyone else. All populations have their share of talent - but the oppressive environment of the Middle East enervates those individuals it does not crush entirely.

The failure of Arab civilization in our time is the greatest such disaster in mankind's history. And, bitter though we find the proposition, the failure is so colossal that it cannot be neatly contained. Whether in Iraq today or elsewhere tomorrow, we cannot fully extract ourselves from this problem simply because our enemies won't let go.

If Iraq chooses failure, we can leave. But we'll be back, somewhere in the Middle East. Because, as we saw on 9/11, the Middle East will continue to come to us. Blame is the opium of the Arabs, and the sweetest blame for their failures is that directed at the United States (and, of course, Israel). It is our power itself, not its uses, that enrages Arabs trapped in their self-made weakness.

The oft-cited examples of the Arab world's problems, from a lack of interest in secular education and a poor work ethic to staggering corruption and the oppression of women, are symptoms, not root causes, of Arab failure. Past a certain analytical point, we come up against the wall of our own taboos - we cannot admit that the psychological premises of an entire civilization might be dysfunctional. Arab failure isn't about that which has been done to the Middle East, but that which the Middle East has done to itself.

Iraq still has a chance, if a slimmer one than we had hoped. But even if Iraq's Arabs disappoint our ambitions, our efforts will have been worthy and our losses not in vain. Intervention was unavoidable, whatever the critics say. Continued passivity in the face of the Middle East's implosion would only have made the price higher in the end.

We all would be better off were the Arabs to surprise us by building healthy, prosperous, modern societies. We would be foolish not to wish them well. But we would be equally foolish not to prepare ourselves for the consequences of their accelerating failure.

I truly believe this is the last chance for the middle east. They will get to the point of absolutely forcing Western civilization to go in one last time to put a stop to the nonsense going on in there. And, yes, I mean Europe will be there, sick and tired as anyone can be of it all. Weapons of mass destruction will be used, there will be no choice.

There is no escaping it.

Beware the Virus

Today I got an e-mail with a viral attachment. It is the first time I have received one. It was obvious to me because the e-mail was sent as if from my e-mail host telling me I have been sending mail with virus attached. It said more info was attached and said for security I had to use a password, which it gave. I don't use that account for sending mail, only receiving and I have e-mailed and had contact with the owner and I know his style of writing. It was not from them. I reported it to them and scanned for a virus and sure enough, that's what it was.

If you need anti-virus software but can't afford it, there is a solution. Go to Panda Active Scan and use their free online scanner. It works and it will also remove the virus. It is what I used today.

BTW, don't click on any e-mail attachment unless you are 100% sure you know who sent it, you are expecting it and have scanned it for a virus. A virus wouldn't spread if people didn't click on them.

Good Thing They're Peaceful

Muslim kills sister to uphold 'honor'

An anthropologist's study last year said dozens and probably hundreds of brutal "honor killings" of Palestinian women and girls – most of whom are virtually blameless – annually go unreported.

James Emery says the women "are murdered in their homes, in open fields, and occasionally in public, sometimes before crowds of cheering onlookers."

And you have to read this: Hirsi Ali: shut anti-woman, anti-gay Dutch mosque

Somali-born MP Ayaan Hirsi Ali demanded on Thursday the closure of an Amsterdam mosque that sells books supporting female circumcision, beating wives and the murder of gay people.

The publication — translated as The Way of the Muslim in English — is said to advocate violence against women and killing gay people.

Gay people should be thrown head first off high buildings. If not killed on hitting the ground, they should then be stoned to death, the book allegedly suggests.

"The Way of the Muslim" is one of the publications on sale at the El Tawheed mosque. Earlier this month the mosque was at the centre of a storm about another book available at its open day organised to help combat the mosque's negative public image.

That book "Fatwas of Muslim Women" says that women who lie deserve 100 blows and the husband's duty of care for his wife is negated if she refuses him sex or leaves the home without his permission. One of its most controversial aspects is the call for Muslim girls to be circumcised.

MPs and media commentators attacked the Amsterdam mosque previously when one of the imams referred to non-Muslims as "firewood for hell". He also forbade Islamic women from leaving the family home without the permission of their husbands.

RTL Television reported on Thursday a cameraman was assaulted when a news team attempted to buy "The Way of the Muslim" at the mosque.

Eventually RTL's female reporter managed to buy the book, albeit while accompanied by police protection.

Tumbling Walls

Pieces of Stone From the Western Wall of the Temple Mount Loosen and Break Off

Over the past three years since Tisha B'Av 2001 we have witnessed the godly phenomenon that the walls surrounding the Temple Mount have started to move, to form bulges, and to crack, even having part of them collapse. Now the time of the Western Wall has come. How can it be that people, including Israelis, are too blind to understand that this is not merely an accident but a clear message from the G-d of Israel to the people of Israel as well as to the enemies of the G-d and people of Israel? In the almost 2,000 years since 70 CE, when the Temple was destroyed by the Romans and the walls around the Temple Mount survived, such a phenomenon has never occurred to the walls of the Temple Mount as we are seeing today. We are living in G-d's time of the redemption of the people and land of Israel and the Temple Mount. In the bottom of my heart, soul, and spirit I can hear the call of G-d to His people, Israel, to be a part of this exciting endtime when prophecy is fulfilled daily in Israel and now on the Temple Mount, the holy hill of G-d.

There is alot of passion, emotion and deeply held beliefs surrounding the Temple Mount. Jerusalem will be the centerpiece and source of major trouble that will take this world down.

China warns North Korean dictator

China bluntly told the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il yesterday that he must end his dangerous and eccentric policies.

China's three most powerful men told him to compromise in talks on the fate of his covert nuclear weapons arsenal and to embrace capitalism or face deeper isolation.

According to leaks, they also told him to take a realistic view of US foreign policy, and to follow China and South Korea in pursuing capitalism.

China embraces capitalism? China embraces capitalism the way the United States embraces communism. Ummm, wait a minute ...

Actually, what they told him was, and I'm paraphrasing because I don't know chinese, "Look Kim, we have a long term plan we're implimenting here, it's working pretty well and we don't want you screwing it up for us. Chill and we'll give you South Korea when the time comes."

Arabs Hate Us Even More

Mubarak: Arabs Hate U.S. More Than Ever

And we should care? Who don't Arabs hate? If they have no enemies they fight each other. I'll tell you who Arabs hate more than anyone - themselves. They still hate that they were not the "chosen" son of Abraham. It still permeates their existance. They won't admit it, they claim they are the chosen ones, but they know the truth and they can't get over it.

New Star

Every night for the past few weeks I've seen a large, bright star in the western sky as I leave for work. I've never seen it before and I wondered about it until I mentioned it to someone else who said it was the Space Station in a very low orbit so it is easily seen by eye. I looked on the internet a bit to see if it was true but could not confirm it. It does make sense though. Now every night I think of it as the space station instead of a star or planet.

Volcano of Revenge

Hamas vows "volcano of revenge" after Rantissi assassination, Sharon defiant

Eventually, Israel will be forced to do more than squash one bug at a time. The near future doesn't look so good for any country right now but there is no future for the Arabs living in Palestine. Their own brothers in Syria, Jordon, and Egypt, among others want nothing to do with them except to use them against Israel. If they could break out of the cycle of hatred they would have a great future living with Israel but that will not happen. The only future they face is death and they know it. They are dead on the inside and have only death to look forward to. The thing is, nobody really wants to do the job for them.
Oops

Lather, Rinse, Repeat

Just in case someone doesn't already know this: It's religion gone mad

British Muslim fundamentalists planned terror attacks and arrests were made in Ilford, England, my hometown. Boring Ilford may be, but nobody is oppressed there! Muslims who grew up with British democracy, free British health care, free British education and British tolerance have no reason to kill anyone, let alone those who gave them such privilege.

Remember, these people came to Britain, as they did to Canada, the United States and the rest of the free, Christian-based world to escape Islamic states and their harshness.

It is the pluralistic openness and decency of Europe and North America that has allowed so many Muslim immigrants. How ironic that a minority of those people hate that very pluralism and decency and want to slaughter women and children in the name of their god and their cause.

Opening the Door a Crack

Polish Firebrand Praises Hitler's 'Early' Policies

"At the beginning of his activities, Hitler had a really good program," Lepper told the Zycie Warszawy newspaper. "I don't know what happened to him later...who had such influence over him that he moved toward genocide."

Oh, I don't know, maybe ... Satan!

Haider also once praised Hitler's "enviable" record in job creation.

Some Polish commentators have drawn parallels between Hitler's tactics on his way to power and Lepper's.

Like Hitler, who scorned Germany's feeble Weimar Republic, Lepper uses fiery rhetoric to attack the mainstream parties and the shortcomings of Poland's young democracy.

He opposes Poland's EU membership, wants more state intervention in the economy and advocates strong presidential powers such as those enjoyed by Russia's Vladimir Putin.

His popularity is fueled by promises to slash the country's high unemployment, running at about 20 percent, by launching wide-scale public works.

Hitler launched huge infrastructure projects including building Germany's autobahn network and the armaments industry after he seized power in 1933.

Didn't John "socialist" Kerry say he would create more jobs?

Thomas Sowell Thinks

Random thoughts on the passing scene

Good stuff in here. Here's a sample:

Judges should ask themselves: Are we turning the law into a trap for honest people and a bonanza for charlatans?

I wish the majority of our judges were as well meaning as to think those thoughts. More and more, judges are charlatans.

Many disastrous mistakes, in both public and private life, are not due to people thinking stupidly but to their not bothering to think at all. If you don't stop and think, then it doesn't matter whether you are a genius or a moron.

Ain't that the truth.

Just before France surrendered to the invading Nazi armies in 1940, French Premier Paul Reynaud broadcast an appeal to America -- which was not in the war at that time -- to send planes and tanks to enable France to fight on. He didn't ask that we consult other countries or go to the League of Nations. He wanted unilateral American help.

The Game of Life

We’re kidding ourselves if we think that containing a few terrorists will allow America to live in peace and safety. We’re kidding ourselves if we think we can bring troops home from Iraq and that’s the end of the war. This war is going to be with us for generations. Millions of followers of Osama bin Laden and those like him believe that it is their manifest destiny as Muslims to bring about the utter destruction of Jews, Christians, and Western civilization.

From Facing the Facts of History by Chuck Colson

Searching Protecting Arabs

Ann Coulter writes: Thank you for choosing United, Mr. bin Laden

Last week, 9-11 commissioner John Lehman revealed that "it was the policy (before 9-11) and I believe remains the policy today to fine airlines if they have more than two young Arab males in secondary questioning because that's discriminatory." Hmmm ... Is 19 more than two? Why, yes, I believe it is. So if two Jordanian cab drivers are searched before boarding a flight out of Newark, Osama bin Laden could then board that plane without being questioned. I'm no security expert, but I'm pretty sure this gives terrorists an opening for an attack.

In a sane world, Lehman's statement would have made headlines across the country the next day. But not one newspaper, magazine or TV show has mentioned that it is official government policy to prohibit searching more than two Arabs per flight.

She also touches on the Gorelick memo.

The person who built that wall described in the infamous 1995 memo, Ashcroft said, "is a member of the commission." If this were an episode of "Matlock," the camera would slowly pan away from Ashcroft's face at this point and then quickly jump to an extreme close-up of Jamie Gorelick's horrified expression. Armed marshals would then escort the kicking, screaming Gorelick away in leg irons as the closing credits rolled. Gorelick was the deputy attorney general in 1995.

The 9-11 commission has finally uncovered the proverbial "smoking gun"! But it was fired by one of the 9-11 commissioners. Maybe between happy reminiscences about the good old days of Ruby Ridge, Waco and the Elian Gonzales raid, Ben-Veniste could ask Gorelick about those guidelines. Democrats think it's a conflict of interest for Justice Scalia to have his name in the same phonebook as Dick Cheney. But there is no conflict of interest having Gorelick sit on a commission that should be investigating her.

She concludes with:

I have news for liberals: Bin Laden is still determined to attack inside the United States! Could they please tell us when and where the next attack will be? Because unless we know that, it's going to be difficult to stop it if we can't search Arabs.

Can You Imagine?

What would happen if Republicans took out an newspaper ad about (pick a democrat) that said "We should put this S.O.B. up against a wall and say 'This is one of our bad days,' and pull the trigger,"

Temple Mount

Eastern Temple Mount Wall May Collapse

The eastern wall of Jerusalem's Temple Mount is in danger of immediate collapse because of damage caused by the February 11 earthquake, a classified government report issued this week concludes.

New cracks and movements in the already fragile 2,000-year-old wall were discerned by archeologists following the February earthquake, the report states.

I'm surprised it has lasted so long considering all the work going on inside, being done by people who claim Jews never occupied the site or ever had anything to do with it and are destroying significant archeological finds.

Wakf (Islamic Trust) director Adnan Husseini on Thursday said that the report over damage to the wall caused by the earthquake was "incorrect." "We do not understand how such a report could be issued since there is no problem due to the earthquake," he said.

OK then. It's the Palestinian people who will be inside when it finally does collapse. And of course, it will be Israel's fault.

Speaking in Tongues?

And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven as borne along by the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And dwelling at Jerusalem there were Jews, devout men out of every nation under heaven.

But this sound occurring, the multitude came together and were confounded, because they each heard them speaking in his own dialect.

And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not these who speak all Galileans?

And how do we each hear in our own dialect in which we were born?

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

Cretans and Arabians, we hear them speaking the great things of God in our own languages.

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying to one another, What does this mean? Acts 2:1-12

Plainly, the text says each person in the audience heard and understood the speaker in the native language of the listener. They understood what was being said, they were not hearing some strange unknown language or gibberish. Again, the speakers spoke of things pertaining to the Kingdom of God in their language and the listeners heard the message translated into their native language. That's what happened at the first Pentecost and it has not happened since. It was a miracle in the hearing.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. I Corinthians 14:33

Some Interesting Items

No fear: Overcoming Bible trauma This is a must-read for those interested in the subject matter.

Scientific integrity and the gospel of Christ Ditto, a must read.

I've noticed a proliferation of Jesus documentaries on TV lately. I haven't seen any that really do justice to the subject. There is a book, on the other hand, that shines a light on the subject like no other. A review of the book reads as follows:

"Inspiring, simply and beautifully written ... You may be shocked, stunned, amazed or angry. You may, on the other hand, be pleased and happy with this refreshingly stimulating account ... Armstrong explodes many of the myths and poses some fascinating and thought-provoking questions ... totally absorbing."

Goddess of Fertility

History of the Easter Bunny

Pagans, on the other hand, have a different explanation of Easter. The pagans worshipped the Anglo-Saxon goddess of fertility: Eostre. Her symbol was the rabbit, and this symbol has reached across many cultures, standing the test of time. The pagans further celebrated spring by painting eggs in spring-like colors. But the Christian missionaries were not about to destroy this pagan tradition and alienate the “lost souls.” Christian missionaries were said to celebrate this festival as well, skillfully using the comradeship to minister to them, trying to convert them.

take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, 'How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.'

You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.

Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it. Deuteronomy 12:30-32

Running Away

But to where do we run, exactly? We learned, or should have learned, on September 11 that we are not safe from the uncivilized world in our own homeland. Given the opportunity they can strike in ways that not only kill innocents, but can devastate our economy and our very way of life. Clearly heading for hills is not an option.

Senator Zell Miller of Georgia said it best. In the battle we now face, there are warriors and there are wimps. In recent days, we have seen the rise of the wimps. Support for the war in Iraq and for President Bush have seriously eroded as a result of the violence in Iraq being committed by those who want us to pick up and run with our tail between our legs.

The enemies of civilization believe that if you kill enough of us, and if you do it on the three 24-hour all news channels who will show the footage hundreds of times, you can get us to get out of town and leave them to do their evil acts and plan for more September 11 attacks.

They believe that we will not die for the freedoms we believe in so the killing and terror continues. That is why they blew up a couple of hundred people in Madrid and wound up moving a government out of power as their reward. Is there any doubt they would go to any lengths to change our government that under President Bush’s leadership has launched the most deadly war against terrorists in America’s history?

A Joke

Two little boys are talking in their bedroom.

The 7-year-old says, "I think it's time we learned how to swear!"

The 5-year-old replied, "Yeah!"

The 7-year-old continued, "When mom calls us down for breakfast, I'll say 'damn,', and you say, 'hell'. OK?"

The 5-year-old says, "OK!"

Mom calls them down for breakfast. She turns to the 7-year-old and asks, "What would you like for breakfast?"

The 7-year-old replies, "Oh, just give me some damn Cheerios!"

Mom gives him a good smack, and sends him up to his room, crying his eyes out. She's irritated now, and turns to the 5 year old with a menacing look. "What do YOU want for breakfast?"

The 5-year-old. terrified, replies between sobs, "I don't know...[sob]...but it sure as hell isn't Cheerios!"

Don't Push Them Too Far

Tokyo Has Few Options for Iraq Hostages

Japan will not turn tail and run away. The Japanese are peace loving and they are in Iraq in a humanitarian capacity, but that in no way is a sign of weakness. The Japanese are a tough and formidable opponent. Ask any G.I. who served in the Pacific during WWII. Ask Koreans and Chinese who have had the experience of being at war with them. If the Islamists push Japan to the point of waging war (not likely, but who knows) they will quickly realize they have made a grave error. I'm not saying America can't pummel these animals into oblivion, in fact, we could do it faster and better than the Japanese if we put our minds to it, but in a war we are too nice. We treat those animals with far more respect than they deserve. We hold back. We take prisoners and treat them well. They aren't afraid of us and they count on our kindness to enable them to kill more of us. That would not happen if Japan were at war with them. They would be very, very afraid.

Nice People

'We will burn them alive'

You do understand that this war against the Islamics is going to escalate terribly and that they are giving us no choice but to wipe them off the face of the earth. Pulling out is not a choice and not going in was not a choice, it would only delay the inevitable. If it gets delayed long enough for them to get themselves some serious weapons (Pakistan), it will be a nuclear war. Nuclear world war. There is nothing we can do or could have done to avoid this. It is in their mind to destroy us and they will not stop. They will not negotiate. And they think they are doing God a favor. It has been such a long time coming, no one could have forseen it. Hind sight is 20/20, get over it. We are not doing ourselves any favors by being nice. Our captives need to be executed and we need to show no mercy on the battlefield. There are no innocents. With the weaponry available around the world we don't have time to bicker and argue and be partison. The very existance of this country is at stake, the lives of your children are on the line. You may not feel the gravity of the situation right now, but it is that serious and you better get a handle on it. We are in the vortex and there is only one way out - it's a very rough ride - and it may be that very few people make it through.

My advice would be to repent, be baptised and keep the commandments (all of them, including the 4th). Get on your knees and ask the Creator of the heavens to forgive you and show you the truth - and as He shows you new truth, keep it, and seek more. It may be He will protect you during the times to come.

When you stop laughing, and I realize you have no intention of doing that, take a long, serious look at the world around you. God is not in or part of this world (and that inludes all the churches, synagogues, temples, and mosques you see). Everything you see going on is the work of your fellow human beings. Most likely, you know we are the product of evolution, therefore we are in this world on our own. If we mess it up, that's the end. Take a serious look again at current world affairs. Look hard, don't ignore what's going on. Can you really say it will all work out? If only Bush wasn't in office things would be better? Islamists wouldn't be attacking us? Kerry, or anyone else, could make the right choices and get us out of this? Do you really believe that? Do you really think it makes any difference who is president to those who would kill us? The only difference is in the ease with which they can kill us. That's all! Can we elect our way out of this mess? The answer, if you are honest with yourself, is NO.

The only thing to do is fight back with no mercy. If we do that, given the state of world affairs today, there is a good chance - better than good chance - that we would be attacked by other countries (China, Russia, Europe, and more) because they would not like us defending ourselves. The U.N. would not take as long to condemn us as it gives its other member states. They not so secretly wish for our demise as well. Still, we really have no choice. History show us our future. Add to the mix the inumerable weapons of mass destruction that exist worldwide and the future does not look pretty. Human nature guarantees it. If God does not exist, evolution will be starting over again soon enough. The Bible says God will wait until the last moment before sending His Son to intervene in world affairs.

for then shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time; no, nor ever shall be.

And unless those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:21-22

Slavery? Outside America? Say It Isn't So

Sudan slave 'crucified' by master

Phillips explains that since the 1980s, the Muslim National Islamic Front government has sanctioned the taking of Christians and animists from the south part of the nation to be sold to Muslims as slaves in the north.

"During his enslavement …," Phillips wrote, "he was often beaten, tortured and abused by his Arab master. African slaves, especially Christians, are viewed as lower than animals.

"After brutally beating Joseph on the head and all over his body, the master laid him out on a wooden plank. He then nailed Joseph to the plank by driving nine-inch nails through his hands, knees and feet. He then poured acid on Joseph's legs to inflict even greater pain, and finally left him for dead."

"In case you are wondering," wrote Phillips, "no criminal charges were brought against Joseph's master, because he acted within his 'rights' under currently practiced 'sharia law.' To say that Christians are second-class citizens in much of the Islamic world (not just the Sudan) is a cruel understatement."

What? No white slavemasters? Move on, nothing to see here.

And This Is News?

Alamo movie filled with 'fairy tales'

"The movie reads more like a Disney fairy tale and promotes a politically correct revisionist agenda aimed at destroying a traditional American hero," said B. Forrest Clayton, a Freedom Alliance visiting fellow.

Not quite earth-shattering news. It's not the first time and it won't be the last. Hollyweird isn't exactly pro-traditional American values, to put it nicely.
CNN - Are They Still On The Air?

'Bogus' story aired by CNN

"Its whole story about legislation to fire teachers was bogus," said Dr. John West, associate director of the Center for Science and Culture at Discovery Institute, in a statement. "Unfortunately, CNN ran its story without checking the facts first. There is no such legislation currently under consideration in Missouri, let alone any other states as CNN reported."

Better Off With Saddam?

Report: Blix Says Iraq Worse Off After War

I wouldn't say that, but perhaps they had the government they deserved.

A Pig On Every Bus

Israel enlists pigs against terrorists

Though the pig is considered a defiled animal strictly forbidden in Jewish dietary laws, the Muslims forbid any contact with the animal. Any contact with the pig is punishable by denial of entry to paradise.

According to recent reports, the Israeli government may soon place bags of lard on buses – a favorite target of suicide bombers. Many Muslims thus believe that a corpse smeared in pig remains disqualifies its owner from ascension to paradise, a goal of many Palestinian "martyrs."

I don't know why they weren't already doing this.

Dennis Prager Hits Another One Out of the Park

Why no Christian suicide bombers? and other thoughts on Islamic terror

There is Palestinian terror for the same reasons there is Muslim terror elsewhere. A significant part of the Muslim world wishes to destroy those non-Muslims -- Americans, Israelis, Filipinos, Nigerians, Sudanese blacks -- who prevent Islam from violently attaining power.

Palestinian Muslim terror emanates from a desire to destroy Israel, not to end Israel's occupation of the West Bank. Other Muslim terror is aimed at weakening the West, America in particular, so that militant theocratic Islam can dominate Muslim-majority societies and then take over other societies, as it is slowly doing in Western Europe.

It Will Get Alot Worse, Before It Gets Better

Terrorists in England were planning to use some ‘Very Nasty’ chemicals in their bombs.

There are alot of nasty chemicals that can be used as part of a bomb that are easy to obtain legally. It doesn't have to be ricin to be deadly - or horrific.

If they keep this up it will cause us to have no choice but to become very heavy handed in our defense. In other words, serious escalation in the war.

Well, What Do You Know

Al Qaeda absent from final Clinton report

The final policy paper on national security that President Clinton submitted to Congress — 45,000 words long — makes no mention of al Qaeda and refers to Osama bin Laden by name just four times.

The scarce references to bin Laden and his terror network undercut claims by former White House terrorism analyst Richard A. Clarke that the Clinton administration considered al Qaeda an "urgent" threat, while President Bush's national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, "ignored" it.

Who's lying now?
Once They're Here, What Do you Do?

Governor endorses illegal-alien driving bill

Saying rigorous screening standards would ensure recipients ''won't be terrorists,'' Gov. Jeb Bush on Monday strongly endorsed issuing state driver's licenses to both illegal immigrants and foreign nationals who make Florida home for part of the year.

I just don't understand the thinking of those who want to give ILLEGAL immigrants a driver's license. They say it will make the roads safer because they won't be driving without a license, but those who wouldn't pass the rigorous screening would not bother to try and would still drive illegally anyway.

''Our roads and streets will be safer because of this,'' Garcia said, adding that the sprawling nature of most Florida cities makes owning a car a necessity, and that the state, by not giving ILLEGAL immigrants licenses, ``almost tells these folks to break the law, because that's the only way they're going to be doing anything.''
Emphasis mine.

Not giving ILLEGAL immigrants a license causes them to break the law? You mean it causes them to break another law while they are already breaking the one that says they are not allowed to even be here.

''We shouldn't allow them to come into our country to begin with,'' Bush said. ``But once they're here, what do you do? Do you say that they're lepers to society? That they don't exist? It seems that a policy that ignores them is a policy of denial.''

Once they're here, what do you do? We have been ingoring them, that's why there are so many. If they are here ILLEGALLY, you send them back. If there is a reason not to send them back, you make them LEGAL. Then, they can get a driver's license LEGALLY. You still have to better protect the borders because if it's easy to gain entry ILLEGALLY then those who can't be here LEGALLY, like terrorists and other criminals will still come in and stay under the radar, like they can do now.

It is unfortunate that we have to have border protection to keep some people out of the country but that is the reality of the world we live in and we are not going to change that. We can change our laws to make it easier for more to come in if we feel it is the right thing to do but keeping ILLEGAL immigrants ILLEGAL yet giving them a driver's license is not the way to go. Instead of a driver's license, why not just screen them and make them legal. Give them a year to get legal or however long, but after that time anyone who has not gone through the process should be immediately deported and we should forever remain vigilant to keep ILLEGAL immigrants out.

Those who want the ILLEGAL immigrants to stay in the country have created an underclass of people who can never have all the rights of an American, can't properly earn a living and can't have the same standard of living as you and I. And, they want to keep them that way! In other words, what they want are slaves without actually calling them such.

The Nations and Their Religion

A Modern German writer has well said: "The birth of heathenism may be dated from the moment when the presumptuous statement was uttered, 'Go to, let us build a city and a tower whose top may reach unto heaven, and let us make us a name.'" Even Josephus, the ancient Jewish historian, regards Nimrod as the father of heathenism, the characteristic of which is to find strength and happiness in sin, and not in God. Its essential principle is to reject all that is not seen, and to cling to that which is temporal. Thus we also may be heathens in heart, even though we are not such in mind, and do not worship stocks or stone. Indeed, it is very remarkable, that neither nation nor tribe has ever been discovered which did not acknowledge and worship some superior Being; and yet from the most savage barbarians to the most refined philosopher, they have all been destitute of the knowledge of the one living and true God. The only exception in the world has been that of Israel, to whom God specially revealed Himself; and even Israel required constant teaching, guidance, and discipline from on high to keep them from falling back into idolatry. Idolatry is the religion of sight in opposition to that of faith. Instead of the unseen Creator, man regarded that which was visible - the sun, the moon, the stars - as the cause and the ruler of all; or he assigned to everything its deity, and thus had gods many and lords many; or else he converted his heroes, real or imaginary, into gods. The worship of the heavens, the worship of nature, or the worship of man - such is heathenism and idolatry. And yet all the while man felt the insufficiency of his worship, for behind these gods he placed a dark, immovable, unsearchable Fate, which ruled supreme, and controlled alike gods and men. It was indeed a terrible exchange to make - to leave our heavenly Father and His love for such delusions and disappointments. The worst of it was, that man gradually became conformed to his religion. He first imputed his own vices to his gods, and next imitated the vices of his gods. Assuredly, the heathen nations were the younger son in the parable (Luke 15:12), who had left his father's house with the portion of goods that belonged to him - heathen science, art, literature, and power - to find himself at the last driven to eat the husks on which the swine do feed, and yet not able to satisfy the cravings of his hunger! Blessed be God for that revelation of Himself in Christ Jesus, which has brought the prodigal back to the Father's home and heart! - The Bible History, Old Testament, Volume I by Alfred Edersheim

I don't believe the birth of heathenism was at the Tower of Babel, certainly the entire world was hedonistic in one form or another before the flood. Human nature had not, indeed, has not changed.

because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can it be. - Romans 8:7

But the rest of that paragraph is pretty much spot on.

Got Some Auctions Up

I put up some new auctions. Check them out here.

Do You Want the U.N. to Control the High Seas?

U.N. Wants Control of the Seas with U.S. Senate's help

And the Senate is only too happy to hand it over.

After unanimously passing the Treaty out of committee, the pressure is on to give it "unanimous consent," meaning there will be no official vote to ratify the treaty; no record of support or opposition; no one to blame when it’s over. The treaty will just become the law of the land -- no muss, no fuss. Business as usual. Senators like to hide from thhe people that way. It makes life so much easier for them.

Here's another sample, but really, read the whole thing.

In the name of "social equity," a euphemism for "redistribution of the wealth," the UN's Law of the Sea Treaty will replace the freedom of the seas concept with central control from an international body, specifically the United Nations. Under UN control a new supranational agency has been created called the Seabed Authority.

The Seabed Authority is organized identically to the UN General Assembly using the one nation, one vote model. That means that numerous, tiny Third World nations can organize a block of votes hostile to the United States and other industrial nations. Such a setup has created an unworkable situation in the General Assembly and it's why that body achieves very little of worthwhile substance. Now, the same gridlock expects to rule the seas of the world.

The Seabed Authority will have the power to regulate all the seas -- roughlly seven-tenths of the world’s surface area. It will have the sole power to issue permits for fishing and mining and drilling operations under the surface. It can fix prices of sea products and impose quotas on how much is produced. It can levy international taxes and impose production quotas on deep-sea mining and oil production; control ocean research and exploration; and create a multinational court to enforce its dictates. Don't be surprised to see Seabed Authority ships plying the waters, stalking ships, and mining and drilling operations it deems in violation of its authority.

The Seabed Authority can force governments and private companies to file for permits and impose fees and it can delay production for years. Yet, in the end, after charging up to a million dollars for permit fees, there is nothing in the Treaty that requires the Authority to EVER issue even a single permit. In addition, the provisions establishing the Authority gives it the power to set up its own mining and drilling activities, and compete right next to private efforts. That provision alone should set off alarm bells concerning the fairness of permit decisions.

How can anyone be stupid enough to position the U.S. to bow to the U.N.? Unless the goal is to dismantle the U.S.
